Lithuania – 
17 acts performed songs of their own choice and cover versions this weekend in a preliminary programme that kickstarted Lithuania’s selection process. You can now watch and listen to some of the acts online and vote for your favourite. Voting is open on the official website here. The winning act will win prizes from sponsors. Dar are currently easily in the lead with 41%. No-one will be voted off at this stage.
The list of songs covered, according to sources in Lithuania, are:

9. Julia Jegorova – Žinau Tai Tu

11. DAR – Everybody Knows

13. Eden – Be Tavęs
14. Neringa Šiaudikytė – Nepalik Manęs
15. Vincentas Linkevičius – Somewhere

I kinda wish “Audra” would be their entry. I also liked Eden’s choice of song – a rock song with an accordion solo, lol.

I dont get this, this is like to get known in the country and start a buzz right? without the actual songs, we cant really say anything; a lot of the names look familiar to me and remember liking some of them in the past (mostly Eden’s “Nirvana”)
I am not going to vote for anyone. I just declared my support for Monika’s classy live vocals. I can only wish that she finds the right song this time. Good luck to all hopefuls.
The fact that DAR leads this televote proves why people shouldn’t have any power. Oh god… my ears. You’ll rarely hear me say this, but the men of the group are so much better than the women. The girls can’t sing.

From what I have heard Multiks sound like the most interesting act so far… DAR are just horrible.
