If I could provide a -star rating I would. Doesn't even deserve 1!
Awful service, awful response. Took money, products not turned up despite numerous emails. Wish I'd read these reviews first.
Given all the awful reviews amazed something isn't being done about this company.

Seriously disappointed don't touch with a barge pole.

Avoid!

Have used before and were slow to deliver but did answer queries and apologised, then order received soon after. This time they are not answering email or telephone enquiries. Nearly 2 wks now whereas they quote orders usually received in 7 business days. Not happy, will keep chasing but won’t use again. Avoid!!

Boycott

Purchased from the website. Item never arrived. Sent numerous emails. No response. Called customer service, no possibility of speaking to a human as goes straight to voice mail.

Discovered they have a Salon in Nottingham that they also trade from. Easy enough to find online. Decided to vent my frustrations on their Instagram to warn customers.

Will also be making a trip to the Salon after April 12th ; )

Unfortunetly did not read the trust…

Unfortunetly did not read the trust pilot before purchasing and got into same situation like everyone else. Please report this website to google so they shut it down and no more people get their credit card details to them. You can do that by typing into google "report fradulent website" and follow the instructions. It takes two minutes.

BEWARE. SCAM. FRAUD. THIEVES.

I cannot believe that these scumbags are allowed to trade. They take money and then never send the product. They keep saying they'll refund the money but never do. They've managed to get FAKE POSITIVE REVIEWS posted to Feefo. DO NOT BUY. David Butler is apparently the manager according to Companies House. They have a virtual office. Absolute crooks

Minus stars would be more appropriate.
Repeating what everyone has stated below.
Items missing from my order, initially, the salon was responsive and I was told that I would receive an email confirming a refund. As previously mentioned, a check on Companies House suggests the company was dissolved in 2015 and the records aren't great...Steer clear.

SCAM COMPANY DON’T USE

SCAM, SCAM, SCAM COMPANY!!!!!!
Ordered just over £45 worth of products back in January, still not received. They send updates on your delivery, which aren’t genuine. London number on their website when they say they’re based in Nottingham. Can’t put a review on their site as they’ve placed positive reviews there themselves. AVOID AT ALL COSTS........

Bizarre shopping experience

Bizarre shopping experience. Ordered shampoo and conditioner at the beginning of April. After two weeks, emailed to check why no delivery. A week later, received a reasonable reply about "internal issues". Strange that they didn't blame tardiness on COVID-19. 19 days ago, received email stating that the parcel was being shipped by Hermes but goods remain uncollected and undelivered as of beginning of June. So, are they thieves or just plain incompetent?

STAY WELL AWAY

STAY WELL AWAY, tried to buy some texture paste from them, bought it 6am Monday, heard nothing, emailed a few times, no reply. After 10 days they got back to me saying the tracking info hadn’t been updated so then got an email from Hermes with a tracking number and to this date the tracking number still says awaiting package and it’s well over 14 days now. Tried emailing a few more times with no luck! I hate to leave bad reviews but this company are the worst company I have ever dealt with and will do everything I can to stop other people using them!

Terrible - Don't buy from these people

Terrible - don't buy from these people. Order placed on 14th June and I have not received my complete order yet. Despite several emails, answering machine messages, messenger messages etc., I have still to receive an update on when I will receive my complete order. Terrible communication and really bad service. If they are unable to provide the service they promise, they should close down. AVOID.

Dear friends.

Dear friends.
This company takes your money and sends nothing. Its a scam.
If you have become a victim, contact your bank and report as a fraudulent transaction. When the bank contacts them they will pay you back.
Clearly its profitable to advertise and not have intention to deliver.
Contact the hairdresser by the same name in Nottingham.
Good luck and don't use them anymore.

Please is there anybody there who could…

Please is there anybody there who could take a legal action against this company. They are thieves and fraudsters. They take peoples money and never respond. Just read reviews, this is disgraceful that such dishonest company still selling their product online. Please someone do something !!!

Worse company I have ever bought from

Hands down the worse company I have ever bought from. Products took weeks to arrive, numerous emails sent, not one reply- contacted them on Instagram- still no answers.
Involved my bank, made a chargeback, products then delivered but I don't want to keep them, I can't send them back as there is no way to contact them so not a clue how to send them back - I have paid nearly £200 for items I can't return.

I WISH I HAD READ THE REVIEWS BEFOREHAND! the worst experience I’ve had with ordering online feels like I’m dealing with a teenager on depop not a ‘professional’ business...sick on contacting them but feel if I never changed them up I would still be here with no products! Got two out of three say they will send out but don’t and just try to keep you sweet without actually doing anything...don’t waste your time please

Do not waste your time and energy with this company.

Similar story to everyone else on here, constantly being told my order was in the post/delivered yet no delivery arrived. Constant chasing on my part fobbed off with copy and paste answers. They were useless when I was trying to track with Hermes where the order was (I suspect it never left their building!). Waiting on my refund as they said it would take 10 days, today is the 9th day and still no refund. I will be reporting to my bank and trading standards - do not purchase from this website!

Awful service

Awful service, ordered on the 22nd August, still no parcel on the 7th of September. Nobody answers the phone, emails just apologise but do nothing to sort it out. Hermes still haven't received the parcel for delivery despite Gooseberry saying it was despatched 4 days ago.
I don't believe this is an actual shop with stock, they certainly haven't got my order in stock! Never again...

Wish I’d read these reviews before…

Wish I’d read these reviews before ordering from Gooseberry. The company should be shut down by Trading Standards. I ordered £50 of goods a month ago which have not been received despite the money being immediately debited from my account. Emails and calls have not been returned.
