Layla Fritz. Young. Beautiful. Wild. And now my med student.

I slept with someone I shouldn’t have.
One moment I was saving her from the clingy jerk at the bar, and the next I was making her an offer.
No strings, no last names, just a wild night neither of us would forget.
Until she walked into my classroom Monday morning. As my med student.
Which officially makes her off-limits.
For a while, we manage to keep things professional, especially when my life takes a tragic turn, and I become a single dad to my niece. But when everything starts to fall apart, I ask her for an irresistibly wild favor—
Only Layla isn’t just any other woman, and before long it becomes impossible to keep my hands to myself—they’re in her hair, on her body, and making her cry out for more.
What started off as a friendly arrangement quickly goes up in a ball of hot, sweaty flames.
I’m risking it all to win her heart. But what if I’m after something she isn’t ready to give?

"Stay with me?"
"Always"

This is soooo freaking good, and I love everything in this story. The tension, off-the-charts chemistry, writing style, plot, main characters, side characters, relationship development, and basically every element in this book. ♥️

Layla (23) and Callan (31) meet in a restaurant when a guy won't stop bothering her, and she goes to Callan to ask him to pretend he's the one she's meeting up with. He played his role, and that night ended with them having an ONS.

Layla left early in the morning, and she was insistent that it's a one-and-done thing only. She just got out of a relationship two months ago, and she promised herself she wouldn't fall in love anymore—well, not at least in the near future.

But when she came to class on Monday, they were both shocked to see that Callan was the temporary professor in her class. And as for Callan, he cannot get her out of his head; she was a constant thought in his mind, and no other woman made him feel that way. He knew right there, and then he's fucked 😂

Then a tragedy happened, Callan's brother and sister-in-law died in a car accident that left their six-year-old and only daughter, Katy, orphaned. He took care of her as a temporary guardian in the meantime. However, his sister-in-law's parents were money-hungry, and they contested the guardianship. They didn't give a crap about Katy, but they wanted her money.

Callan wanted to be her permanent guardian, but in the eyes of the law, his lifestyle and work were sort of making his application a bit difficult. He is single and works long hours; he didn't scream stability in the domestic department, and it's something the law wanted for Katy. That's where Layla came in; she pretended to be his fake fiancée to help Callan gain permanent custody of Katy.

I really enjoyed reading this. Or the way they're forbidden because of school and work (he's her attending physician), but they somehow can't keep their hands off each other. They stopped doing anything intimate for a while because Layla wanted to protect her heart, and she thinks putting a distance between them will help her. But Callan is persistent, and he wanted so much more from Layla. I think it was insta-love for him since the first time they met, and because of the forced proximity and engagement charade, he only falls for her each passing day, up to the point he determined he's all in and she is it for him.

Layla felt the same pull, but she was scared to embrace it, thanks to her douchecanoe ex-boyfriend. But seeing that Callan is so far from her ex and that he's a good, responsible, and dependable guy in general, Layla eventually gave in to the mutual attraction.

I loved how Callan fell first, hard, and fast. He was so overwhelmed with his love for her, and the lines he said to her were so sweet and swoony. Though Layla took a little while to say it back to him, I think it's still sweet when she realizes how much she's in deep too. The maturity, honesty, and openness between these two are so adorable. Also, don't get me started with their steamy scenes! Maaaan, the two of them together combust; they are both animals in the sheets, and they complement each other's drive. Let's just say they're both talented in the sexual department 😉

Callan's relationship with his niece is so cute, and he's so protective of her. I liked Layla's relationship with Katy too; they've bonded over the same trauma, and it's really heartfelt reading how she's helping Katy navigate through these difficult times. And Callan and Layla acting as parents are just so adorable to read, as are the family time and individual time they spend together.

Overall, I loved this book. I'm a sucker for the single parent trope, and I had so much fun reading this story. I highly recommend it!

Safety warnings:
- No cheating / OW drama
- OM drama (her ex won't leave her alone, but she tells him to get lost every time)
- Death of a love one
- Student/Professor relationship
- Boss/Assistant relationship (she's working for him as an intern too in the hospital)
- No third act breakup
- Push and pull at the beginning

I am so obsessed with this series!!

This is the 3rd book and it’s Callan & Layla’s story. They meet one evening when Layla needed a fake date. They immediately have a connection, their chemistry is 🔥🔥. They are my favorite couple in this series.

I love the crossover connection with the Doctor series. This was so well written I can’t wait for Asher’s story.

just finished this one and loved it! callan and layla meet and have a fun no strings attached night together, then soon find out that he’s her new med school professor and she will be working with him at the hospital 🤭 they try to stay away from each other, but when he suddenly becomes the guardian of his 6 year old niece, he needs a fiancé to help win custody.

j. saman books are always such a treat: funny, spicy, and heartfelt with the best family dynamics and friendships! it was so fun to be back with the fritz family from her previous series while also having all the new characters from this one! thank you valentine PR for the ARC!

Oh my heart y'all, this book! Every time this gifted wordsmith comes out with a new romance, I don’t think she can possibly top the last one, but she somehow does, and I loved every second I spent with Callan and Layla!

Callan Borrows has a found family made up of the members from their band, Central Square, and the partners they’ve collected along the way. They’ve gone off in different directions since the band split, but they're bonded by loyalty and love and always have each other's backs. And when Callan's life does a complete 180, he needs his family more than ever.

Layla Atkins Fritz (yes, that Fritz family!) is the wild part of the equation. She's broken up with her lousy ex and is in her second year of medical school. She's not looking for a relationship, or even a guy, but when Callan rescues her from a disgusting drunk at a bar, it leads to one hot night destined to become only a memory. But then she finds her path crossing with Callan, a lot. And when she becomes pivotal to Callan having custody of his recently orphaned niece, Layla finds the walls she's built around her heart being threatened and her wild, carefree life becoming a thing of the past.

Notwithstanding the fabulous tropes of student/teacher, fake relationship, single dad, medical romance, and age gap, Saman has outdone herself with this freaking amazing read. We get a lot more of our beloved Fritz family and more of the Central Square family we've come to adore. This story really has it all, full of angst, drama, steam, and deep emotion. I love it so much it's my new favorite read. Run to the 1-Click and start reading this phenomenal, evocative romance that is guaranteed to make your romantic heart swoon and happy sigh!

Irresistibly Wild by J Saman is an intoxicating and scorchingly hot romance that captivated me from start to finish. The story revolves around Callan Borrows, a gorgeous single dad doctor, and Layla Atkins Fritz, a wild and beautiful med student. Their passionate encounter turns into a forbidden affair when Layla becomes Callan's student. The author skillfully weaves together a forbidden professor/student, forced proximity, and fake relationship trope, creating a tale loaded with intense chemistry, laughs, and serious spice.
The characters are well-developed and endearing, especially the found family of Central Square band members, who offer unwavering support to Callan during life's upheavals. Layla's strong and independent nature contrasts perfectly with Callan's protective and caring demeanor. As their relationship deepens, they both face emotional challenges that add depth and intensity to the story.
J Saman has outdone herself with this heartwarming and angsty read. Irresistibly Wild delivers an unforgettable mix of passion, drama, and profound emotion, making it an absolute favorite that I highly recommend to romance enthusiasts.

"But looking at you... you make me want to break all the rules"

~I'm not sure what I feel about this book. The beginning of the book was sooo good. It promised so much with it being a strangers to teacher and student but then it slowly started escalating by being repetitive. You all know I hate when one of the characters is like "noooo I don't want a relationship because some white boy broke my heart when I was seven and I haven't recovered" 🧍‍♀️and this book did just that. I liked how in a way the mmc and the fmc were in a way already connected by the female main character's family members but her whole family tree and friends were so confusing and simply ✨ unnecessary ✨

(thank you for Valentine PR for the arc)

➴When Lana is being bothered in a restaurant she goes to the only man who is alone at a table and asks him to act as her boyfriend. He confusingly accepts and then acts as if she's his territory to the man bothering him. Later on, she goes home with him, only looking for a one-night thing but when the next day she walks into her class and sees that he's her temporary professor, she can't deny the attraction she feels for him.

➳Lana... her character was soooo blonde stereotype coded! She's blonde with blue eyes, a button nose, and luscious lips. What is this Wattpad? She's also supposed to be badass. As much as I hate to see it moving on from your ex-boyfriend who slept with someone else when you were on a break does not make you a badass but a normal human being with emotions. Also, how the hell would that make you want to focus off of love forever? It just shows how he wasn't ready for love not you but someone the blonde stereotype entered into her pores. I do have to admit that her love for Callan's niece was really cute in the book but all of the misunderstanding between them didn't make a plot but annoyance.

"All of it is now hers. And it'll stay hers. Even when she walks away from me"

I didn't feel a connection to her and her love of piercings but that's just me. I'm sure someone out there is completely in love with her which isn't me so no hard feelings. I'm going to go back on her wittle bwack heart 😔😓 If your heart gets broken, cry about it and move on to finding someone better. The "I want to focus on my studies" is such a lame excuse and everyone knows it.

The fact that she was trying to avoid him instead of talking about her feelings is such a cliche book move that I hate. There is literally NO NEED for a miscommunication trope. You'll get the same amount of pages and a good plot out of showing a wholesome moment between the two but oh well.

➳ Callan had so much potential on being an amazing book boyfriend but nooooo he had to go and mess it up with me. He was so sweet and nice to her when they met and showed they he truly loved her but then got angry when he verbally told her he loved her and she didn't say it back. You are a grown ass man. Act like it. The scenes of him with his niece made my ovaries bubble but we aren't talking about me. Their love definitely felt one-sided. He loved her more and no one will tell me otherwise.

"All the while, I sit here and listen, watching her, unable to drag my gaze away for even a moment"

This man was the glue to the book because if it was for her she'd go home cry about their relationship and do nothing about it but this man risked getting fired to make sure her grades weren't effected by their relationship.

"I'm wholly, completely, irrecoverable cast under her spell"

The niece and the grandma were the real stars of the show here because I found most of the other side characters annoying af.

⇻ The smut was toe-curling good. Like the washroom scene had me melting and evaporating. I LOVED IT. i too would not be able to ever do laundry in that house without thinking about what they did so I don't blame her. This doesn't have to do with the smut but the fact that that man built her her own little reading room with books and a reading chair was like 'woah *drools cutely*'. I swear that these two did the doodoodiidii on every surface possible. But I was there for it. I feel like they are the type of couple who would do it if they ever achieved something in life like "Oh you made a pink cake?! *pulls it out*" "Oh you killed a wasp?! *pulls it out*" You get me?

In conclusion, it had potential but the characters came out to be obsessive or obnoxious which made it less likable. STOP DOING THE FREAKING MISCOMMUNICATION TROPE AND THE SHE GOT HURT SO SHE CLOSES HER HEART TROPE. IT'S ANNOYING. <3

Thank you for hearing me rant about books once again xxx

You know sometimes you come across a flawless book, I think this is one of those for me.

This is the first book from the series I’ve read, and I will 1000% be going back to the start because how can I resist if they’re gonna be this good.

These two gave me the world, and gave each the world, and also became each others world. Their meet couldn’t have been better & then the way things brought them together was basically fate, as much as the circumstances BROKE MY HEART 💔 I’m talking like literal sobs from me, so grab the tissues.

This was a clear he falls first and I was loving every moment of them together, this man left me head over heels for him, but she was way too perfect for him so I’ll let her keep her man as long as she pops up with him in future books so I get my dose of him.

I’ve not come across a book with all these tropes mixed before, and it couldn’t have been better, I expected a lot and it still delivered more and then some, so this book brings the good stuff from every angle, and I mean every angle, the spice 😮‍💨👌🏼 and not just from his side, she gives as good as he does, the blush was never ending 🫠🫠

*please take note of the words this man and his washing machine 🔥❤️‍🔥

I really loved this one!!! A forbidden, student x professor, single dad, hurt/comfort book with no third act breakup!!

It was very spicy but also so deeply emotional and heartfelt. Both characters have been hurt in the past and seeing them find love and comfort in each other was precious. Callan was an amazing book bf and I ADORED him. Also him caring for his little girl ughhh I loved.

I did really like Layla!! I think the only reason for not a 5 ⭐️ is because her push pull thing got annoying and I needed her to express her feeling more toward the end but all in all, I really liked this!

Yet again, this author blows me away with her story and her words. I don’t know how it keeps happening to me, I fall in love with her characters and never want the story to end. But I think it’s because the characters are so believable, and I get so invested, that I just can’t help it. I don’t know about you, but I find that a book is extraordinary when it can make me laugh, cry, hold my breath, make me want to throw my kindle, and make me an emotional mess. That’s what this book is, extraordinary. Callan and Layla don’t meet under the usual circumstances, yet from their first encounter, I just knew these two had to be together. Neither is looking for a relationship, both having been hurt in the past, and also their day to day lives give them no time. But they are utterly perfect for each other. Not just because their chemistry is so sizzling, I swear I saw smoke come off the pages, but because they perfectly complement each other. Callan is handsome, kind, caring and will do anything for those he loves. Layla is spirited, sassy, beautiful and has such a kind soul and loves her family fiercely. When a tragedy happens in Callan’s life, Layla is there to help him and his niece, every step of the way. When outside forces threaten to blow up their perfect bubble, both Callan and Layla will do anything to protect their burgeoning little family. There is just so much to love about this book. Not just the main characters, but all the sub-characters who rally around them. If ever there was a story to read, then this is it. Absolute brilliance from beginning to end.

Ahh, Layla and Callan...Such a beautiful story. To be honest, J. Saman never disappoints when it comes to love.

Their story begins as a one-night stand and neither of them thinks that they'll meet again. A couple of days later, Layla is surprised to see Callahan as her professor in class. Even though the spark is still there and the heat is getting bigger and bigger, none of them want to complicate the situation.

But life is cruel and, all of a sudden, Callan is left with being a guardian to his little niece after her parents die. To continue being her guardian, he has to be presentable in the eyes of the court and he asks Layla for help. She has to help him by being his fake fiance. And when two people that are attracted to each other are thrown living together, they can't escape their passion.

In my opinion, Callahan fell first. He just couldn't resist her. I was so happy that there wasn't a lot of drama surrounding it and he accepted his feelings. But Layla had built a strong wall for her feelings after her ex cheated on her. Callahan's job just got a bit difficult, but he broke all her defences with flying colors.

They were such a cute couple. After all the difficulties they faced together, finally everything was going so smoothly between them and I was definitely swooned.

But let me tell you something else. J. Saman knows how to write really good love scenes. She is a magician. All Callahan and Layla's encounters were filled with so much heat, smut and really good sex. And I loved it ❤️❤️❤️.

Overall, I loved the story and definitely fell in love with Callan and Layla as a couple.

P. S. After the ending that included Asher, I am really excited about his book. I can't wait to read what happens next.

Irresistibly Wild is the third book of Irresistibly Yours series, and can be read as a standalone. it’s releasing on July 24th 2023.

“moan like that again and everyone in this building will know you like getting spanked by your professor.”

wow wow wow.. this book surprised the fck out of me. gurrlllllll….tbh, i didn’t expect this book to be this s p i c y 🥵

i’m a simple girl, give me a hot, dirty talker professor and i’ll be living my best life. 😏

i really enjoyed this book. i loved how Callan and Layla became closer to take care of Callan’s niece, Katy, and give her the best life possible.

also, Katy, aka ladybug, she’s the kind of character who will captivate you instantly. she’s super sweet and funny. i love it when sweet and adorable kids are involved in romance books.

overall, i truly enjoyed the story, the plotlines, the spice (🥵🥵), and the characters. but i found some parts were unnecessary and i did wish it was just a little bit shorter.

if you’re looking for a sweet, heartwarming and steamy story to dive into, then Irresistibly Wild is perfect for you 🩷

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟5* Forbidden Sexy Stars🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Irresistibly Wild is the third book in the Irresistibly Yours Series and once again J Saman has delivered a fabulous story.

I loved every word written in Callan and Layla’s story.

Their first-time meeting in a restaurant was hilarious when Callan had to pretend unexpectedly and, on the spot, to be her date and then how the tables turned a few months later when he needed her to reciprocate and become his fake fiancé because of tragic circumstances. The “fake” engagement may have been fake, but their chemistry and connection were off the charts sexy🔥🔥.

I enjoyed watching them live together and try their utmost not to blur the lines by falling in love.

There were some heartfelt moments too which added depth to their story.

I did not want their story to end it was that good!

**I received an ARC of this book from the author in exchange for my honest review**

I spill everything I have into her. All of me. My cum, my sweat, my body, my blood, my love. All of it is now hers. And it’ll stay hers. Even when she walks away from me.

Callan and Layla spend an amazing night together. They don't expect to see each other again though. So, Callan is extremely shocked when Layla walks into the class he is teaching. Now even though their relationship is very forbidden their bond continues to grow regardless of how hard they've tried to stop it.

I really loved this story! It's my first book by J. Saman but I definitely will be reading more! This book was #3 in the series and as great as it was I know I'd have enjoyed it more if I'd known the other family members. This story was sweet, fun, heartbreaking and hot. All these things made for an amazing book I won't soon forget. I highly recommend!

DNF. I really tried but finally gave up. I could not get into this one. I found Layla to be annoying and immature. I get she was 23 but she was also in med school and thought there should have been some level of maturity. Her "talking out loud" what she thought she was saying in her head was also annoying. Callan didn't seem all that upset of how he came to be a single dad as he was focused on having sex with Layla. He kept calling her baby girl which is such a huge turn off. She's an adult for Christ sakes. I made it 2/3 of the way before I decided I didn't care.

This book was absolutely fantastic - I haven't stopped thinking about this since I finished it days ago! Callan and Layla are the best couple in this series hands down IMO. Things to look for in this book:

One Night Stand to Lovers ✔️
Forbidden ✔️
Age Gap ✔️
Professor/Student Romance ✔️
Boss/Employee Romance ✔️
Fake Dating ✔️
Forced Proximity ✔️
Single Guardian ✔️
He Falls First (and falls HARD!!) ✔️

SERIOUSLY ALL OF THE BEST TROPES!!!

Rating: ⭐️ x ♾️
Spice Level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Angst Level: 💔💔

Callan and Layla meet one night after Layla is looking for an excuse to get away from someone who is hitting on her. And after talking, they were both instantly attracted to each other and they had one fabulous night together. Never expecting to see each other again. Until Layla walks into her college classroom and sees Mr. Hottie McSterious in the front of the room. And that isn't bad enough. When she walks into her internship at the hospital, who other than Callan does she see heading up the department she is working in.

Callan needs to fake a relationship after something happens in his life (I really don't want to spoil this part because I literally GASPED when this happened. I was not expecting this at all - so try and go into this book blind if you can because that shock effect was totally worth it). Callan asks Layla to be his fake fiancé and she agrees to help him out. With the rule that they cannot fall in love.

Callan and Layla keep getting thrown together and after awhile, they aren't able to deny what is right in front of them. And they decide to take a leap of faith and be together. And their chemistry was FIRE. I lived for the spicy scenes in this book because Callan is one dirty talker and I AM HERE FOR THAT!! But with everything going against them with Callan's situation and their positions at both school and the hospital, will they work in the long term and will Layla even want a relationship with Callan after swearing them off?

Callan and Layla are hands down my new favorite couple this series. I have always been interested in Layla, ever since reading her sister Amelia and Oliver's story in Doctor Scandalous (if you haven't read this book - I highly recommend!) and I was so happy to read her getting her HEA. I loved seeing Oliver and Amelia (missed the other Fitz siblings though!), but the best friendship I was excited to see was Layla and Stella. They both grew up in the Fitz's world and I loved seeing both of their lives now. But can we get a novella about Stella and significant other PRETTY PLEASE?!?

I could talk about this book all day! I loved it so much and looking forward to reading the next one in the series!

“No Strings, no last names, just a wild night I’d never forget. Until he walked into my classroom Monday morning. As my new professor.”

I loved this book. It hooked me right from the beginning because things started happening and I had not idea what was going to happen. I completely forgot that aside from being her teacher he was her “semi-boss” and I was like oooh no!
Callan is a 31 year-old attending physician at an ER, he has a group of friends who love him, support him and are always there for each other. He is the more serious one and the one who they know will get stuff done.
Layla is a 23 year old who just got out of a relationship in in which she basically got cheated on, if you ask me. Anyway, she has decided she is going to focus on herself, school, her career and not allow any distractions.
Callan and Layla meet in a restaurant they are both at after having a crappy day. Some ‘rando’ is harassing her about not giving him anything in return after buying her a drink and so she uses Callan as a way out. That’s the beginning of their meet and beautiful story!
I have to mention that they do get it on on day one hence, the one night stand and he ends up not only being her professor, but her semi-boss and a family friend. So needless to say there is a lot of hiding that needs to be done and a lot at stake.
Callans life unexpecteadly takes a turn when he becomes a “single-uncle/dad” and how Layla changes their world is awesome. This part of the story is so good. It’s heartbreaking and it had me all in my feels as a mom but you know there is healing coming and its awesome. I can sit here and write the whole story but I will let you experience it for yourself.
I love that Callan, as strong a man as he is, is total mush for his little girl and his feelings for Layla i swear are so palpable.
One of my favorite scenes with Layla was when she has that discussion about going through with Callan’s proposed plan, I felt there was a lot of emotion and communication, I could feel her working out those thoughts and feelings and it was so well written.

Callan and Layla are hoooot!! 🔥 I love them together and Layla has not inhibitions and loved how free she was. I am definitely reading the back-log to this series because all the characters were awesome.

This book was just too good! I absolutely love this series by J. Saman and this book just was the perfect forbidden romance! ❤️

Callan & Layla meet one night at a bar and hit it off. They spend the night together, but Layla sneaks out in the middle of the night. It isn’t until Layla walks into her class the next week that she runs into Callan, who happens to be her new professor. They say they can’t be together because no only is he her professor, but he’s also her boss at the hospital. Even with those obstacles, they can’t deny the pull towards each other. Unfortunate events happen that leave Callan to care for his niece Katy and in order to gain custody of her, he needs help from Layla.

I loved everything about this book. From their fake relationship to the forbidden aspect of it, it was just amazing. Callan & Layla had this instant connection that they couldn’t deny. Layla was burned in her past, but Callan made her feel loved every step of the way. This book also had no third act breakup which was amazing! It was so well done and I cannot wait for Asher’s book next! 😍

I loved this book SO MUCH. It's easily my favorite of the series, seeing how this was basically a gender reversal of the plot of Doctor Scandalous. I fell in love with Layla in that book, so when it was announced that she was the leading lady in *this* book I just couldn't wait to have this in my grabby hands.

Layla and Callan come together (winks) in the most unpredictable ways, and even though they have every reason not to be together, they just can't turn off their connection. And when Callan's world is flipped upside down and he needs Layla's help, they both realize just how special their situation is, and how they will both do anything to keep it. Just cue all the feels!

Like I said above, I LOVED Layla's arc, and how she was so grateful to return the opportunity to change a little girls life just the way her sister changed hers. Plus the way Callan fell first and did everything possible to keep her? Just YES. And there is 🌟NO🌟 third act breakup!!

Do yourselves a favor and one click this amazing romance now. This is definitely at the top of my list of favorite reads of the year!

**I received an ARC of this book and these are my honest opinions **

Going into "Irresistibly Wild," I was cautiously optimistic. Layla Fritz, a beloved character from J Saman's Boston Billionaire Series, was making an appearance in the Irresistibly Yours Series, which I hadn't been enjoying. However, the author managed to do right by this character, and I was pleasantly surprised!
Overall this book had great chemistry. There was some shock value with how our hero Callan becomes the guardian of his niece Katy, while it does mirror the heroine's own tauma, I am not sure it was needed to add to the connection for the characters. It kind of throws you out of the story for a bit. I also think that the author uses some trendy pieces that just felt out of place. ( random nipple piercing I didn't quite get).
Over it was a good read and it was nice to touch base with some of my favorite characters in this world.

This book did need content and trigger warnings and is sad that the author chose not to add them in.

Fun, sexy and heartwarming! I really enjoyed this romance.

Lylah and Callum share a meet cute at a restaurant and share one incredible evening together. The following week, both are surprised when Lylah ends up being a student in the college course Callum is teaching.

These two characters have amazing chemistry that translates into some of the best spice I’ve read.

It’s not just a spicy romance though, it’s a heartfelt story that will warm your heart!

• Professor & Student
• Workplace Romance

“Give yourself a moment to imagine the irresistibly wild notion that I could be right for you, and you could be right for me, and we could be it for each other.”

Callan Barrows is my new book boyfriend ! He was perfect. He was incredibly honest, straight forward, he would do anything for his niece Katy and he fell so hard so fast for Layla Fritz.

Callan and Layla met unexpectedly one evening when Layla needed a fake date to get out of a creeper hitting on her. They immediately hit it off but after their one night they realize they are more than connected. Callan is Layla’s new professor at med school and she is working with him at Mass General.

When tragedy strikes and Callan gets custody of his niece,Katy, it becomes impossible for Callan and Layla to stay away from each other. Layla formed an immediate bond with Katy and is determined to help Callan anyway she can.

Katy was a hilarious 6 year old! I also loved the girl gang of Amelia, Stella and Octavia although family they each had such different perspectives of the situation and were great. Also, the entire Central Square crew was great and I am so happy that Asher is next because he got a lot of time in this book.
Thank you @jsamanbooks for the ARC!

Omg. I’m not usually a “single dad romance” kind of girl, but this is not your typical “single dad” situation… LOVED this book. Took a chance on it & it turned out to be my favorite of the 3 books in this series so far! I couldn’t put it down.

I was so excited for this crossover between the Doctors series and Irresistibly Yours series! Young Layla from the first Doctors book is finally getting her story and it’s a fake fiancée romance! Talk about a fun coincidence!! But this time she’s in the position to help, not only little Katy, but also Callan.

Layla and Callan do some stupid stuff for all the right reasons, but you can see the repercussions coming for miles. But there are definitely some twists that you’ll never see coming, too. I love that Saman used her medical knowledge to really make the medical parts of the story meaty and interesting.

This is a story that will pull on your heartstrings one minute and have you blushing the next. Callan is very good with his ehm, descriptive language and there is also a little booty action. These two drive each other wild in the very best way and I was so excited to be along for the ride!

I love me a good forbidden romance and this one is terrific.

In a book that has stuck with me for days after I finished it, I can highly recommend it. It stands alone, but the characters do come from previous series. I do like Callan and Layla as a couple, great characters and better chemistry. Right from the first chapter, I was hooked; the surprises and unexpected turns make for a fun read.

Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.

Such a hot, dirty read😈. I'm all for the student/professor love story; the way Callan and Layla's relationship developed was so fun and sexy BUT the ending was too rushed, far fetched and predictable!!! I wanted so much more from it! I will definitely be reading the other stories though. I have a feeling I'm going to be hooked.

3.5 stars

It was a bit too simple for me, the writing was great sometimes and then things super obvious happen and I was like "arrf seriously?".

I liked their first night together, I enjoyed the prof-student trope but the insta-love was too much, there was no tension and that's what I enjoy the most in a romance with a forbidden love trope.

The story around Katy was quite good but once again, missing something.

Overall it was a book I enjoyed reading, but it felt a bit superficial.
