I purchased this fragrance when it was released. I liked it when I spreyed it on paper at Sephora, but then I wore it a few times on my skin and wasn’t impressed, and sometimes I even disliked it.
I recently decided not to spray fragrances directly on my skin anymore, because the smell changes so much depending on my mood, stress levels, physical activity and so on. Now I spray them on my hair and clothes only, and the smell is much more consistent so I know what to expect from a fragrance during the day.
With this approach, I gave this fragrance another chance, and I have to say that I absolutely love it when it’s raining or cold because it feels soooo comforting. During hot days it’s heady and too sweet. I would recommend it during the day, in winter or autumn.

Snow1809

I don't like it. It smells sickly sweet like Escada Sunset Heat (minus the scents of papaya, honeysuckle and mango). The first time that I took a sniff of a test paper, it smelled really good however it was a purchase I still regret till this day. This is the only MJ perfume that cause irritation on my skin. I had horrible rashes which later turned into a big carpet of blisters where I sprayed it. Had to see the doctor because of it 🙄🙄. As the perfume dries down on my skin I get nothing but overwhelming sweetness. It doesn't bother me but I wished Sunshine really made me feel good.

This is the fifth Daisy Love perfume I have picked up in the last couple of weeks (only Spring left to complete my set), and this is just as fun, light, and sweet as the rest. A bit different with the citrus twist, but a lot of fun. Lasting power is, as usual, not the greatest, but honestly I don't mind re-spraying every couple of hours. This just...makes me happy.

I love this fragrance and wear it all year round. It's a lovely juicy citrus that lifts your mood and wakes you up with it's zestyness and stays sweet and happy all day. On my clothes I can smell it the next day so it has some serious staying power.

Sunshine in a bottle!

violetstorm

so decided to put this on today & it instantly put a smile on my face :) its like sunshine in a bottle :) cheery uplifting zesty fun a daisy winner :)

This one pulled the ole switcheroo on me! It started out lovely and sweet, soon drying down to a musky/alcohol scent. There was no hint of sweetness left after about an hour. Very disappointed seeing as how Cloudberry is one of my favorite scent notes (and so few fragrances have it!)

Mariyamokshina

It has the cloudberry undertones but something about it’s opening is like herbal medicine and is t pleasant.

MaxieF

This is everything that I wanted D&G light blue to be. More girly and sweeter. A bit synthetic but I like that it kind of smells like a barbie.

dglightblue

Love sunshine, winter test, skin

hmmm, i dont think its the same as the other Love scent... this one has a bit of an unusual beginning and middle, i have two of these Love scents already.
Love Daze was sweet in a lolly way + warm, im glad i tried it because im not looking for that type of simplistic sent, this one was different, its not a s sweet and rose-ish sherbet fresh as the other two Loves i have.

this is bright, not fab lasting power... overall a bright clean freshie with some fruit and florals hiding in there

Artio

I love this fragrence but it smells dusty on my skin which is unfortunate.

Amac24

I really like this one a lot, it's such a nice twist to the original Daisy Love.. citrusy top notes with the original dry down you can tell that they have the same fragrance DNA.

Lucid Dreamer

FireFlySF is wrong. If you're choosing between this and Daisy Love, get Daisy Love. It's much nicer. This is still a nice fragrance though. Very different and pretty smelling. The bottle is gorgeous too.

epiprocta

Not a fan of citrus, but this smells of literal sunshine.

MoonInAquarius

On first wiff, this smells kind of like a creamier gourmand of DG Light Blue. I like it, but couldn't really afford the cost to actually get it. I would love it as a gift perhaps. Perfect for Spring and Summer.

EDIT: got this at the Macy’s scent sale - sunny and warm like a citrusy skin sweet woodsy scent with just a disappearing hint of cream or sorbet.

UPDATE- there is ZERO scent or hint of D&G Light Blue once this hits my skin. All driftwood and musky musk - like a typical Coty musky fragrance.

UPDATE2 - The spritzer on this one annoys me. I got this from Macy's and I know it was legit, but every time I hold this one and try to spray it more than once, the nozzle moves **slightly** UGH. And it's just like a PUFF of a cloud so I can't really directly apply this one. Over-spraying isn't as bad as I thought with this one b/c the frag is super low sillage with weak longevity. That might be a deal-breaker for some folks.

UPDATE3 - I cracked and lost my patience with this one. Returned it for my money back. After a few weeks, I couldn't even smell this. :(

This fragrance seems like it would be a fruity, fresh one but it has a gourmand quality that I can't quite put a finger on. I definitely smell the citrus but it's not a grown up fresh, zingy tart citrus like, say D&G Light Blue. It's more of like a lemon cookie citrus. It's very, very sweet. I love my sweet fruity perfumes! Just look at my reviews/favs/loves. But this is borderline nauseating. So synthetic and overly sweet.

KylieBooFace

Smells like citronella on me. *sadface.* I have yet to find my match in Marc Jacobs perfumes; they usually have a bitter/chemical-y aftersmell that turns me off.

SaraX

To me this is clearly a summer version of Daisy Love. This is slightly fresher, more citrucy and less sweet then Daisy Love - thus better suited for hot and humid summer days.

I already own the original Daisy Love (among other "Daisies") and for me this one is not worth acquiring, so clear are the similarities between this one and Daisy Love.

Further, should I really need a summer version of Daisy Love, I will be happy to use all my other MJ "Daisies", which all are in my opinion much more refreshing and more suitable for summer use than this one, since this one still has quite a strong sweet note in it together with a strong musky note.

If you don't have any MJ "Daisies" yet, you might wish to go ahead and purchase this one just to try one. Yet I think there are much better options to start exploring with among them (my favourites are the "Twinkles" series, as I love the creamy violet note in them).

raiza1990

I don’t like this one. Smells fruity, flowery sweet and warm, but it is weird. Nothing special about it. I will pass.

lmwimsatt

I don't care for this one but its better than the original daisy love

lmwimsatt

Ya I take back what I said about them all smelling identical. I didn't give this one a fair shot. Just sniffed from the bottle. But hey I dont care for daisy love or dolce garden so I guess no love lost there... My apologies for the incorrect review

JenJones28

This doesn’t smell like the original to me. It’s worth owning both. I think the notes are not correct, tho. This reminds me of Dolce Garden but less synthetic. By the notes I expected it to be a sharp citrus burn but it’s not. It’s very sweet and kind of gives me a sun tan lotion vibe. There’s a lactonic sweet ness that makes me think I’m smelling coconut but I don’t see that listed at all. Longevity and sillage are moderate. Sweet, but slightly less sweet than the original.

lmwimsatt

You actually want them to smell like the originals???

jovejove

Well I hope so since they’re limited editions of the originals

lmwimsatt

They all smell exactly like the originals.
