At once green and dry - which melds very nicely and smoothly into the quality, honest-smelling citric-herbal facet of the olibanum that's at the base of all the house's formulas. Works really well as a health-food-shop-style freshie in an un-cliched, homespun-hippie kind of way. Strong sense memories of a Moroccan-style mint tea that's been freshly brewed, but made with dried rather than green mint leaves. Mate, though? Well, kind of, but it's not quite as clearly outlined or distinctive as in, say, LV Cactus Garden - although the Olibanum treatment is infinitely cheaper and more accessible. Fig not a major player for me here, and definitely not an overbearing fruity swell. The green phase does ebb disappointingly quickly, though; most of the tang and sap has diffused in under 2h, although the frankincense hangs around much longer, for a respectable 6-7 on skin. As with all of the line, it's subtle and discreet in presence. Would certainly be at its best in warm to hot weather; a little too low-key to shine in the cold. Kind of makes you feel "it's good for you", which may not be the fully luxuriant treat you want; but a sincere and worthwhile effort.

I don't get any tea here. Just a smoky aromatic greenness. Gets a little fruitier on drydown. For a true fig tea scent, go for Nicolai Fig Tea.

Love it, fresh aromatic scent that you can wear all seasons. Can't smell the mint, just fig tea

Great mint tea scent. (I get mint as much as mate and more than fig). It's a bit weak, but man does it layer with the other Olibanum brand scents well. It turns the Vetiver fragrance from something that almost aggressively grassy into a fully versatile freshie that's simultaneously cozy. It similarly fills out the Cardamom scent. So while it's a like on its own, it's a love for how well it plays with other.
