Goddess by Burberry is a Aromatic fragrance for women. This is a new fragrance. Goddess was launched in 2023. The nose behind this fragrance is Amandine Clerc-Marie. Top notes are Vanilla, Lavender, Cacao and Ginger; middle note is Vanilla Caviar; base note is Vanilla Absolute.

“Fragrance has always been a great love of mine, and I am fascinated with the power that scent can have and the way it can immediately transport you to a specific time and place in your life. Being allowed to become an ambassador for the new Burberry fragrance feels particularly special and personal.

To me, lionesses represent female unity and strength. They are confident and move together. Much like them, we stand on the shoulders of the women who came before us and those who bolster us throughout our own lives. To me, this image is a real source of empowerment.” - Emma Mackey, Burberry Beauty Ambassador

Burberry unveils the new Burberry Goddess Eau de Parfum, a unique aromatic fragrance for women. The launch is supported by a campaign featuring British-French actress and new ambassador for Burberry Beauty, Emma Mackey.

The campaign presents a story of self-discovery inspired by the collective strength and power of the pride of lionesses. Created with live footage of lionesses in their natural environment and the latest CGI technology, Burberry creates an imaginary world where Emma Mackey and the pride come together as one.

Embodying the spirit of the Burberry Goddess Eau de Parfum, Emma channels the strength of the pride, igniting the power within to discover her inner confidence and ascend the peak ahead of her. Echoing Shygirl in the overlaid vocals, ‘one of me, but I’m not the only one, we are many burning like the sun’, the lionesses represent the collective power of female strength and support and the fact that together, we can all discover our inner goddess and achieve the extraordinary.

A unique gourmand aromatic fragrance led by a powerful trio of distinct vanillas. Collected by hand, the beans dry in the sun for five to seven weeks. They are then stored in wooden boxes to mature and develop their sweet signature aroma.

“My initial goal for Burberry Goddess was to expand upon the common use of vanilla to deliver a new kind of rich olfactive experience. For this purpose, I used three distinct types of vanilla extraction. The first is a vanilla infusion, which provides the brightest, woody vanilla possible. Then I used Firgood™ , also known as vanilla caviar, for the first time in a fragrance. This innovative new ingredient adds a sweet, rich, and animalic vanilla. Lastly, vanilla absolute is darker and richer, enhancing the fragrance with a mysterious, milky aspect."  - Amandine Clerc-Marie, Master Perfumer.

During the process of creating the perfect vanilla accord, the precious vanilla was wrapped with notes of bright Lavender Diva essence from Provence and earthy notes of cocoa and ginger roots, creating an aromatic balance to each vanilla.

nicholette

Very ginger-y. It takes over all the other scents. They could have dialed that back by 90 percent and this might be tolerable. As it is it has kind of an "airwick/dial" scented bathroom at an cheap dirty asian nail joint kind of scent. Like you washed your hands with antibacterial dial and deeply regret it on the way out kind of scent.

Erinlu

I love everything about this perfume. It's going to become my signature perfume. I have no words to describe it, I simply adore it.

Thunderthighs2023

On first sniff the lavender is prominent but five minutes in the vanilla unfurls and the ginger giving it a very cozy, sweet vibe. The cacao enters later but the lavender does not disappear completely. It is still present, lifting the fragrance and I love how it blends with the vanillas. Love. Absolutely.

borka01

One of my favourites! Long-lasting and my clothes smell of it even after 24h. A lovely blend of vanilla and lavender, although I was expecting more vanilla. The 1st note is the lavender, then the vanilla unfolds. Cozy, spicy, and warm.

russianprincess98

i was expecting a vanilla bomb but on me it was just green/earthy smelling... with a hint of vanilla :,(

Aliebling

Intense dislike - by the notes I should love this but I can’t pick them out and it just smells like generic drugstore perfume. Heavy and oppressive; no resemblance whatsoever to the beautiful floaty Mon Guerlain.

loveofparfum

There's nothing special about this perfume but i don't know why i wanna put this on every day. It’s vanilla bomb but very suitable for every day use. Not overwhelming. I love the bottle. It’s basic but so pretty. Longevity is pretty good actually. But sillage is definitely moderate.

FabricatedFashion

Beautiful and well priced perfume. It is not top notch, but extremely likeable.

faelivrin

the reviewers noting that the ginger dominates this scent are right, though i believe it's something people tend to be more sensitive to. i love that about it, it lends it a juicy, cool tang that crisps the composition. i like ginger, i love it paired with the extract-like vanilla and cologne lavender. i think the ginger makes this bearable, and i don't typically like vanilla-- in fact, i destashed mon guerlain, a "similar", but far more resiny and less fresh scent. i mostly get ginger and lavender with a tone of vanilla tying them together. if you're laboring under the delusion that it'll be a vanilla girl scent for the vanilla girls, i have to apologize. this is a vanilla scent for vanilla's ops. for the girls who prefer floral or aromatic scents, that want a sweet pretty vanilla but fear smelling too much like a cupcake: this might be one that'll work for you.

vanillary29

I am a hardcore vanilla girly and I was fully expecting to fall in love with this, but that just didn’t happen. I get no vanilla from this — just a shampoo-like lavender and ginger with some sweetness. It smells clean and warm but doesn’t last, and there is no vanilla to it. I’m a bit disappointed but glad I only purchased a travel size. I’m hoping that Burberry comes out with an intense version with a more pronounced vanilla note (kind of like what YSL did with Libré intense).

dlilla

One of my biggest disappointments ever. I bought into the hype, knowing it may not be the same for me, but really hoping it would be.

The ginger overtakes everything. And somehow, (maybe the lavender pairing?) it smells more like a strong cedar to me. I get no vanilla, no lavender, just a very spicy cedar-y ginger. From start to finish. It's something I'd prefer on my husband but even then it would be too linear. It actually reminded him of his cologne. It's nothing new and amazing. It's no vanilla lavender dream cloud.

:( I am so envious of anyone getting any vanilla out of it.

Rosiewebber

It’s a nice safe floral-vanilla. For me it’s like 60/40 Donna born in Roma/Mon guerlain. Easy to wear, feminine, not too sickly sweet, not too floral.

LeahBear

Crowd pleaser. Easy. If you’re a high school teacher you will get students complimenting you. Its nice. Not headache inducing, not overpowering. Safe.

leautheone

it is a synthetic vanilla scent almost like a mist. it fades away quickly, nice, suitable for general taste but nothing special. okey for summer, poor for winter. it opens as a nice feminine perfume and then lavender comes to scene that makes it a little bit unisex for a while. finally boom it is a vanilla mist and it fades away.

EmilyStathopoulos

I really dont like this one i love vanilla fragrences but i get no vanilla from this to me it smells too earthy like dirt i get no sweetness or any vanilla just dirt

ConstanceMeow

Absolutely a love for me!
On/to me smells like a vanilla cookie or ice cream with chocolate chips. I can’t stop smelling my wrists ❤️

wondervalley666

Lavender is the answer, for many people it's a note associated with men's fragrances and aftershave
No need to write those long essays here to discover this simple answer

Another question that these days everything is "gender neutral" or better to say - unisex, so men are wearing sickly sweet fragrances and women are ready to pull off oud heavies etc

deancatcher

My first expensive perfume purchase after buying a sample of a few Burberry perfumes. Goddesd was my favorite. I adore the vanilla and I get plenty of compliments when I wear it. It's beautiful, mature, but not old. No regrets here.

icerise

I asked the saleslady to spray it on my tester paper, and we both let out an “OOOH” to the smell. Apparently she hadn’t smelled it before and was pleasantly surprised, as was I…

I wish that the notes stayed that way with the lavender, ginger, cacao and vanilla fusion. It smelled so different. It had such a uniqueness and presence about it. As I walked around the store and allowed the perfume to settle, it started to nauseate me. I love vanilla, but it smelled a little boozier than preferred and too cloying for me to handle.

It was just an amplified vanilla smell. It’s true what another reviewer said—it just smells like cooking vanilla.

Juju7777

it’s the95% dupe of Mon Guerlain + a bit of the ooold Just Cavalli for Her?! Meh

AllisonNW

I like this just fine, but I have Mon Guerlain and Guess Seductive Noir and this feels redundant for my collection. They all have the same vibe to me and overall smell far more alike than dissimilar.

Pastfutures

It's pleasant, but also kind of boring vanilla. I can see why many people would like it. It's sweet and cozy. But I am not sure I would like to use it as personal perfume. I prefer it as a home scent.

NayeliC

This perfume is sooooo good. It is very sweet and definitely vanilla is the main note I get. I do get some lavender In the opening too. For me it lasts about 8 hours. Does not have huge spillage but definitely not the weakest either.

Ferra_Verto

Golden vanilla swirled with sweet lavender extracts and sweet cacao powder.
Very warm & inviting, feels like being wrapped in a golden blanket.
Every season save summer, too hot for a scent like this. Tried my sample overnight and I could smell it on my pajamas and linens this morning.

brlp

I only bought it bc I wanted to add another perfume to my burberry collection, and I’m very happy with this one! This is a very simple vanilla (currently the simplest vanilla I own) in a good way. I wouldn’t have bought it if it wasn’t burberry bc it’s too simple, but I thought it would be perfect for layering.
It does not smell like mon guerlain AT ALL. I own mon guerlain and I’m smelling them side by side rn and mon g is much more complex and sweeter than this. However I think it would be ok to blind buy this if you’re looking for a REALLY simple vanilla and you like mon g. Also, layering this with mon g is amazing! Dare I say this smells more like donna born in roma, or even libre le parfum than mon guerlain. But still different enough to have both born in roma and this with that subtle lavender twist.

Nonn/4

General vanilla + cacao scent but does what it does very well, I think this is a top 3 in the category. The vanilla smells of a quality pod instead of the cheap extract I come across in a lot of other scents, the lavender and ginger give it a lighter air, and the cocoa isn't overwhelming.
On my skin I got more cacao instead of vanilla which is a little disappointing but resulted in a pleasant chocolate-covered raisin/date smell. I really really wish the projection was higher, I can smell it on myself perfectly fine but had trouble smelling it on others. Scents like this usually give me a massive headache but this was a winner! Definitely recommend sampling on skin first

SoheePark

I genuinely dont get static gourmand fragrances and cannot comprehend why this perfume is SO popular. It is just plain cooking vanilla.

Gladys&Glynnis

Sophisticated and chic. Goddess is a mildly spicy, warm, expensive-smelling vanilla that is not at all cheap, synthetic, or cloying. This is not a cupcake vanilla. And it’s not juvenile. I typically loathe lavender (YSL Libre is a scrubber for me) but it works well here as an aromatic floral to balance out the sweetness of the cocoa, which could otherwise take this scent to cake-land. BG layers well with 7 Virtues Amber Vanilla, another “hotel lobby” vanilla fragrance. I think this is a scent that should be sprayed on skin and given time to develop in order to feel her full potential. She doesn’t perform well on paper.

Micarls

Gorgeous, stunning, love at first sniff. I've been wearing it every day for about 2 weeks now and I still can't get enough of it. Not complex but still interesting. It's pretty airy and light to me personally, but I can see how it would be overwhelming for those who aren't fans of the notes. I love Mon Guerlain, and although these definitely aren't the same, I feel like if you like Mon Guerlain you'll like this too.

vanillabeanshampoo

Like with anything loved, this does get a lot of excessive hate. This is a spicy vanilla, non generic, with a potent ginger and some lavender to round out the sweetness. The cacao pops up on the skin the most, making this smell almost like a chai drink. This would be perfect for fall but mostly inoffensive on a day to day basis.

faunwand

This fragrance exudes a strong, generic vanilla gourmand-like scent but it oddly stings my nostrils. There's a spicy undertone that eludes identification. Ultimately, it's a pass for me.

gmstrack

Goddess by Burberry is proof that the lavender and vanilla combination seems to work for everyone else but me. I enjoy vanilla with other notes and I enjoy lavender when combined with other fresh herbal accords, but there is something about the lavender-vanilla combination that makes me nauseous. That being said, Goddess is definitely crowd pleasing and I can see why the notes were chosen. The fragrance dries down to something between Alien Goddess and YSL Libre minus the white floral.

It's ok, but not for me.

Pipasmatosferreira

I tried it yesterday at Sephora and the result was disastrous... never before have I felt such an immediate compulsion to vomit as with this perfume! I like ginger, vanilla and cacao, I can identify each of these notes in GODESS and the effect on me is totally repulsive! I'm quite condescending towards perfumes that are "unloved" by the majority... I like the discontinued (and hated by many) Figment Woman Amouage. But this? I can't stand it... the effect is visceral!

beautyandbooks

An easy reach for me! It's a lovely warm vanilla, but not overly sweet.

Melissaracheal_

I really like the smell of this perfume but I have to be in the mood to wear it, and if I am not in the mood it can make me feel a bit nauseous. It's a real unique vanilla perfume though, none of my others smell similar to this!

Nicola_Six

I found this sickeningly, nauseatingly sweet. Like vanilla drenched in caramel, with no relief from the sweetness. I barely smell lavender - it’s not like Libre where the lavender is more pronounced and provides more balance. For Goddess, it’s sweet all the way through, from the very strong start to the sad disappearing finish; I say this because while the initial spray is powerful, with strong sillage, by the 3rd hour most of the smell is completely gone from my skin.

JackieM

Definitely not that close to Libre (even the Intense, which is heavier vanilla), or even Mon Guerlain. I can see that they are in the same class, but I would not confuse them.

I'm glad to see that some of the initial weariness (and hate even) has died down and the reviews seem more thought out. I definitely believe this is a scent you really need to try a healthy dose of at least 3 times, also on your clothes, to get a good idea of. Also, if you're in a store with 30 other things around you, spraying them, passing them, other people spraying them, it's not fair enough of a test. Honestly almost every can push towards "generic" in this overwhelming atmosphere. This was certainly my experience. Having given Goddess enough solo time, I absolutely came to appreciate it. It's a warm, straightforward, but rich and classy everyday scent. Someone said fireplace and cashmere sweater. For sure!

In comparison, I think this much more quality and luxury leaning than the inanely named Tom Ford Vanilla Sex, which costs 3x as much as was released around the same time. This also lasts longer.

Jerseygirl28

This is the PRETTIEST VANILLA I have ever smelled. It’s not complex yet so well thought out I believe Burberry nailed this . It is so so pretty. It’s not too gourmand, fake, bitter, spicy, cheap none of that. It is I’m going to smell beautiful today and put on the prettiest vanilla and feel as beautiful as this smells. It doesn’t have many notes so it had me guessing could it really be a class of its own ? Yes!!! Yes it is. I can’t see anyone of any age ( except perhaps teens and younger) who likes vanilla not liking it. It’s strange you spray it and you can somehow tell is a Burberry fragrance even though it’s just vanilla, they made sure to put there finger print on this. It does not spell like MG ( I disagree, like others do as well) it’s the only vanilla Burberry will ever need well done . Try it you more then likely won’t be disappointed.

Caleb001

I LOVE this fragrance and can’t say enough good things about it. I disagree that it smells like Mon Guerlain I also wouldn’t say this is a gourmand just bc it’s vanilla based. This is what one of the influencers on tik tok refers to as a “Hotel Vanilla”. Goddess is easily in my top 3 fav frag and top 3 fav vanillas. If I had to describe it in 3 words it would be feminine, opulent, elegant. This smells like luxury. It’s so versatile I imagine you could wear this as the First Lady or just hanging by the fire place enjoying a cup of cider in your cashmere sweater. This fragrance is signature scent worthy and lives up to its name. I feel like a goddess when I wear this and plan to always keep a bottle. Burberry kept it simple yet classy and was able to create a masterpiece.

kruk666

definitely not my style, it came as a sample in vogue spain's may issue and i see it more as my mom's perfume style. too old fashioned for my liking but it smells good nevertheless.

StinkySwampWitch

I spritzed myself with the sampler at Sephora, and it was all spicy vanilla liquor to my nose, at first. The ginger was bright and biting, and the vanilla doesn't soften it, as it is also a very aggressive vanilla scent.

I smelled the tester of 7 virtues vanilla while walking around, and that is such a nice, soft, sweet vanilla. This is most definitely NOT that, which I LOVED! So, I bought it, and as I walked outside, the wind kept throwing the scent in my face, and I noticed how different it was from far away. Another softer vanilla shines through and cocoa, omg, the cocoa! It was so lovely!

I feel like this scent really lures you in, and once you get close enough, bites you with it's unexpected spicy note. Signature scent worthy. Goddess worthy, for sure.

karma_chameleon

Smells nice on paper, but on my skin I just smell straight vanilla and a hint of cacao. I feel like I have had 20 body lotions that smell exactly like this.

Lukretia

If you have Mon Guerlain EAU de Parfum Intense, you don't really need this.

Webbedecanter

A choking vanilla people-pleaser so that this generic product hit sales.

scentnut

I finally found the perfect vanilla! My chemistry agrees with Goddess so well and I even get a slight tobacco quality hours into the dry down. More feminine but a man could pull it off. It’s oddly warm yet fresh. The only time this wouldn’t work for me is super hot summer time. Reminds me of VS Bombshell Gold in the opening but that’s where the similarities end. As someone else said so well, it’s what I wished Mon Guerlain would have been. Sampled one day and bought a bottle straight away.

Hollyhock38

When I first i bought this I thought it was boring, but as I went on wearing it I liked it more and more. Its very classy and beautiful. I pick up lots of lavender then s beautiful vanilla that lasts and lasts. Each time I wear it my youngest daughter says "oooo you smell nice" il have to buy her a bottle

Blossomlove

I tried the travel spray and I didn't smell much lavender so I got excited for a more traditional, basic vanilla perfume. I got my bottle in the mail, opened it up and sprayed it and thought, damn, another Mon Guerlain? I already have the OG and two flankers including the Intense. It literally smells like a simplified, yet very well blended, version of Mon Guerlain. It doesn't have the floral notes like MG does and the vanilla is amped up, but it's pretty damn close. I'll end up using this to layer with. I can add more vanilla to this or use it in my freshie's to make them sweeter. It performs very well and has excellent longevity.

islandgirlmaranda

A soft caress, a gentle hug, a sensual kiss, this flows, it's soothing, soft, sexy, but cuddly, it's the color of melting gold, a warm, soft & gentle aromatic vanilla...this is perfection! 💕 Spray it all over like a body mist so it lasts all day. It's so soft you can't over spray it.

Ajlis

According to Fragrantica, this shouldn't be a fruity perfume, but to my nose it has a very fruity opening note. Perhaps it's the ginger that I detect? Personally, I find the opening overpoweringly sweet, very youthful and somewhat generic. However, as the heart and base notes unfold, my appreciation for this perfume grows. I like how the lavender and vanilla intertwine without either overpowering the other. The resulting combination is gourmand without being overly sweet. I also appreciate how the scent gradually evolves into a powdery skin scent. Goddess is definitely a high quality perfume, universally pleasing, an easy-reach. While it doesn't quite reach the heights of my favorite niche fragrances, it certainly stands out as one of the best designer perfumes I've encountered.

monipod

I've been wearing some amazing niche scents lately but they have only blipped on my teen daughter's olfactory radar occasionally. Burberry Goddess had her full attention and she commented without any prompting that it smelt great. And it does. There's nothing complex about the concoction. I wouldn't say it's mainstream, but it does have universal appeal (as opposed to niche appeal) so anyone from teens to their parents will enjoy it. I don't get a lot of ginger but it's that restraint that makes Goddess so easy to wear and smell. It has good performance though by the time it gets to the end phase, the vanilla isn't as unique as others. This is one I'll spray when I just want to smell good to everyone.

Yolis

I hated this at first because on paper and from the bottle it smelled almost lemony to me (and I am not a citrusy/bright scent type of girl). I'm guessing it's the lavender and ginger. BUT on my skin it's such a fresh sweet vanilla that's not like vanilla extract or bourbon or woody or similar to other vanillas I have despite this having an arguably simple scent profile. It is happy and easy and I could see this being great in any weather, any time of year. Easy reach for sure.

I've never tried Mon Guerlain but I do have Libre Intense which also has Lavender + Vanilla so I can contrast those. Libre Intense (which I got because Libre EDP was too sharp and unisex for me) is definitely fresher, more unisex, and more white floraly and smells more grown up and clean while Goddess is warmer and cozy and inviting. My skin caramelizes warm / sweet scents very easily and it does make Goddess sweeter than Libre Intense on me (which stays smelling like fresh and clean floral vanilla on me), but I don't hate it the way I would hate a gourmand or anything with a caramel note.

EDIT: yeahhh this is definitely an easy reach I find myself going to often. It just works for every occasion and smells so comforting and nice, I can't see anyone disliking this. Basic? You could argue that. But still better than D&G Devotion which is way too lemony.

Northernhello

I love Mon Guerlain, and this is somehow simpler version of it. Mon Guerlain can be too overpowering for me at times, and this Burberry Goddess feels a bit easier to wear in various occasions. This is definitely my new favorite!

ashblank

Smells like Play Doh on my skin, can’t get around it. Loved how it smelled on the test strip and in the bottle.

cloudsandreveries

I'm usually a light white florals person, I do not like the idea of smelling like dessert. However, after smelling this I could not get enough of it. I found myself craving vanilla and needing to smell this again. To clarify, this does not smell like dessert in the best way possible. There is a sharpness to it (from the ginger and lavender [note: I usually dislike lavender scents]) that diffuses away to leave a milky, smooth, sweet vanilla scent that I love. There is a certain level of sophistication that comes with this scent, a high-quality luxuriousness that I usually don't associate with vanilla scents.

Claudialopes

I smelled this and instantly fell in love. After smelling all sorts of frgrences, this offered a really nice deep and sexy vanilla. Unlike many vanilla fragrences on the market, these one smelled the most mature without being "old lady" there is something about this fragrence that offers some mystery to it...definitely the next fragrance on my list!

Kiksms

Does anyone have some suggestions of fragrances that could go well with this one? How can I layer it? I absolutely love this scent but it doesn’t last at all on my skin which is shame! So maybe with something else it could last a lil longer I don’t know. Please let me know your suggestions

glitterpens

This has quickly become my favorite scent. The opening is addictive, light, and aromatic. After an hour or so, it settles into a gentle and delicious vanilla that stays light and lingers well. My only complaint is that it doesn't often last beyond 4 hours but I have no qualms reapplying because then I get the stunning opening again.

Meli567

Not to ruin this for anyone, but the lavender in this smells really chalky and old man-ish. Like cologne, even. It's still a pleasant fragrance, but ultimately the lavender makes it hard to wear. I actually suggest trying other Burberry perfumes before you commit to goddess. You might find another you like better (like one from the Her line). Just my thoughts! I know this is a well loved fragrance. It's definitely praise worthy, but I don't think I'll ever buy it due to that chalky ass lavender.

ekin35

best women fragrance of burberry.

PRADALHOMMEINTENSEGOAT

top 3 vanilla frag oat. easily mogged its rival 'D&G devotion.

eva.daisy.88

This is such a happy warm vanilla that I can’t get enough of.
It is not a complex perfume, but it’s so intoxicating. I can literally smell the vanilla pods cut open on my cutting board when I’m baking.
Lasts for quite a long time, somewhere around 5 hours on my skin.

Fignace

I love Burberry Goddess! Its a soft vanilla scent that’s perfect for all occasions/weather. Its one of my favorites.

ezeb

I tried it from a tester bottle and my nose got primarily powdery lavender notes with spicy ginger top notes. I don't dislike it but wouldn't categorize this as a warm gourmand scent. It smelled more like a powdery/lavender/light floral vanilla to me - definitely not a 'sweet' type of vanilla which is usually my preference. The longevity is great, I'm still smelling it the next day.

dv_67

Absolutely fantastic scent. Simple as that. It's so beautifully mixed that I simply can't get enough of it. Never in my life I would have thought that I would like a lavender perfume, well maybe because it's more than that. Definitely not gourmand btw, in case anyone is wondering. It's more of a fresh vanilla to use every day. Honestly in terms of scent this is a 10 out of 10 and that's a rate that I usually don't give easily.

Now the performance, damn, it smells so good that I want to cry every time I wear it because it's so light. The projection is what? 4 out of 10? I hate how people can only smell me if they hug me or something. Longevity is not that bad, maybe a 7 out of 10. But yea, no sillage, no projection, and that's ridiculous given the price. I mean $170 for this performance? Really?

annikahuhd

When I first tested it, I was underwhelmed thinking "WHY do people hype this so much, Mon Guerlain is so much better!" Well, I ended up trying it at a store again (almost an empty tester bottle), and WOAH - I did a complete 180.

I like the added ginger, it gives it a little something extra, and the lavender is subtle (or maybe soft) enough. Vanilla is delicious and not too sweet. Overall a smooth blend, wearable for everyday but still kind of sexy, too! I purchased a full bottle ♥

Zic890

Totally agree with another recent review. This presents as not super special at first, but its not very offensive and can grow on you! Absolutely a grown up, classy, sexy gentle gourmand. On first spray, I smell the vanilla, chocolate and lavender, and then as the day moves on, I still get the lavender and vanilla combo, but even the chocolate comes back in on occaisonal wafts. Truly gorgeous, and I don't even like lavender otherwise. I think this will be a very winter/spring scent for me!

HellyKayden

I reviewed this a few weeks ago and said I wished the ginger was a little lighter. I’ve come back to this fragrance several times since and I think this ginger is actually really nice and adds a good touch. There’s so much vanilla and cacao I think it definitely needed something with a little spice for balance. And the lavender is so fresh it helps with the heaviness of the gourmand notes. This is probably going to be my signature scent because every time I wear it I can’t stop smelling myself I smell so good 😂

Zeta MX

It has a beautiful opening; I can pick up vanilla, lavender and a bit of coffee. I would justify the price point, and would have purchased 100ml, if that opening stayed for 3 hours. But after 1 hour it turns into the generic expensive smelling vanilla designer fragrance. After 2 more hours it turns into the beautiful vanille scent, though by that time the scent sits closer to your skin. Has a beautiful sillage. Most probably will get 50ml and layer it with something else.

Got a sample of this before I blew $150+ on yet another blind buy and at first, I thought meh, nice but not wowed. Then I went out to dinner at Chili's and kept getting the best Vanillic wafts. My husband- who never really comments on ANY fragrances of mine save for Choco Musk (my cheapest scent by far but he livesss for it, loves that shit) and he's like, "that's really nice". The server complimented me on it. It's now 2 days later and I've almost used up the sample and I'm definitely purchasing. It's sooo nice, gourmand but make it grown, sexy, and classy. Well done Burberry, another winner🏆

Mammajamma

I have only worn this twice, but for me it seems like YSL Manifesto (too lemony-bright-floral a vanilla for me) with an underlying deep syrup-like vanilla tone like Cologne of the Missions (a rich dark vanilla extract) so I guess if there truly are different forms of vanilla in this I can sense that. I’m loving the zingy opening but glad it smooths out afterwards. The fact that I can smell it with my wrists as far away as possible from my schnoz means it’s light/bright enough to be in the air around me while Most of my heavy vanillas are bound to my skin. I think it will be good to wear at the salon as I generally spray under my hair in the back (so if you’re following me to my station you’ll smell it but when I’m in front of my client it’s not strong). My clients generally only notice my perfume if they are huggers because I keep my sprays under my clothes so I don’t offend. I think it’ll be a great purse spray for a quick grab 🤗

I tried this at the airport and thought it was too strong and a bit generic , but a few minutes later it smelt amazing and I fell in love with it . Truly divine, it immediately envelopes you in a warm fuzziness.

I love the sophisticated vanilla notes, with a hint of spice, it is surprisingly really long lasting and a real compliment getter.

One of the best blind buys for women!

autumnblue914

This has really grown on me and I expect it will only get better with age. The vanilla is not juvenile and overly sweet and it isn't that artificial vanillin, it is a grown and sophisticated vanilla. Creamy, luxurious, relaxing. Vanilla for everything. All seasons, all occasions. Extremely comforting, so works as a bed scent also.

I'm not a fan of lavender, I associate it with laundry detergent and/or male perfumes, but here it really is only in the opening and then it's gone, so I don't mind it. And I like the spiciness from the ginger in the opening. Goddess has nothing to do with Mon Guerlain, Mon Guerlain has the lavender last throughout the entire wear (and it's actually the only female lavender perfume range that I like, gorgeous).

The samples of this aren't a reliable thing, the official sample I got from the store don't smell as strong or last as long. And it's not because they are a recent batch, I think it's simply because the sample spray is so much smaller. Try it from the tester bottle always.

naht

to me the drydown smells like a more rounded version of Gourmand Coquin

annuttu

Holy crap I love this

YoungJ

This is amazing perfume and i have no idea why people don't talk enough about it!! Love it so much❤️

bluepistachio

Sweet. I love the vanilla. Lavender vanilla scent done right. I want it!

floralfragrance

Something super nostalgic about this one.. Hot Couture! It reminds me of when I was in highschool, and my older cousin was wearing hot couture. This one of those perfumes that with the initial spray you think it will give you a headache, so potent and syrupy, but it fades into a sweet musky skinscent in a few hours (maybe not even that long) . This is not your clean elegant girl, not the goddess either. I wonder if the crowd is pleased.

FeleciaB

This doesn't smell like mon Guerlain BUT it has the same kind of vibe. Imagine Mon Guerlain with way less lavender, extra vanilla (it isn't a different kind of vanilla in my opinion as well) and a slight extra spice (the ginger probably) I really like it! If you like vanilla you should like this. It's not juvenile but also not too mature for younger people to wear. I only sprayed my wrist once so maybe that's why but my skin ate it up so thankfully I got the 1.6 oz instead of the 1 oz.

malake

I love this perfume, my sister gifted it to me and I couldn't be happier. This seems to have the same vibe as GFG for me (even if they're not the same at all).
For a vanilla lover this could definitely be a signature scent. My only issue is that it's super popular right now

HellyKayden

I love this so so so much. It’s so fresh and warm. I just wish the ginger was lighter because I don’t love spice but other than that it’s perfect. Also it lasts forever on me I saw people say it fades but I don’t get that at all. It’s the perfect perfume to wear before bed lol

ghoulish.loser

a very classy vanilla scent. not overly sweet at all, like most vanilla fragrances. it has a lovely balance of vanilla and lavender that makes it more adult (if that makes sense)

Isabella Therese

Vanilla is one of my favorite notes in fragrances, but it has to be done right. I hate the Play-Doh smell I get from Hypnotic Poison but I love the airy vanilla in Metallique or Mon Guerlain and the edible vanilla in Happy Dust or Vanilla 28. Just a reference to the types of vanilla I enjoy.
When I smelled Goddess for the first time I didn't like it. It had just been released and the bottle I tried at the airport was new. I couldn't smell anything but powdery lavender in it. Six months later I bought a travel spray, let it sit for a month and then I tried it on my skin and it smelled way better. Goddess opens with ginger and lavender, and it actually smells more fruity than spicy to me. The drydown is a really warm vanilla that reminds me of freshly baked cookies, but not the whole cookie, I get more of the crumbles that's left on the plate after you eat the cookies. I can smell textures, which might sound weird, but I smell cookie crumbles in Goddess. The texture I smell is a little "gritty", but not in a bad way. In the drydown I also get the cacao, and it gives the fragrance a bit of a buttery smell, so I guess it's more cacao butter than cacao powder.
I don't see any similarities between Goddess and Mon Guerlain, because the vanilla notes are so different to one another. Mon Guerlain has a smooth vanilla note that's almost airy, and it doesn't smell edible. Goddess has an edible, cookie crumble type of vanilla vibe to it. The lavender is also way more prominent in Mon Guerlain. In Goddess the lavender is very faint and stays in the background. I do love both fragrances, but for different reasons and for different occasions. If Goddess was a color it would be a golden yellow. Mon Guerlain would be a light pinky purple. The color of the juice in both bottles are actually spot on.
Goddess has pretty good longevity, I get 6-7 hours on my skin and forever on clothes. It also projects really well. 9/10.

ThetideGoesWithme

For a vanilla perfume this is an easy reach. The ginger and lavender ground it and add just enough to keep it from being too sweet. Great for office days or everyday but not loud or original enough for nighttime/special occasions.

This starts similarly to Libre, but like another reviewer stated Libre is strong and I am one of those that gets headaches from it. Goddess is more gentle, and doesn't affect me the same way. This is also more vanilla than lavender, furthering the divide between the two perfumes.

jxssicamidnight

As a lover of libre (these are in no way the same) but sadly couldn’t continue to wear it due to it giving me a huge headache so I am glad I stumbled across this!
It’s much more wearable for me and a beautiful addition to my gourmand vanilla collection for something different!
I find this really sophisticated and elegant smelling, not too sweet!

First spray I get the soft lavender and ginger, and on the dry down the vanillas and cacao really come through.

It’s so well blended and I really enjoy wearing it!

Saj_Shae

This smells nothing like Cacharel’s Amor Amor to me.. Do not blind buy this if that’s what you’re looking for.

If anyone knows a stronger version of Amor Amor or something incredibly similar please do tell…

Meredithe

It's a very nice fragrance not for girls but for women, but is it Godess-worthy? I don't think so.

Allthingssmelly

Goddess is nothing special for me. It reminds me a Mon Guerlain, but less fresh, more vanilla and weaker. I can see the appeal and it is a nice fragrance, but I cannot help compare to Guerlain which I think is better imo.

anamawsity

At first spray, I don’t get any of the vanilla. It’s just a sharp floral on my skin which I can’t stand. After about 30 minutes to an hour, it turns kind of pleasant because the sharpness fades and the vanilla starts coming through, though still overpowered by the florals. Then after another hour or two, it finally becomes vanilla heavy; it’s a completely different perfume after a few hours. That being said, the first few hours ruin it for me. It has minimal sillage and lasts about 6 hours. I saw some people compare it to D&G’s Devotion but I personally don’t see it.

Ayshin

This was a blind buy, reading from reviews hahaha 😅
One of the best vanilla note from designer line
very sophisticated vanilla
I won't say this is special, since i've smell similar notes in the past but SPL is good for price point

Make_It_Make_Scents

I bought a small sample to try it out. On paper initially I got lavender, but then nothing. :

On skin, again, lavender that dries down to a sweet, perfume-y scent. I thought it was okay, pretty...generic? but nothing to write home about. I had completely forgot that I dabbed it on my wrists until an hour or so later. I kept getting whiffs of it while typing at work and thought to myself OMG what smells so GOOD? So, the magic it's in the dry down for me!

This is vanilla, but a sophisticated, classy, bougie vanilla. The cacao and ginger add a bit of depth and warmth. I have all kinds of vanilla fragrances I've collected over the years that I have read people comparing this to (Bath and Body Works Lavender Vanilla, are you kidding me?), and no. There is no comparison to those at all. Among the closest I have seen is Mon Guerlain. They share a similar vibe but Mon Guerlain is not as sweet and I pick up on more floral in that than in Goddess.

Anyway, if you are a vanilla lover you need to try this fragrance. I ran to Ulta the next day to buy a full bottle and can very easily see Goddess becoming a go-to, signature frag for me.

jessyylovesglam

This was kind of a blind buy. I only bought it because I’m obsessed with Burberry Her Elixir so I decided to try Burberry Goddess. I’m glad I bought it! It smells like vanilla, lavender, a hint of cream and there’s this spicy/herbal note. It smells very elegant and luxurious! My only complaint is that it doesn’t last all day which is a bit disappointing considering the high price tag. But overall I love it!

azifah97

I was so in love when I got this gifted as I am so picky with perfumes but this has to be one of my favourite scents HOWEVER disappointing as it has very weak projection , lasts about an hour but she is sooo pretty

scnofthcrime

I keep testing this (I have a spray sample and this is probably my 6th time testing it) and wanting to like it, and I think I would like to smell it on others, but something just doesn't hit me right when I'm smelling this on myself. I usually like lavender when it gives an herbal bite to fragrances, but something about the lavender here reads as powdery and musty to me. On me this is vanilla and baby powder and I wish it was just vanilla on me. I keep coming back to this because the vanilla is so, so nice and versatile. It's the kind of vanilla that isn't too sweet so you could wear it in almost any weather or season without feeling like it's too much. The vanilla here smells quality, no fakey plastic vanilla here. But the dang powdery lavender! Anyway, most people seem to love this one so it's worth testing if you're a vanilla fan.

Maybe they'll make a flanker in the future without the lavender.

riorebelle

Kalau biasanya vanilla dijadikan 'figuran' dalam sebuah parfum, Goddess membawa vanilla sebagai peran utama. Awalnya agak skeptis bakalan jadi terlalu manis karena vanillanya dominan dari awal sampai akhir. Tapi ternyata saya salah.
Parfumnya simple gak berisik tanpa wangi fruity, woody, patchouli, musk, amber, tapi tetap tercium kompleks. *nangis

DanielaChz

I read somewhere that this is very similar to Amor Amor by Cacharel (my all-time favorite perfume) and decided to give it a shot. It is very similar to that, but creamier and longer lasting. I’m in LOVE

perfumepersian

I was really excited to get this and what a disappointment it is, for me.

The opening is absolutely stunning, but it lasted for less than 3-4 minutes and I couldn’t smell anything. Even if I could have inserted my wrist into my nose, I don’t think it would make a difference. Then I started to get a scent of the some notes that are Mon G-ish. After that it dried down and it smells like an unappealing, uninspired mens’ frag.

Don’t get me wrong, I like deep, dark scents, so I don’t shun frags that are marketed to men:

I just got hooked onto perfume over the past 9 months or so. Everyone’s experiences will differ and we like what we like and we should never not wear something because it’s seen a certain way or a majority of the reviews say that it is ___ (plug in whatever negative adjectives you want).

But for me this is a hard no…and I am sad.

begumnaz.yurekli

You mostly get vanilla and lavender of course, I don’t get people who can’t associate it with Mon Guerlain, it might not be a dupe but it REALLY has the same vibe. “This perfume reminds me of” part of this website helps us with the exact dupes as well, so that’s probably why people downvote. Strong scent (if you’re not one of those ‘sillage monster migraine inducing niche fragrance’ lovers) Vanilla is really THERE on your skin fyi. You get the lavender a little bit more on paper. Will be testing my sample many more times on the upcoming days.

Caroline D.

I've seen one or two reviews by men saying they loved this on their female partner, and one review by a woman (I think) who said it was not the most sexy fragrance. I agree with the latter opinion. It's nice though, and sensual, but maybe not particulary sexy.

Edit: I could still smell it on me towards the end of the day, so it has good longevity, on me at least, but by that time I really was getting annoyed with this particular take on vanilla (it's a bit bland, perhaps, without a whole lot of personality?), so I eclipsed it with Indian Coconut Nectar, a vanilla fragrance I really do like (smells a bit too much like marzipan but it's a bit boozy and has more personality).

Edit 2: Tried it again but it's still a big No. It smells too "sweet and pure" to me, and I almost find it a bit sickening. I prefer something that is more fun, joyful, juicy, etc. In my opinion, this fragrance is not a Goddess, it's more of a virginal lady in waiting. I would like to smell it on someone else, but I can't stand being surrounded by it for hours on end.

kyraagni

a subtle, more mature vanilla. it's sweet but not overly so, and i get the vanilla bean pod vibes with the slight woodiness. the opening was a pretty blend of herbal lavender with just a hint of ginger zing, and the drydown is much more intimate caramel.

TitaSofia

It's nice a perfume probably not for everyone since it's not sweet. I have a sample when I first smelled it, it was an explosion of Vanilla but when I read the comments I do smell the lavender too. I find it sophisticated, it's different and I think it would work better for come weather. I think it would a nice perfume to add to a collection for those who like to wear a different perfume depending on their mood.

kissabelle

Mature vanilla scent. First whiff smells like Gold Couture because it's so sweet with that caramel syrup vibes. I like that this is soooo smooth and well rounded because there is no patchouli. It smells exactly what the notes say - sweet vanilla, lavender, cacao, ginger. It comes on so thick and syrupy that it gives a caramel-ly kick. But surprisingly it's not as long lasting as I thought it would. I have to overspray before I can smell whiffs of it as hours pass. I have to say I would never have appreciated this scent in my twenties....now in my 30s I love this kind of vanilla when gold couture feels a little young and toffeeish for me.

wondervalley666

I wonder what has messed up everyone’s sense of smell? Covid? Bad diets? Staring at screens?

This smells nothing like any mens scent or aftershave scent. Absolutely nothing. If you think this smells masculine, you must have only spent time around men who wear women’s perfumes in your life. Or you haven’t spent time around many men at all. This is a girly vanilla bomb. It’s one of the biggest vanilla overdose girly scents imaginable. Yes it has a soft clean laundry-style lavender note, that dances gently under a monsoon cloud of sweet strong vanilla. Pretty straightforward, utterly gorgeous.

It was love at first sniff. Immediately ran to buy a full bottle. I’m in my 30s and honestly paused for a moment to wonder if it was too young and girly for me as it reminded me of an aromatherapy scent I used as a tween. Then I decided I don’t care, I wear what I want.

Absolutely love this one. Recommend it to everyone. Such a mass pleasing lovely scent.

Burberry scents of the past never appealed to me and made me smell like a drunk who bathed in gin. So glad they ditched the “drunk waspy housewife” profile they seemed to be geared toward and are going for more “pretty” and “gourmand” leaning scents. Hopefully they don’t discontinue this gem due to the negative reviews from the young girls who seem to hate every perfume unless it’s straight gourmand vanilla without a hint of anything else. Judging by years of reading thousands of reviews, it seems they all HATE all flowers, they think they all smell “like grandma,” they hate woods and think woods smell like pickles, they hate spices and think they smell like men. They like vanilla, marshmallows, cupcakes, and sometimes caramel but I’ve recently seen some younger girls tear apart a “caramel” scent because it “smelled like burnt sugar.” Lol I don’t even know where to begin… How boring not must be to have such simple basic tastes and to be so clueless you don’t even know what real caramel is.

Ignore the reviews from the tasteless and the basic. This is a simple, lovely, GORGEOUS perfume and anyone who isn’t extremely picky to the point they’re insufferable will love it, if they love vanilla and lavender, of course.

Side note: almost immediately I recognized this scent from 20+ years ago from the long discontinued/reformulated beyond recognition late 90’s version of BBWs Tranquil Sleep. The old spray bottle with the little glass gems inside. BBW still makes a version of it but it hasn’t smelled remotely close or performed a fraction as well in the past 15+ years, the magic is long gone from that one. This scent will scratch that itch if you’re longing for the original Tranquil Sleep aroma.

arajuna

Vanillic, sweet and deep, but reminiscent of a lot of men’s fragrances due to the herbal bitterness of the lavender and the sharpness of the ginger, which I get a lot of upon initial spray. I find this a very easy to wear and pleasant perfume suitable for a wide audience. Not likely to offend anyone, nor will it be cloyingly sweet due to its slightly masculine edge. Likewise, not likely to be very memorable either, due to the heavy focus on the vanilla notes. The vanilla is lovely and has a lot of depth, like the densest most delicious toasted Creme brûlée, but it is so common in perfumery these days that it doesn’t leave a lasting impression. Overall, this is a lovely scent worth trying on the skin, I personally find it sexy and mature and it does the trick when I’m in the mood for something not too sweet!

smellsgorgeous

I did not smell any vanilla whatsoever in this fragrance. I smelled a shaving cream type of scent which I am assuming is a blend of sandalwood and lavender. Sometimes with lavender, the synthetic version will tend to smell, smell more like shaving cream than herbal. I wish that I got the vanilla from this but I really don’t, I’m a little bit blown away that other people are smelling so much of it because I genuinely don’t smell even a hint of it.

Letmeregister

The opening is absolutely lovely, lavender with slight hint of ginger and a lot of vanilla. However, after a few minutes it just fades to vanilla. The longevity and silage are weak, so I don't think it's worth getting. If anyone has in mind a perfume that smells similar to the opening of this one then let me know. I tried Guerlain and for me it isn't similar. I can't smell lavender at all in Mon Guerlain.

jxssicamidnight

Ahh yes!! I love this, it is delicious and elegant all at the same time!

daniellecrowe

Its a sophisticated gourmand that manages to not veer over to sickly sweet or synthetic. Soft vanilla bean with just hints of lavender, chocolate, and ginger. Its nice.

It would be appropriate for all seasons. But I found it wore extremely intimate, had to really breathe in deep to get a whiff, and it did not last on me.

Thykes10

I get a very brief hint of spice and lavender in the opening but the vanilla quickly comes to the front. To me it is like a perfumey vanilla? Pretty sure it's the lavender that's giving this effect. The aromatic twist lingers even though it's not as prominent after the opening. It's a vanilla without being too gourmand which I appreciate. However, this only projected for like 30 minutes...then it was a skin scent but was basically undetectable by the 6 hour mark. I might have considered a bottle if this lasted better on my skin.

celi

I like how this smells initially... It is an airy and aromatic vanilla with some salty cocoa undertones. I don' t like gourmands, and I still really enjoy this take on vanilla. If only it stayed like that...after less than an hour it has already become pure bakery vanilla, not different from a 1000 gourmands already on the market.

K Sweetleaf

Love this but it's extremely close to Mixbar Vanilla bourbon for a fraction of the cost and I'm surprised that it's not listed on the "reminds me of" section...but 1 million is listed as similar??? I think not, like in what world ?

iloveparfume.a

The fragrance is not bad. But I don't think it's very feminine. The warm spices combined with the vanilla have a manly smell in my opinion. Kinda reminds me of JPG le male elixer.
Still a nice fragrance

Melis.t

Something smells very weird in the dry down. I have better vanillas compared to this. I don't see it being similar to Mon Guerlain which is a better scent compared to this.

Jolinxjojo

Super beautyful luxurious scent. Opens citrusy with a soft, slightly powdery vanilla. Not too sweet, not too fresh. But it doesn't last more than halv an hour. Super sad because the scent it so beautyful.

noseinheaven

I sampled this at the airport 😂 at first it seemed really strong like I’d have to apologize to the people around me but it mellowed out. Now 7 hours later I can still definitely smell it and it’s wonderful. Reminds me of my favorite L de Lolita Lempicka 💗

Zana1970

Yess..it is gourgess scent..butttt...disappears within 1 hour and is a skinscent! So test this out, pleaseee...you don't have nothing on a perfume like that, it is not 20€!

milkspace35

I am devastated that I can hardly smell Goddess, even on paper. The bottle design is gorgeous, and I want to add this to my collection, but not if I'm spraying it ten times and still can't even detect it. Such a disappointment because I have always been fond of vanilla, and I recently have been branching out to different kinds of vanilla. What kind of vanilla enthusiast would I be if I didn't have this absolute vanilla perfume?!

I'm still fighting for my life and testing it on my wrists every time I happen to encounter a tester bottle while I'm out shopping because I insist on having this pretty bottle design on my perfume shelf. It reminds me of Athena, both of the Greek goddess and the adaptation of Athena in Supergiant Games' roguelike video game, Hades. Maybe if someone has an empty, I could take it off their hands?!

FragranceL0ve

Weak performance, its a comfy fragrance but you can get the same from a vanilla body spray

Melis540

Son zamanlarda çıkan en güzel parfüm. Vanilyayı iliklerinize kadar hissetme garantisi veriyor 🦋

leyla_quiles

Mon guerlain is way better.
Goddess has no projection unless you bathe in it, no lasting power and something smells sccreechy to my nose the first hours.

dandelionsandfire

Made me nauseous. I was in search of a vanilla perfume that didn't only smell like vanilla, but more complex and heard this was one of them to check out.

This smelled like viva la juicy immediately after the initial spray for 2-3 hours, which made me feel sick and nauseous. The dry down was a lavender vanilla scent that smelled extremely close to bath and body’s lavender vanilla.

This perfume is too expensive to smell like viva la juicy and bbw.

mamiman

Smells like Viva la Juicy Gold Couture + lavender on my skin.

lauralizabeth

I feel like something is wrong with my nose - why do I get so little vanilla in this when everyone else seems to smell it? Why is it so sharp? Why does the opening smell exactly like Amor Amor?

SASQUE11

Great perfume, had it for a while but got to familiar in the market so gave it off. Suggest some new bangers

sassa7

I thought I'd love this based on the reviews, but it's not a love. It's not bad, just repetitive to me. I think it's better than Mon Guerlain, more girly as in more youthful. By its name and bottle I had different expectations, I expected an ethereal floral scent like the ones Estee Lauder creates, a Beyond Paradise clone or even a borderline tropical one, a Wonderlust Sublime clone, an Olympia one maybe or the VS Super Model type. I blind bought without checking the notes, big mistake. This to me is more like cozy mama bear hibernates in her cave baking gingery vanilla treats and drinking hot chocolate under a fuzzy lavender-scented blanket. The opening and first 30 mins smell dusty on me which I don't like, probably the ginger with the lavender combo as if the perfume has gone bad, and I was wondering where did I smell this before, well Burberry Brit! I'm not crazy about ginger & cacao together, but if you're into girly spicy/peppery warm cozy scents then this is really a winter-time goddess in that department. For instance I loooove Jolly Gingerbread village that everyone seemed to hate lol, only due to the green note and its masculine vibe, so I'm not into super warm girly ginger scents, that's why I got rid of my Illicit (Jimmy Choo), again a gingery honey-sweet scent. If it's warm and sweet it better be like Alien Essence Absolue. After 3-4 hrs the faint ginger-cacao-vanilla smell on my skin from Goddess is nice, but that I can find in other scents without the ginger.
As I mentioned, at first it smells very dusty to me as if it's gone bad (the stinky effect), just like Burberry Brit EDP does due to its pear note possibly (funny how I had bought two Brits as I thought my bottle was stale lol and that's the only part of Brit that I dislike), but Burberry Brit is so beautiful to me because of the lime/almond, a contradiction of warm and sour notes (I love ALL Brits basically) and I recently fell for 000 by Le Monde Gourmand which is like a lighter Burberry Brit skin-scent. Goddess is more syrupy sweet in the opening than Brit and very girly which many women will like. So we have a similar to Brit sweet spicy opening here and while Brit is more tart due to the lime, here I detect some tart fizzy sharpness too from the ginger contrasting the vanilla and the ginger effect remains throughout. After 2 hrs all I am left with is intense ginger/vanilla-cacao, kinda like ginger Cookies (not as spicy as Clinique's Cookies & Kisses though). The lavender is usually a bit salty on my skin and here it is too and reminding me of the salty lavender in Cozy Sunday Morning (Lavender, Vanilla, Sandalwood notes). I do like the lavender, though it is a lot more subtle here. I love Cozy Sunday Morning since it's sweeter without the spicy notes, and the lavender takes center stage while here it just complements the ginger, not a bad thing tho.
The initial vanilla outburst is reminiscent of a VS perfume like Dream Angel at first and later on the second vanilla waves render it just as warm and sweet as in Clinique's Cocoa & Cashmere (which I love) sharing the cacao & vanilla notes with the touch of spice (pink pepper there, ginger here), so I detect the same cacao warmth and same smokiness here from the ginger. Very nice, just repetitive. Cocoa & Cashmere reminds me of Fireside Flurries, only a lot lighter which has lavender too so quite the happy lavender/cacao spicy family here, but Fireside Flurries is so so much heavier than Goddess and the lavender almost bitter/burnt, (too intense as in Cozy Evening & Cozy Season), so comparing these two, I totally prefer Goddess being lighter and with the fizzy peppery ginger spice, a nice fresher element. When it comes to Cocoa & Cashmere tho, I prefer that one over Goddess. The sweet vanilla overload with ginger here makes me dizzy after awhile. If the opening was not so dusty on me I'd keep it. The projection of the drydown is very nice due to the smooth vanilla blend, but smelling my skin up close the ginger is overwhelming for me.

Sylketb

Its very nice, but not interesting. Smells very flat. Only vanilla

sntiago

Probably the only perfume i'd say is a safe blind buy for women. It's just a creamy cozy vanilla all throughout, with hints of spice(ginger) and cozy lavender in the beginning.
Its surprisingly long living, especially on clothes! You really can't go wrong with this one, it's inoffensive, simple, subtle, feminine, not cloyingly sweet.

I thought it was really generic at first but it was the only tester decant I had available on me for a hospital visit when I visited my parents because I left all my perfumes at home and had been gifted this decant in the store.
I was really surprised by the scents pleasantness, longevity and how it fades from a fresh-cozy vanilla to an absolute vanilla - so it grew on me! And my sweater still smelled of it days after.

It's nothing new (under the sun) but well done and a safe try and safe gift for vanilla lovers!

Sincerelyvictoria

I originally wants YSL Libre but went for this one because it was sweeter and more feminine. It’s my everyday scent, I love it!

glowingsand

wooow. warm velvety vanilla. for a perfume with 3 notes of vanilla it’s surprising not too sweet as you’d expect!! wasn’t that fond at first but it has really grown on me and I’ve seen myself reach for it a lot ❣️

Bobdasha28

Love love love this perfume!!!! Such a simple vanilla that just last long. It’s the exact description of vanilla. I don’t exactly smell the lavender but I think it’s an invisible note that just balances the vanilla out, as I feel if there wasn’t the lavender it would be a bit too overpowering so it’s a nice blend. I would say if you like vanilla you can wear it the whole year round. I wore it when I went on holiday in Australia where it was summer, I was prepared to only wear it at night as I was scared it would be too much but it wasn’t and I think that’s where the lavender played it’s part. It’s a comforting vanilla that lasts ages but still lets you breath and isn’t overpowering. Would really recommend if your not sure what perfume to get but know you love vanilla, I would say it’s quite a safe blind-buy too. Will definitely repurchase as a day-today perfume😮💨♥️

This one took a strange twist for me. Being a vanilla lover I was eager to sample it, but not being a lavender fan I was nervous. Well, the beginning is beautiful! The lavender is subtle and works well with the vanilla. I was about to put a travel spray of this in my cart when...ginger appears. And. It. Is. All. I. Smell. Now 😞. Why?! Why the ginger?? I *do* like ginger, but why add it here? I know my body likely amps it up, but IMO it ruined this fragrance. There is too much going on. I wish I could have the scent at the beginning 😔.

As a vanilla scent girl... I am IN LOVE.
Imagine going into a modern, cozy, minimal, luxurious home. You smell that creamy vanilla and a pinch of fresh lavender.
It feels dreamy. Might turn into my signature scent. It's not as loud as the usual sweet vanilla fragrances, which means it can be used in the warmer seasons too.
It matches my "theme" - a lady that takes care of herself, she's glowing, her smile is infectious, she feels like a hug and adventure at the same time. IT girl.

stephm42120

Hater turned into a lover. Always test on skin because when I first tried this, the lavender was super sharp on paper and it reminded me of men’s shaving cream. Fast forward to months later, and all I’m getting on my arm is a cozy, beautiful, comforting sweet vanilla with a dash of spicy lavender. I want a full size.

Received this for my birthday and I’m so happy. This is probably my favorite fragrance at the moment. Beautiful for special occasions and going out. I also find it versatile enough to use everyday, it’s luxurious and gorgeous. My boyfriend says it smells a little like honey. I wore this for my college graduation and the scent is still on my dress.

Mycoleman2800

I wanted this to be delicious and deep, but all I got with this one was lavender and vanilla. I get how this can be compared to Mon Guerlain (which I have) because of the lavender. However, the lavender smells fresher in Mon Guerlain. The lavender in Goddess is heavier probably due to the vanilla and cacao. I did give it a decent chance but it's just not what I am looking for. It does smell good just not for me. It didn't speak to my spirit lol.

CustardBunny

Wow it didnt take long for the vanilla to hit my nose all the way from the inside of my arm!
3 Vanillas in one perfume is insane and hits me as gourmand, but lets see how it fares.
So the first i feel is, ofcourse, Vanilla, its a nice vanilla and its what fills the air around me.
On a closer sniff with my nose to my skin, i get citrus, heavy citrus. Not specificly ginger just.. Lemon.

mermaidylady

I want to echo GirlofWow's review several posts below. What she said is spot on and exactly how I feel about this fragrance.

When I first came across it in stores and tested it there, I thought it was nice but it didn't excite me. I ended getting a full bottle for Valentine's Day and I've been wearing this perfume almost every day since. I'm really enjoying it!

Mon Guerlain is perhaps my favorite fragrance of all time, and despite all the votes here, I do not think they are that similar. They share lavender and vanilla, but that's really it. MG is denser, more herbal with a powdery edge. For me MG is strictly a cold weather 'fume. Goddess has a freshness to it thanks to the ginger. It's sweeter, more versatile, easier to wear. I love them both!

ina.rem

This perfume is really something special - feels complete, effortlessly smooth, light and full of subtle shades. It's more like a soft, calming veil. Lavender adds a gentle touch without overpowering. After all those bold vanilla scents, this one feels creamy, sweet and mild. It's got this light, soft, fluffy vanilla vibe that I just love. The bottle looks great too.

lunarambrosia

This is mass market gold. This is a fragrance that says "you can trust me because I'm warm, and smart." I treated myself to a travel size after realizing that it was the only perfume I hadn't tired of after going on a sampling spree for the past few months. I love the distant cacao note. Goddess is somehow warm and comforting but also awakening. Your senses feel more alert but with zero agitation. I think that many women will gravitate towards this one, eager to try on a mood that can be harder to find at this price point. Only criticism is the weak advertising campaign! Glad I decided I wanted this before I saw the ad :-)

AnlisaC

Funny I put on Delina this morning and I could smell it while I shopped and drove home. Thenput on Burberry Goddess ( caught my eye) just on my arm and my oh my, Goddess took over! Goddess told Delina it’s my turn NOW! So if you were wondering how the sillage of Goddess is…..hyper mode for sure! 😉

Imvanillababyy

This smells like a mix of Princess by Kilian and alien goddess by mugler, EXACTLY!. Last about five hours on me and that’s without doing a dab of Vaseline on the area before I apply it (cheat code to long lasting perfume). If you don’t like vanilla scents, stay away from this one, but it’s very subtle and not offensive/foodie at all. I paired it with bare vanilla lotion by Victoria’s Secret, and a vanilla dream body oil and it’s absolutely delectable, 8/10.

Buenabuena

Goddess easily became my signature scent, it’s so pleasant and exudes quiet confidence perfectly! She’s not attention seeking, but she surely makes an impression. Smells luxurious and gentle, in the opening you get the spicy ginger note which I wish lasted a bit longer, and then as it goes away you get the fresh lavender and creamy cacao notes, which then settle into a creamy vanilla. I didn’t think I’d like this because I’m usually not a fan of lavender, but it turns out I really like that scent in perfumes. Love it from beginning to end🥰
It lasts around six hours on my skin and I usually spray many times if I feel like I don’t smell it as much as I would like to since it’s so inoffensive.

Lilium86

Unfortunately, I feel the ginger note so strongly that it bothers me to the point where I have to rinse my wrists

Girlofwow

I liked this perfume when I first smelled it, but since owning a bottle I have found that I keep reaching for it every day. It's an easy grab when you just want to smell 'nice' without any challenge or mood to fit.

It's cozy, sweet, simple and warm. Lasting power I'd say around 3hrs so does need reapplication.

I don't think this smells like Mon Guerlain but it certainly feels like a similar type of fragrance. Burberry Goddess is sweeter, a lot more vanilla leaning and has very little trace of lavender compared to Mon Guerlain, in my opinion.

I sometimes think this smells a little like Juicy Couture - Viva La Juicy Gold but 100 times better. It's not groundbreaking but I really do like it a lot.

angelica4444

I have mixed thoughts about Goddess. When I tried in Sephora I was in love but when I purchased it my feelings changed a little. When I sprayed it the lavender and vanilla were prominent in the begging. I barely smelled the ginger note in my skin. After 1-2 hours it became addictive and amazing but when the 4 hour mark past then the Victoria’s Secret bare vanilla smell appeared.
The best use for Goddess for me is to spray black opium extreme first then add goddess next. This layering is top tier believe me.

dickhard

I was going to call this likeable in the same vein as, like, Victoria's Secret fragrances when you're a teenager, and the little fragrance ads sticking out of Seventeen Magazine... likeable, but generic... probably something people would douse themselves in after gym class. It's non-offensive, boring, a little cheap. Makes me feel very American when I wear it.

I sprayed some on my wrist and took a shower, and when I got out I realized I could still smell it, but it had layered with my lavender bar soap in a way that punched it up a bit, which I'm not mad about. I feel like if you combined this with the right fragrance it would be tastier, but I'm not motivated enough by it to experiment and find out.

Ada558

Generally I don´t like vanilla, but this one is gentle, pleasant and clear scent, I like it. It is super for normal working day.

interizta

Directly remind me of Mon Guerlain

Siennai

It's like biting into a stale chocolate biscuit dipped in warm milk in a good way.

vanilllabitch

sharp but beautiful. mature, such a wonderful fragrance, I love it and hold it near and dear

heartstopss

i love vanilla so i had to try this and i love it so much. it’s such a smooth light vanilla, very cozy and comforting 🤍 also usually i don’t like lavender notes but it’s blended really well here, i only notice it in the beginning and it’s super subtle

Queen Bee >0<

A crowd-pleasing perfume. weirdly testing it in the store during the summer it came off as a very bright summertime vanilla scent. However I bought a bottle in the winter and in the winter it's coming off a lot more complex and the lavender seems punched up. I'm enjoying layering it with VS bare vanilla and Tihota.

amina04

Wasn’t expecting much from this but this is beautiful! I do tend to like most lavender + vanilla fragrances except for Mon Guerlain, I think the lavender in that one is too strong and bathroom freshener-esque. tbh Burberry Goddess is what I wanted Mon Guerlain to be. Starts off with a nice fresh opening with that burst of ginger and lavender, and then a DELICIOUS vanilla dry down. It’s so good, but make sure you test this out on your skin/clothes and wait for the drydown before making a judgement bc that’s where the magic happens. I also find that it surprisingly lasts hours and hours especially on clothes. This is no.1 on my Wishlist.

Célia Pais

I'm now on my second bottle. The perfume projects quite well in the first hour and then stays closer to the skin, but in terms of longevity, it's very good on my skin. I wake up the next day still smelling it. I see a lot of people complaining about its staying power but trust me... the more macerated it is, the more bomb it is. My first bottle was super strong. As I have several perfumes, I gave the Burberry a rest and it macerated well! The more I use it the more I fall in love with it... I liked it from the first time but the more I use it the more I like it. Some days it's hot, some days it's fresh. Some days I smell lavender, other days I smell more cocoa.. On others I smell more vanilla.. Some days I even smell mango. Using this perfume is fantastic because it never smells the same. Every day is surprising. Sometimes I smell like Black Opium le Parfum, sometimes I smell Like Good Girl, sometimes I smell like This is really her.. A wonderful experience ♥️

ZekaChi

The opening is absolutely beautiful!

Even though I'm not a lavender fan, it's mixed in such a way I don't see it as "lavender", or at least not "too much lavender".

Unfortunately, that fades after not that much time has passed, leaving a nice vanilla-y, slightly citrusy scent (no citruses listed, so it might be the ginger coming through). Not bad by any means, just not that special, especially compared to the opening.

The performance could be better, especially (again) for the price.

confused_amoeba

I am neither a vanilla nor a lavender person. I ordered a sample of this on micro perfumes because I wanted to see what the hype was about. On first spray, I got a mixture of ginger and vanilla, and seemed a bit masculine to me. My first thought was - ginger belongs in tea, vanilla belongs in desserts, whoever thought the two would go well together is an idiot. I used half of the sample on me, and poured the remaining on one of my scarves.

Two hours later I did a 180. This is the most beautiful thing I have ever smelled. Whoever thought ginger and vanilla would go well together is a genius. It's been a few weeks, and whenever I walk into my closet I make it a point to sniff my scarf. I cannot explain the chokehold this fragrance has on me. I will not buy a full bottle now because I'm on a no buy streak and summer is around the corner anyway, but I'm getting a full bottle as soon as fall comes around.

Edit: I caved and bought a full bottle. Life is short and I want to enjoy this NOW

midnightcat

I'm so mad I didn't get this one when it was on sale because the reviews were saying it's the same as Mon Guerlain which I already have so I was like is it worth it?
WRONG. The opening - yes. The dry down - Vanilla Goddess.
I will be waiting for you.....

lucia87

I absolutely adore this perfume. Burberry would be one of my favorite brands. First I got a sample and after i was buying a full bottle pretty much right away. I am not a big fan of lavender notes, but this combination goes so well together. Vanilla is lovely but not over powering or heavy and I get just a hint of cacao, lavender and a tiny bit of ginger. It is actually the first perfume where I can pick up all the notes listed. Love the little powdery vanilla dry down.
The bottle design is beautiful but it is a little bit overpriced to be fair.
I can imagine to wear this all year around but if I have to pick, fall would be a perfect season for it.

dancingdear

I saw the notes and because I’m not a vanilla person I didn’t even test a sample until recently.
Mind blown at how much I love it. The perfect amount of warm and spicy but still sensual. I would not consider it gourmand but it’s gourmand adjacent.
I was expecting similarities to Libre but very different. Nothing like Mon Guerlain.
Full bottle worthy for me and I’m using it a lot in these cozy months.

handkmommy

I was trying to figure out what I was smelling that I already have in my collection. This reminds me of Ginger Vanilla from Good Chemistry. Not a spot on dupe or anything. This has something sour that represents more of a cold fragrance. The ginger makes this have a hint of a tobacco like scent lingering to my nose. This is likable the way Burberry Brit is likable. Nothing that’s gonna blow your mind, but it is likable vibe and different enough to draw interest.

vewawang

i literally can not smell any vanilla in this, its just lavender and naurr

Pampelmousse

I am a vanilla- loving girlie but Goddess has been a let down. I’m getting a cheap and tinny vanilla in the dry down. This vanilla has got a stale and stuffy vibe like it’s expired. Anyone else agrees?

pipergirl

This is a nice, long lasting vanilla. I really do not get much, if any, lavender and I detect a fruity note in this, maybe pear? Goddess actually reminds me of a fancied up version of Fancy or a bit like Burberry Brit without the almond and lime.

imacat88

The first seconds of this reminded me of D&G Devotion (a little less dense) and Vanilla club from Novellista, after a little while the strong vanilla went softer and the lavander settled as more prominent, it's simple, it's confortable, it's not a walk on the wilde side, it's a pretty fragrance.

edit: after 30 mnts the ginger had its moment then it vanished, 3h after spraying my skin , its now a sweet vanilla mixed with lavander, cosy vanilla that can be used outside winter.

tilly222

This is honestly so so gorgeous! I was worried there would be overwhelming lavender notes, but the lavender is so faint and perfectly belnded.

This is sweet without out being sickly, and perfectly vanillic without being synthetic. I’m so over vanillas that smell like a synthetic, cheap candle! This is popular for a reason. She’s pretty, sweet, vanillary and universally appealing.

If you want to add a crowd pleaser to your collection, this is it.

AnnieD77

I really like this. I don't usually like designer fragrances. They all smell like chemicals and kind of all the same to me on some level. But this reminds me of Good Girl which I like and also Commodity Milk which I love and own. It's a bit more complex then Milk but there is something in common between them.

Flowerfruit

I don’t understand why people like this because it is very off-putting to me. All I smell are salty notes and can’t detect any vanilla. One of my least Burberry fragrances.

Gillzathrillza

I sampled this in a store and had a pleasant surprise with its depth and complexity. I was sniffing my hand for ages and knew I had to have it.

Fast forward to having my own bottle and it’s fallen a bit flat. It doesn’t seem to have the longevity I experienced before. Alongside my Vanilla 28, Mon Guerlain, La Belle, Libre Le Perfum and Vanille Absolu, it’s just not measuring up to them. It has a nice lavender and spicy edge but it’s not enough to set it apart from the rest.

I do like it, but I wouldn’t repurchase. It’s a crowd pleaser so it’ll make Burberry plenty of money…just not from me.

Edit: I combined this with my Vanilla 28 and WOOFT. I smelled incredible. Warm, spicy, confident, delicious. I could smell it emanating off me during a gig for a couple of hours. Definitely worth layering!

Rwertz123

I’m shocked so many think this is a basic vanilla fragrance. I smell the spice, the floral and a little musk, and like I LOVE it!!! I’m not big into vanilla fragrances because sometimes I think it can come off too synthetic but this fragrance has it just right. I really recommend this and I honestly it’s even good for an everyday wear!

GiBaby

This was an absolute LOVE at first sniff, and is in my top favs of all time!! While some may find this a basic fragrance, I am a vanilla fiend and this one is 🤤!! The dry down is delicious!! I need Burberry to make this in an intense formulation with the same scent profile asap! This is too good! I bought the big daddy and think I’m going to order a back up😌.

Aroama

Upon first spray, this gives me Mon Guerlain(MG) with fruit. While they aren’t listed, I get a peach or mango in the opening. The powdery dry down that’s in MG is less pronounced here.

whimsyandhoney

While this is similar to mon guerlain, goddess has more of an airy fruitiness, and the lavender is less prominent. The lavender note actually comes through more as a fresh garden lavender vs the synthetic syrupy lavender that is bothersome to me in some fragrances (*cough cough ysl libre*).
If you know the scent of 7virtues vanilla woods or cheirosa 40, it’s like that but a little more aromatic and fresh.

If you have mon guerlain and either vanilla woods or cheirosa 40, I don’t think you need this. You can get the same effect by layering mon guerlain with one or the other.

Meli1657

Reminds me of Burberry Brit mixed with Black Opium

IAthirah

This is love at first sniff! Not a complicated scent, but a heavenly combination of vanilla and lavender. Classy, sophisticated, mature. A scent for any occasion.

Tintalle

I have stopped wearing any perfume other than Goddess (which I think is not really a suitable name for this perfume, as it isn't really sexy, but oh well) and I don't expect to bother with anything else until it is warm out.

I had mixed feelings about this perfume at one point, and wrote a review I had to delete. I have a previous review I kept for this fragrance but it does not do Goddess justice, so I am writing another.

I am obsessed with this perfume. It is so perfect all the way through, and the lavender is so elegant and not sharp at all. The vanilla is very dry and not really an edible vanilla until maybe the base notes emerge, and it is a sweeter vanilla at that point, and very pleasant. It is, however, my least favorite phase of the fragrance, even though I quite like it, too.

I definitely adore the top and middle notes more because the cacao and ginger really are very lovely, and the lavender has grown on me to such an extent that I can't believe I ever had difficulty with it.

This perfume is very classic, probably very basic in the best possible way, and should be a crowd pleaser. It makes me very happy in it's well executed simplicity.

Des96

If you didn’t like Libre give this one a sniff! I don’t love florals, and I scrubbed Libre off when I tried it so I was expecting to hate this when I sprayed the tester in Ulta. Call me simple or boring for falling for this I don’t mind, something about that ginger cutting through the vanilla and cacao just does something. Then the lavender that smells like my fingers after picking fresh lavender comes in and keeps it refreshing. Yummy in a non-gourmand way? I’m not sure the price is worth it but fortunately Dua makes a great affordable dupe thats spot on. Im sorry yall…Im kinda in love with the simplicity of her.

Mattesha Erotica

I put off getting this because I was afraid of being let down like I’ve been with every recent vanilla release. No surprise, it was underwhelming, but that lavender/ambery notes helps differentiate this from similar vanilla releases of late.

To me this smells EXACTLY like you equally blended Eilish no.1, Mod vanilla, and Calvin Klein Forbidden Euphoria all in one bottle. I can see how people love this middling vanilla body mist type perfume, but I personally do not see the value in its purchase. I could see this being a great layering tool for accentuating other fragrances, but don't think ill be utilizing my bottle very much. I couldn't imagine wearing this over any of the Burberry Her flankers; Perhaps this would be a more captivating wear if there were some sort of fruit notes present, like in the Her line. Regardless this perfume was designed for snobbish vanilla lovers who were uninterested in buying cheesy celebrity fragrances with gaudy hard to spray bottles, like Ariana Grande’s Mod Vanilla or Eilish no.1.

My review is going to be buried under these hundreds of similar reviews being added by the hour, but i thought I’d put my simple honest opinion out there for others that were on the fence about purchasing Goddess. This perfume doesn’t smell like the price it retails for and you would be much better served by the two celebrity releases named above.

AngelClaw

Smelled this, not a beast, it's nice but that's all.. Hope they will make the intense version and then we will see.

Zom_Aly

Oh my dear lord. My friendship with My Way Floral has ended, Burberry Goddess is officialy my new best friend

It's Vanila, it's fememine and it's sophisticated. (I know that description could be about almost any other perfume but please hear me out). The opening honestly scared me a little bit because the lavender was strong and mixed with the ginger it gave me male perfume vibes for a second. BUT. It then slowly developed and turned into a fancy beautiful vanilla! Not an edible, bakery/pastry or Victoria's Secret body mist vanilla (nothing against them btw),but more of a balanced one unlike any I've smelled before.

It's quite linear, and a pretty simple fragrance but the dry-out is just lovely. I usually prefer sweetter perfumes (sometimes, what other people would consider as "jUvEnilE") but this one just won me over!

Edit: I wore this on my valentine's day date and my partner loved it too! I could smell it on myself all the time and it made me feel so pretty. I can see this becoming a signature scent for me

Tunzz

Love that the lavender in this is very subtle (it's barely there) bc i absolutely hate lavender. This is a very creamy vanilla scent. Reminds me of black opium, but it's not as sweet or cloying as bo. Absolutely delicious, like a vanilla wafer.

Safe blind buy for gourmand lovers. AND lavender haters lol

TheCandyperfumegirl

I had tried this perfume for the first time at the Sri Lankan Airport. To be honest I didn't really enjoy it back then. Also I tried it in India and once again it failed to amaze me. When I first saw the news of this fragrance being released I had really high hopes as Vanilla and lavender are two of my most favorite fragrance notes. I was expecting something gorgeous and out of the box. But to my utter disappointed this was nothing but a generic vanilla fragrance to my nose.
Then again I tried a miniature during winter and I won't say I love it now but I can see why people love it. It's not a groundbreaking fragrance but it has an easy to love quality. As it's not a complex Fragrance people will enjoy it. It's sweet vanilla with a powdery feminine drydown. Longevity is around 6 hours and radiates within a hands distance for first few hours. I won't say it's a must have but it can be a nice option for Gourmand lovers during the cold weather. I won't recommend it for summer as it turns sticky and overbearingly sweet during the hot humid weather.

bowbonita

This is unfortunately too black sugary for me. Except the sharp black sugar note and patchouli this is Vanilla 28. If you wanted to like Vanilla 28 but you couldn't because it's too strong or too sugary or you don't like the patchouli, this can be the fragrance for you.

xababyxaforluv

I was kindly gifted this fragrance by a friend, as I had smelled it before in a magazine and adored it. However, though it smells absolutely beautiful and I would say groundbreaking, I don't feel that spark that I feel for my favorite fragrances. I am excited to wear it more often though, and hopefully grow accustomed to it and let it grow on me. I want to give it the chance to change my mind, because it's complex and almost deep enough to do so. One thing I really appreciate with this fragrance is that I can smell all the notes; there are no ingredients that are lost on me, or lost in the formula. My only critique is that if I do one spray on my chest, I can't smell anything. However, three generous sprays on my chest and I can. I do not know the longevity is has yet. But hey, this is gorgeous. Smells like someone you would pass by and deeply appreciate for their perfume that day, haha!

thekinzzz

Just received a sample in my latest Sephora order and why does it smell exactly like Armani code to me? I mean it smells good and I know the notes are very different but I swear…. It smells nice though 😅 maybe something for a fancy date, I cannot see this being worn casually at all. 7/10 smell for me can’t speak to longevity although I can smell this one spray 45 minutes later just as strong as if I just sprayed it.

Slink

I love this. The first hour or so it is an elegant sweet floral. After that I smell more vanilla and a soft spiciness from ginger. It's really beautiful and elegant. I think it can be all occasion.

Zayobayo85

I love this

Faeriecoma

Y’all been going crazy over this but i tells ya it smells like a dupe for Wicked by Victoria secret. the association makes this fragrance cheap to me. I wanted to like it so much.

Glassbloc

Vanilla - not powdery or too sweet. A bit of warm spice adds complexity. I usually dislike lavender but I haven't noticed it.

My favourite perfumes are from Guerlain. I love fragrances that are soft on the nose but maintain interest through **subtle** notes of incense and spice. I love gourmand and hate florals that hit the nose sharp and chemically.

Aside from Guerlain, this is my favourite fragrance. It makes me feel elevated, confident, graceful and womanly.

Edit: I think this one makes me sneeze :(

ohlenore

I don’t get vanilla in this one at all. Disappointed

bigbang9539

I'm so unsure on this one. I'm surprised that most reviews I've watched/read do not mention that this is a very citrusy fragrance. I don't get a sweet vanilla note at all. I like it paired with a very formal and pretty dress (perfect for a wedding), but I can't justify keeping it just for that. Will keep it around a little longer to see if it grows on me.

Katelynl88

This is nice . Nothing special , to my nose , it smells like Burberry Brit mixed with kayali silk santal . A very nice sweet scent . I don’t get any lavender and I almost smell apricot. First it’s closer to Burberry Brit, then it gets more similar to the wedding silk santal . I think this could be worn anytime really ,

kijonnaw04

My bf brought me this as a gift and I absolutely love it! Super sweet but not too sweet. Safe to be blind brought and I would say its universally flattering. Very nice Vanilla scent! Def recommend to everyone who loves vanillas that are not too sweet or childish smelling.

nikxx

se você gosta de baunilha definitivamente você vai amar. ele é doce mas sem ser enjoativo, é bem delicado e reconfortante. acredito que combine com todas as idades.

Lilysdoll

When I first got this I immediately liked it, but I wasn't wowed by it. Now that I have had it for a while and worn it, I absolutely love it! There is just something so delicious and comforting about this perfume. Of course you will smell beautiful wearing this, but I seriously love wearing this scent for myself. It's just addictive.

librashortcake

ive smelled this about 15 times now please someone make me like this perfume

AnastasiaSniffsUa

This is absolutely divine. I love the smell of vanilla, but since I struggle with wearing sweet fragrances, I couldn’t find a nice vanilla-dominant perfume that wouldn’t be sugary, bakery-like etc. Goddess is just that, it’s very aromatic, sophisticated and perfectly balanced because of lavender and ginger. At the very start, the lavender note is so strong that it reminds me of men’s aftershave of some kind, but I’m not against it at all. Then the vanilla mixed with cacao kicks in, and it’s pure heaven to smell.

davehalabe

As a man I can say that this is one of the best womens perfume.

A beautiful Vanilla, Sweet but citrus scent, very adictive and underrated

A fragrance every women has to at least once in there life

A BEAST MODE FRAGRANCE

It is a bit hefty on the price tag, but worth it.

Overall 4.30/5

Ahump55

I really like this one. It’s kind of like YSL Libre but softer and more vanilla. It’s kind of like Black Opium but no cocoa notes. And kind of like a more feminine Henry Rose Torn. I never jumped on those first two because something didn’t work with my body chemistry. But this one does. It’s very simple and nice.

nakota

Honestly, I've never been a fan of Burberry's perfumes, but this is a very successful and likeable creation. I think it's going to be crazy popular and I mean Black Opium level of crazy (thankfully, it's a different kind of scent though).

Theoretically it's a very simple, rather linear and not that groundbreaking fragrance, but all the ingredients are so balanced and well blended, that the overall experience is sophisticated, both elegant and sexy, super feminine and creamy. Nothing is too prominent and harsh here. If you don't like vanilla, you can still like it. If you hate lavender, you can still fall in love with it. To me, it is just the golden mean between D&G Devotion (lemon tart, very gourmand) and Mon Guerlain (vanilla but on a more herbal side of things). Definitely a signature scent potential.

Nobody mentioned it here, but to me it is somehow a creamier sister of La Belle by Jean Paul Gaultier, which has been my signature scent for a few years. The notes are different, but they share a very similar vibe to me. La Belle is fresher and more fruity, especially in the opening, but they get quite similar in the drydown. However, I have full bottles of both and wouldn't call one of them redundant if you already own the other.

It took me by surprise one day, but on my skin the drydown of Flowerbomb Midnight is remarkably close to what Goddess is all along.

skm50

Had a travel size of this for the longest time and never fully tried it until today. I would classify it as a sparkling vanilla. The lavender really comes out on me and it elevates the scent so nicely and makes it so comforting and inviting. Dries down with some cocoa. It projected quite well for 8 hours on me and started to become a skin scent after. This one is great for layering. I layer it with Replica's 'By The Fireplace'.

Lala Canel

My goddess! I feel like an Amazon deity with this simple, sofisticated and sexy scent. It has the perfect Burberry DNA. And it is my second perfume from Burberry, wait! My third perfume from Burberry that captivate my olfatory sense. When I want to feel like goddess on earth walking barefoot in a cacao plantation... This is the perfume! I ordered a travel size and a mini edition but I am considering getting a bigger bottle. Love this!!!! It is vanilla caviar, lavander and cacao perfection on my skin.

Luilind

If you like Amor Amor by Cacharel, this is for you! This smell’s likes Amor’s older sister. Opening is very similar, although the ginger makes it a little spicy. Dries down to a floral vanilla, beautiful! It’s not soapy at all, not smokey, not cloying, just delightful and sophisticated in the drydown.

I really like this scent. Seems like the perfect perfume for rosé and moscato dates, sunsets in late summer.
