Perfume rating 3.93 out of 5 with 110 votes
Aqua Majestae by Le Couvent Maison de Parfum is a Floral Fruity fragrance for women and men. Aqua Majestae was launched in 2019. The nose behind this fragrance is Jean-Claude Ellena. Top note is Argentinian Lemon; middle notes are Osmanthus and Acácia; base note is Woody Notes.
"Essences of Acacia & Osmanthus. A radiant Fruity Floral wake, evoking the golden hours in the Osmanthus Garden of the Convent of the Minimes. Intense and strong concentration, based on natural botanical essences in the tradition of the Haute Franferie Française.
Aqua Majestae, evocation of golden hours in the Osmanthus Garden. A solar departure on a bouquet of radiant Acacia, revealed by the zesty notes of the Argentinean lemon. Then in heart, the fresh and luminous wake of Osmanthus which dresses the woody bottom of its juicy and apricot notes. " - a note from the brand.

Clean scent, like straight outta the shower. The lemon is realistic, allmost edible. The florals are shampooish. It’s pleasant, safe for daytime, office and sports. It’s unisex, fresh and aromatic without being too woody or earthy. I like how bright and airy it is, great for spring and summer.

Nice and soft from the get-go, despite the citric top note there is hardly any tartness in this as far as I'm concerned. It seems to be dominated by the osmanthus as it checks those boxes: peach/apricot with a vague suggestion of something milky or creamy, which could be anything from shampoo to yogurt or ice cream.
Beyond its simplicity, subjectively there is a cosy or intimate quality to this that I really enjoy. It's probably reminding me of something or someone, but I can't put my finger on who or what. One minute I'm thinking it merely smells like someone who's just washed their hair, the next I'm wondering if it has a faint echo of something much louder like Amor Amor.
On that note, osmanthus does seem to lean to the feminine side but I have zero qualms about wearing this one as a guy, it just smells too dang good.
This is the second Couvent cologne I've tried after Aqua Imperi, and Majestae's my favorite so far. I have more of their 10 ml bottles lined up, might try Mahana next as er1cah suggested below.

This is very similar to Nectarine Blossom & Honey from Jo Malone as someone else also mentioned in the comments. Aqua Majestae is a bit greener in my opinion. This also has a very similar undertone to Aqua Amantia which I also own. Maybe it's the citrus in the top notes that creates the similarity... not sure.
I can distantly see why this would be described as lactonic but I don't know about "soft spicy" so much. I think this scent would become more interesting when combined with something else, it could use a bit of softening to decrease the soapy vibe (which Aqua Amantia also has for the first couple of hours of spraying).
I would recommend the newest release of the line (Aqua Mahana) instead. It's a better rounded and more complex scent, yet suitable for the warm summer months (and unisex!). This one's a bit blah and too strong on the soapiness/citrus, in my humble opinion. Let's hope Fragrantica adds Aqua Mahana sometime soon...:)

Citrusy opening quickly followed by a floral-fruity osmanthus accord. It smells like peach at times. This all is balanced out by some woody notes. Still fairly fresh and easy to wear. I do think this is unisex, albeit even slightly more feminine leaning due to the floral-fruity accord. However, I wear this without issue. Its citric nature never really subsides but the osmanthus will soften whereby an almost fizzy or effervescent quality will remain. By the way, nothing in where which would somehow remind me of aftershave. Decent.

I like it !
But this is an EDT which in terms of diffusion and longevity is dangerously close to cologne
However it is very appreciable, a subtle apricot flavor, a perfume perfect for summer ... a smell of acacia in the background behind the osmanthus
A scent that is not at all offensive, clean and perfectly suited to the office, like going out ... some not memorable for those around you, but perfect for yourself and your loved ones
I find him a childish side without at all that it is pejorative quite on the contrary .. it's not that it is sweet, let us say that it is soft, light and of a natural echoing childhood, and that - it would certainly be suitable for toddlers
Perfectly unisex!

This one is distinctly masculine, so much so that I'll be giving my 10ml, discounted 'bottle' to Oxfam. A clean lemony scent that lasts pretty well, but on me shouts aftershave, not perfume.
