The Scentimentalist

A delicious chocolate caramel concoction that is evidently nocturnal. The overall scent is fun, attractive but a bit frivolous. Something in the composition (caramel, perhaps) renders it somewhat inelegant but delicious nonetheless.

Ayshin

Why oh why
I bought this on sale (blind buy aleeeeert) and boi i hate this
This smell like medicinal oriental herb
I hate this eventho i got in on sale for $60 (in my country)

anamawsity

On the initial spray, it smells like sour chocolate milk and is completely awful. After about 15 minutes, it finally fades into a tolerable, and even pleasant sweet cacao scent. My skin usually pulls out even the tiniest hints of floral notes in perfumes but I surprisingly don’t get any of the floral notes in this (which is a plus for me). It has a nice personal sillage and lasts about 5-6 hours. Is it my favourite smell ever? No. But once it settles, it’s definitely interesting. That being said, the initial 15 minutes of sour milk is not worth it. I’m surprised I haven’t seen anyone compare this to Ellis Brooklyn’s Vanilla Milk because to me they’re quite similar with Candy Night having just a bit of a deeper chocolate scent.

Cecilie.l.s.m

Simply delicious and seductive fragrance.

It smells dark but still fresh.
I get a very, very slight hint of citrus, which I believe is what keeps the fragrance from becoming too dark and powdery.

It has a calming effect on me. I suspect the chocolate scent is influencing me to feel cozy and peaceful.

It's a really delicious creamy and soft fragrance.

I feel feminine but in a strong and womanly way. In no way youthful.
The fragrance would probably not suit anyone under 18-20 years old.
It's too complex and dark for that.

I can't help but smell myself when I'm wearing it.

Definitely a delicious vanilla and chocolate scent.
I also catch a bit of white flowers.
But it's in a way where you're not quite sure, but can maybe just sense it.

Delicious, delicious fragrance!

KatelynMLovesPerfume

This smells just like a chocolate version of Prada Candy Kiss. I smell a bit of the orange in there too. But I think I like Prada Candy Kiss more than this one, it's pretty much the same thing but with like a milk chocolate note thrown in there instead of the orange blossom. Powdery as well but not in a strong way. This is nice, but since I already love Candy Kiss more, I don't think I will be purchasing this one. Good longevity, not beast mode but not weak either. Great if you're looking for a chocolate scent.

Kat D Lula

Prada Candy Night is beautiful. And the bottle is just as pretty. It doesn't smell much like the OG. It's darker and even tho it's not listed in the notes, this smells like black coffee with a bit of sugar with a touch of those floral notes. This is an easy reach for me when it's cooler out or when I want to smell good going to bed.

pilardavg

While I can see why some people dislike this scent, I can’t help but love it.
I’ve tested the original Prada Candy and I think it was solid, I liked it but it didn’t completely click for me. When I saw that this flanker had chocolate among its notes, I knew I had to try it.

Yes, it’s basically PC meets cocoa powder with some oranges slices -like those orange & chocolate cookies. The tonka bean gives some depth.

The sillage is not enormous, but I think it’s perfect for some cozy cold nights! The chocolate is not cloying, it is even bitter, but it is a noticiable note. So if you are comfortable smelling this delicious dark chocolate powder note, go for it!

SakuraArt

On the intial spray, it smelled like a musk bomb. After thirty minutes of harshness, it dried down to a delicious chocolate/caramel scent. It's great for a date-night, but wearing it in the daytime would be the olfactory equivalent of wearing a sequined halter-top to work.

DreamInCream

Oooh, Prada Candy Night, this one's fun!
First impression 1 spray to the wrist: See's chocolate covered peanuts🍫🥜.
Not too sweet or strong. In fact, settles softly with a little warm caramel and iris buzzes close to the skin.
I'll be back with more after a full dose.

I've tried this a couple more times and the chocolate disappears very quickly on me and goes right to a buzz of powdery iris. That's the only thing I can smell. The same thing happened with D&G the only one. It just stays forever a powdery buzz. I think it must be that iris just overwhelms everything on my skin or to my nose and I can't smell anything else. No more Iris for me;(

AphroditeLeStrange

I'm going to start by saying...
I don't like the original. I don't like overly sweet perfumes without much depth. I blind bought this one in particular because someone stated that it smelled like Candy and an Ashtray as if to steer people away. I was on it.
I wanted to know. I was willing to pay the price.
The first time I tried it, I was like... I like it. It's nice.
But as wore it more, I was shook. I completely love it.
It's not as they claim. It's sweet spicy. Similar to Fever by Jimmy Choo but with a little more punch.
I had a really long day today and when I came home, I got in comfy clothes and spritzed this one. It's so comforting.
So, shout out to the person who sold me on candy and cigarettes. This is one of my favorites.

makitakeshita

I'm in love with it. Actually, This is a classic scent except the top, Powderly amber and vanilla.
I don't like the top of a few minutes though... and
I don't get chocolate either but the sweet is a little bit bitter.
Sillage is intimate, which means it's easy to wear.
Just do not wear in Summer,It's awful.

It is heaven the dry down :)

mothtoaflame___

Jaffa cake as a fragrance in the best possible way.

merabshirel

The opening neroni is too bright for me and I don't get the bitter chocolate note most reviewers rave about, but the dry down is so pleasant and soothing: powdery, clean and slightly sweet due to the vanilla. The biggest downside's the poor projection it offers but it does linger on my skin for around 4 to 6 hours depending on the weather. I wouldn't get it again but I do wear from time to time before going to bed.

bijou_

super different to the og prada candy to my nose !!
it's not overly sweet but like a dark chocolate truffle since its a bit bitter and powdery ~
very sexy gourmand imo so really loves up to the night name ~

if i feel like adding some sweetness this goes very nicely on top of cocoa butter body care of layer with sweeter fragrances

MrsPress

Love the fragrance, but performance is horrible.

AMARA21

SMELLS LIKE A DARK CHOCOLATE AND YOU KNOW HOW IT HAS A BITTERNESS TO IT. NOT SWEET GOURMAND SO DISAPPOINTED. It does get sweeter in the dry down but at that point is a skin scent. WISH I GOT THE ORIGINAL RELEASE INSTEAD.

kittenpawz

The pyramid on fragrantica differs from that on the official Prada website. If you can't smell chocolate maybe it's because it's not listed there. According to Prada these are the notes:

Head notes: Neroli, Iris, Bitter Orange
Heart notes: Vanilla
Base notes: Patchouli

luanneog

Sweet and powdery. It smelled like baby powder. I couldn't smell the chocolate note in this. Very light. Nothing too remarkable about this one IMO.

AgataO

Blind Buy for me and no regrets.
Beautiful smell for me. Probably because I am into the gourmand fragrances and I can smell the chocolate note on my skin - what does not always happen, even when chocolate is listed as a note - it is one of my favourites right now.
For me it will last on me up to 4 hours, after that it is mostly a skin scent - as some people have a better smell sense, they will tell me they can smell it on me even when I assume it has disappeared - really nice.

LadyMuck

Deeper version of the original Prada Candy.
It is however not as long lasting.
It initially smells of a dark chocolate and earthy tonka and patchouli.
It isn't a loud overbearing fragrance.
Lighter than I expected. Easy to wear and the neroli and Iris does give it a lovely floral waft.
Sexy but does not project. More of an intimate fragrance that lingers on the skin for about 3-4 hours.

7/10

Lovaloo

Strong "chocolate powder" accord (iris + patchouli + vanilla), a touch of tonka, soft amber, and musks. This flanker has some of the original Prada Candy DNA. Soft, muted, warm, it has edible qualities, but it's not as overtly sweet/foody as other gourmands.

If you want a more realistic and less powdery chocolate, try Montale Chocolate Greedy.

Perfumedsecrets

I bought this and then put it aside. Today I sprayed it and got a chocolate iris. It’s not too sweet or floral or really too much of anything. It’s a comfortable gourmand.

Pat_Chouli

This is black magic...dark, sensual, witchy. Bitter chocolate orange, a little coffee, some earthiness to sex it up and some powder to soften and clean it. Definitely rings true as a darker version of Candy as it was meant to be, and it is a perfect date night fragrance. Despite being intensely chocolatey it might not be for you if you're looking for something gourmand as the sweetness is not prominent. It's bitter, but well balanced. It smells expensive and unique. I could believe it was a niche fragrance if I wasn't already familiar with Candy perfumes. I prefer this over the sweeter Black Opium which it reminded me of a little. It's definitely suited for nighttime and cooler weather.

Lovely246

I REALLY like this frag. It smells smokey and sultry and lush. I feel like it smells really expensive. The opening was pretty strong and then it quickly, like ten minutes quickly, dried down to a beautiful smokey but kind of powdery scent thanks in part to the iris. I was definitely expecting a much sweeter scent based on the notes listed but I'm not disappointed. I sprayed some on and went to do grocery shopping and I kept sniffing myself at the store. I can see this being a better frag for cooler days or in the evening. This would really shine in the fall.

Icarel

A chocolate that is realistic enough for my nose. That's the note I get immediately, but it disappears after a while to make room for Candy's DNA with a less cute side though. Rather deeper, darker, more patchouli and tonka. Candy being already for me a night fragrance, this flanker is the less sweet version and a bit more deeper and sensual. A dark chocolate version. It is what I expect from a flanker, to give a twist, and it is quite a good one. It performs slightly better. I like it, it goes with the original and is perfect for alternating depends on the mood or conditions. :) The design of the bottle is even more beautiful than the OG.

coffeebean83

Okay, this is a medium-dark scent. It's powdery(but not as much as the OG) with the top notes given it a slight tart boost before it levels down to a very chocolate scent(with the iris sticking around lightly). That's obviously a mix of the chocolate & patchouli notes. However, because of the chocolate the patchouli is giving that rendition of itself. So you get a very chocolatey version of patchouli(with the patch actually the most dominate between the two notes).
I love the simplicity of the original and am really enjoying this version too. Tbh I didn't think I'd like these as much as I do. Glad I tried the line.

haus0fXI

I was so curious about this scent and my aunt recently got this as a gift. So, naturally i spritz some on my wrist and I’ll say this — if you love the smell of baby powder, this will be your paradise because wow, it’s so powdery. I’m not a fan of this scent at all. There’s also something alittle nasty with this scent as I discovered, it kinda reminds me of a woman’s restroom at an airport. Not sure if it’s the patchouli mixing with that powdery note but I can’t get behind this.

makitakeshita

It's lighter than I expected, so that's good.
Powdery and vanilla scent.
The top contains a little synthetic scent, but it is getting sensual Vanilla after drying down.
Just Do not wear Summer!

darkbeauty

PCN is making it no secret that it IS a chocolate fragrance. The fact that the chocolate is present from beginning to end is wonderful for me. You can definitely smell the powdery, musky, dark, cocoa beneath the tangy, citrus, buttery opening. But that citrus butter tang goes away quickly before you are left with a warm, dark, bitter, sugar dusted chocolate confection. I really like this. Chocolate always shows up well on my skin, such as with SJP Covet, and Guerlain Gourmand Coquin. So naturally I am gravitating toward this fragrance because it’s just an easy no brainer for me. Currently I am testing with a few spray samples. It may be full bottle worthy if the husband approves. Chocolate is his favorite! And who doesn’t want to smell edible for their partner. 🍫😋

SophiaViolette

The opening for me was “cocoa, more cocoa, and more cocoa powder”… after a few minutes I start to pick a hint of fruits, like orange, but that’s it.

Multiple sprays on skin and it’s very subtle and close to skin. Smells oriental without being loud, mostly getting chunky chocolate, powdery iris and warm vanilla at dry-down. Decent longevity, close to skin.

It’s overall lovely, young, and dark.

I wouldn't call this a "chocolate" fragrance, tbh...the chocolate here is very bitter and dry, like unsweetened cocoa powder. Not only that, it starts off with incense/head shop/vintage bookstore smell, until it settles and the cocoa note becomes noticeable. I'd consider this a musky fragrance with a hint of cocoa powder. Someone else described it as tootsie rolls, but it just doesn't smell like that on my skin.

I don't reach for it often, but I do enjoy wearing it. It makes me think of a hippy burnout who hangs out in bookstores and rock clubs.

I have 50% of my bottle left, and I wouldn't purchase it again because it doesn't last more than 3-4 hours on my skin. It's definitely not a safe blind buy, and not a crowd pleaser.

Mirabele

i do love it, it is very nice scent, but i understand it is not for everyone. first of all, longevity is not that impressive, and while i am ok with that, because i like my scents to fade away, this may not be what you are looking for. secondly, the scent itself and the design of the bottle and the name do not match very well, as i see it. the same with original Prada Candy (which i have and love as well). it is not as sweet as you would think from the name and it is not as girly as you may assume from the design of the bottle. i do see it fitting people who like Prada Infusion d'Iris, to my nose Prada Candy are the daughters of the Prada Infusion. But those who like Prada Iris will most likely overlook bottles that have a design like Prada Candy. They look like totally different scent families, and they are, but the dnr is much stronger as one may assume looking at the bottles and reading the names.
To me it is more about cacao than a chocolate, and a certain bitterness exists there, yes, it do like it, but i may see it is not everyone's cup of tea. It this opens with dark dry cacao powder and is kind of gourmand in the beginning (but not as gourmand as gourmand lover may expect), later it dries down to a clean scent, kind of paper/cardboard type clean, patchouli, i assume, in that sense slightly similar to Prada Iris and then before it disappears. it is sweet due to vanilla but grown up type of sweet, and slightly powdery, but not too much, again, the same type of powdery as Prada Infuson Iris, not the guerlain or makeup type of powder.
very nice, light and lovely, but you either have to like light fleeting scents or enjoy to respray in order to love this one. to my nose, very similar to OG Prada Candy, but just with added cacao.

Finka227

Smelled this today at Sephora, literally like plant 🪴 leaves sap…so weird to me I’m shocked by the scent

nelliebabes

To me this is a 50/50 split combining Flowerbomb and Black Opium.

Iris/ Patchoucli/ Musk in the initial spray. Dries down to comforting vanilla/ cocoa within 20 minutes.

Simple, sexy, but nothing super unique. Gifted to me- wasn't impressed at first, but after wearing it for a day it's become what I reach for all of Winter 2023

beta-ionone

Every time I had sampled this on a paper strip I disliked it and overlooked it, then I accidentally squirted some on my boyfriend's arm and he said his arm smelled like chocolate! He smelled like chocolate Nesquik! I sprayed it on myself and I did have a chocolate scent but it wasn't as apparent as it was on him. Maybe his skin chemistry was better for it. The drydown on his arm settled to an incense scent. I asked my mom if she could smell it on me and she did smell a hint of chocolate so I'm glad I at least smell chocolatey!
Not sure of longevity, it is really faint after 4 hours.

Try this on skin!

noodlehead19

dirty chocolate & patchouli. it's like if you ate an herb (the *special* herb)-infused chocolate bar while someone was smoking in the same room. to my nose it's ONLY vanilla-cocoa-patchouli, I can't pick up on any of the floral top notes, which makes me a little sad. even though it's a little sweet, there's like a hairspray/perfume-y quality that I don't think meshes well with the gourmand-ness of it all. on the flip side, I do think it'd be a unique clubbing/night-out perfume. performance and projection both average, but not enough for me to need a whole bottle.

Yisslvr

Smells like the sofa my grandad sat and smoked cigarettes in for 50 years

KamillaNilsen

I’m so glad I ordered a test for this. I just don’t like it…

jjluvsm9

Immediately smells like cigarettes slightly. I read around and a few others have commented on the ‘cigarette’ smell you get before it dries down. That may be the Iris? Once it dries down about an hour in I do start to get more cacao and it smells more like the OG Candy. It’s very very light and doesn’t last though, as is the issue with this entire line.

My rating: 6/10
Bf rating: 2/10 (he hated this)

BougieGirlShops

I own the OG and L'Eau, and since I didn't look at the notes before I tried it, I was quite taken aback at how strong the cacao note is. I had assumed it would be a stronger, deeper caramel gourmand. I don't get much of the Candy DNA either, where the OG did have quite a distinct floral heart to it, this is far more gourmand leaning.

At first spritz, I mistook the patchouli/dark cacao to be coffee, but as it dries down it rounds out to be a true chocolate scent.

On me, it smells very similar to Mancera Choco Violet. While this is iris instead, they both share a similar purple floral powdery-ness. Another fragrance I am surprised is not listed as a reminder of, is Al Rehab Choco Musk again due to the chocolate and powder notes. If I did not have these other two in my collection, I may have considered getting a full bottle but alas, it's too similar to what I already own.

I'm still waiting for a more sticky salted caramel intense version from Prada.

singlehandedbeauty

Frustratingly, my chemistry projects the musk in this line like crazy, but aside from that, Prada candy night plays out just as it's laid out above. The opening is a bit bitter and sweet from the neroli, which will be off-putting to some, but it only lasts ten minutes. The patchouli is well-blended and indiscernible. I find PCN to be sweeter than the original, but only slightly less boring, which is disappointing considering the notes and how gorgeous the bottle is. It just doesn't deliver. My husband didn't care for this either and said it smelled dated. It's pretty and inoffensive, but I will stick with Orchidee Vanille when I have a vanilla and chocolate craving.

rainydays

This fragrance is pleasant enough. Not too sickly sweet, definitely floral with warmth from the chocolate. The bitter orange isn't a fresh citrus-- it's more of a spiced, wintery orange so it blends nicely with the overall feel. My biggest qualm is that this has SUCH little projection and longevity. Equivalent to a body spray, if that. Pass.

Nurse_Ratchet_82

Just smells like bubblegum and iris. No chocolate or patchouli notes.

chicagogirl

After years of wanting this (and never getting to see it in a store and test it) I finally blind bought. I think the name is pretty spot on. It's PC with a dark powdery twist. Sweet caramel and powdery benzoin with sharp hit of patchouli and the faintest chocolate. As it dries down it's a pretty semi floral but still gourmand drydown. To me the drydown is like 90% similar to original Candy. There's hints of cocoa but I honestly dont get a cocoa burst like I imagined I would before smelling. The original Prada Candy had me obsessed from the years of 2011 to about 2018 lol. Luckily this is close enough to that, therefore it was a successful blind buy for me. If you're looking for something dramatically diff than the original this isn't it but still a good perfume if you love Prada Candy.

realitygreene

For some reason I was intimidated by this fragrance for years, so I didn't try my sample until today. It's ok! IDK what I was afraid of, maybe that it would be super strong and heavy? It's not. It's pretty light actually. Cocoa that is slightly bitter and slightly sweet, a little iris and citrus....honestly this fragrance isn't my style, but it's not horrible by any means. I could see myself wanting to reach for this sample again so I'll keep it. I don't think this will last long on my skin though. It's already been an hour and I can barely detect it unless I put my nose right up to my wrist.

So far I only like Prada Candy Kiss from the Candy line, but I would like to try the other scents eventually.

demonpuff

Bitter cacao in a decidedly inedible way. A little too bitter for me. I like my fragrances to have more sweetness. Perhaps my nose is still too novice, but I almost think of bug spray when I smell this. I layered it with Burning Cherry and it smelled like a delicious choco-cherry dessert. I'll continue to keep playing with this. // Update: It's taken me a while to warm up to Neroli - I think that's what pulls "bug spray" to me with some scents. This one, however, is delicious. After a little bit the Neroli calms down. The dry-down is decadently dark but sweet chocolate with orange oil. I have a few chocolate fragrances in my collection but this one stands apart.

perfumesniffer

“SUBTLE Cocoa Dusted Iris”

Starts with some citrus, which lessens, then the powdery cocoa emerges overlayed with a steely cool iris. I like this. It’s subtle and classy. Iris lovers could enjoy this if they like different takes on Iris. The cocoa powder isn’t particularly chocolatey, just hints at it like sniffing a tin of unsweetened cocoa powder. The very far dry down, if you can even smell it after an hour or two, is a vanilla-clean musk-Iris. This is definitely not potent or long lasting enough for me but it’s a unique scent I crave once in a while.

Scent 9/10 (excellent)
Longevity 3/10 (poor)

AuthenticAF

I only wore this one time, i did like it, but i am not sure how much yet. I will come back after i really wear it a few times.

Edit: i love the dry cacao and musk. I wear it as a bedtime fragrance. It really doesnt last that long, but while it does it is fantastic!

likesleet

i get a powdery semisweet chocolate at first, which quickly fades into a licorice / patchouli combo that is kind of sour and bitter? dries down into a warm woody vanilla on my skin.

mschnabel666

There was a purple-pinky limited edition of Coca-Cola called STARLIGHT in the US and it tasted exactly like Prada Candy Night smells. CREEPY.

Mara9

I like it but don't love it. It lasts a long time, but to me, the cocoa was quite overpowering and nauseous. I wore it to the office and by the end of my work day I wanted to rub it off my skin! If you're into heavy cocoa fragrances then this is for you! Its definitely not a safe blind buy.

I'm selling a brand new 80ml in Greece, if you want it send me a DM.

chlorodream

I’m convinced now that Prada release the most long lasting, true-to-notes, delicious and well thought out perfumes of all the big brands. This, like many Prada frags, is utterly gorgeous.

Much less sickly sweet than the original (to my nose that is, I don’t DO sweet perfumes generally), and the exact scent of a posh chocolate shop, Prada Candy Night is a delight, and definitely best worn at night. Strikes a chillingly lovely balance between sexy and cosy, this could be a signature for night time for somebody who loves chocolate scents (which I do, but not for me).

It smells like a warm cup of cocoa in a posh hotel lobby in the autumn night. Somewhat oxymoron-esque, yet charming. A strong like for me!

consistentresearchpractic

picked this one up because of prada's 'ugly chic' vibe. this one delivers, very pleased with the way that it evades being a straightforward dessert gourmand. the creeping smell of cigarette (probably from the coffee, patchouli, dark choc combination?) really makes this stand out. I'm a fan, I tend to wear this to the pub. It's nice with a pint of Guinness.

Chocobaby

This really surprised me. I didn’t like the original Prada Candy (just the name and the notes feel very girlie sweet) so I resisted trying anything Candy related. I recently came across a sale on this. Having read the reviews and looked up the notes, I took the plunge and blind bought this. The first spray was bright with orange, then immediately the chocolate came through. It was a dark chocolate with a bit of bitterness, I was intrigued. I don’t have anything with a bitter chocolate note. The closest was Guerlain Gourmand Coquin where the chocolate is much sweeter. I let this sit a little and it settled into a soft iris wth vanilla peeking through. Another 10 minutes, it became a sweet vanilla with a tiny bit of dark rich chocolate. I like this. So totally out of my norm.

Lulu04

Realistic chocolate scent with a touch of bitter orange. I think it's the neroli that is making it kind of a unique one, and is also probably what's making a lot of people dislike it and not the patchouli in the base which I am not picking at all. It's a 😍 for me.

mayrizzlemynizzle

if someone asked me what is the worst perfume you've ever smelled it would literally be this one ): its so dark and chocolatey and usually when I don't like a perfume on me I still acknowledge the fact that its still good just not on me but this one literally is just bad it smells like a chunk of wet wood that's been sitting out in the rainfall with dark heavy chocolate and the patchouli makes it smell like a cig. I couldn't rub this scent off of me so the longevity is 8/10 but in conclusion I rate this 0/10

Kaylovely

The gourmand composition of the new edition is composed of orange essence, cacao, chocolate, caramel, vanilla and white musk. It is conceived as a contradiction between the fresh energy and addictive sweetness of the notes.

This is good, I have chocolate ranging from $15 - $1330. This is superb. Reminds me of a coconut macaroon cookie with chocolate glaze.
So if your looking for a chocolate coconut caramel vibe this is it. I haven't tried the Samoas girl scout but imagine this to be the scent.
In comparison to the longevity, sillage. Mid range, to be designer it holds up. If it were niche... probably not.
Beats so many IMO!! This and Vicious Cacao are a hit.
Last on clothing all day on skin 6 hours. Projecting softly. I get deep dark choc caramel whaffs. Definitely reminds me of PDLN2 by Roja.

So, if you want the new Sand Dance by SHL777 try this!!! Yummy

Also the longevity on skin is phenomenal. Sprayed it on my wrist last night still here. I've even dabbed on other scents and they've faded. I keep smelling the spot I sprayed CN still pumping. Had me thinking I dabbed something new there. I was actually trying to realize what it was. 🤣🤣

ASHLeeperfume!

Surprisingly long lasting on clothes, sillage isn't great but not terrible. Smells like powdery chocolate with a hint of orange. Like it but its not a love however the bottle is beautiful!

amyaz

Interesting I never looked up the notes for this. When I would sell it at work I would always say it smelled like coffee to me, and customers would almost always agree. Now I know it's probably the cocoa. Its definitely grown up chocolatey, not montale chocolate greedy or comptoir sud's amour cocoa- type chocolate scents. There is definitely something powdery about this on my skin.

I don't hate it but I don't know if it's FB worthy either, I've had a roller of it for two years but never reach for it, not a safe blind buy imo.

Bebeck

I definitely get the dark chocolate orange and musk but not enough imo. The floral aspect I don't like. There's something synthetic and headachey and a little immature to me. And they tend to dominate.
Reminds me of the Charlie body sprays or something my friends wore when I was a teen.

Pretty disappointed as was hoping for something a bit more mature but still gourmand like JPG Scandal By Night.
The joy of perfumes though is it's each to their own and we can't all like the same thing. This was a blind buy so didn't know what to expect aside from reading the fragrance notes.
I will wear it when I don't want to use up my favourite perfumes.

Very long lasting and big sillage fragrance, a lot better performance than any other candy flanker. Powdery but also incredibly chocolatey, almost like walking into a candy shop in Belgium but instead of milk chocolate it's dark chocolate. On the sweeter side, but isn't too sweet; the patchouli and iris give it some seductive, creamy but also slightly floral vibes. It also kinda reminds me of casino air (not in like...the stale, sweaty air; I mean it in the perfumey pleasant smell that seems to be sprayed everywhere). Unique and attention-grabbing, I love it <3

Edit: all the compliments I receive about this are ones telling me I smell like cookies :)

Stoned.Zombie.Cat

If you want to smell like chocolate, this is the perfume for you!
But it doesn't smell like a sweet chocolate, definitely a little bitter, like dark chocolate or baking chocolate.

I think its something about the way the iris, Tonka bean and vanilla work together that makes it smell like chocolate.

Honestly this fragrance layers well with other chocolatey perfumes. I love to layer it with Lolita Lempicka's "Sweet" to make a really chocolatey cherry scent

x.rina.x

This my favorite from the Candy line. I like the original candy too, i'm a gourmand lover but i noticed that i can't stand caramel in some fragransces. But the the candy line's members are lovely, flirty, well maded sweet gourmands. Not cloyingly tooth ache sweet gourmand like some of out there.
Candy night - the choosen name is perfect- has the same DNA as the original, but it has a more deeper darker lightly bitter and sensually side because of the infused chocolate ( the iris gives some powderly affect for the choc, so this turns the creamy choc into a dark cocoa powder scents.)But the powderly accords doesn't mislead anybody. Yes it has a powderly and a very slightly airy aspect which works against (with the orange note too) that the scent become cloying. And this makes it more mature than the original version. But it's furthermore a rich & alluring scent. More over the bitter orange note gives a nice twist to the fragrance and amends perfectly & beautifully the chocolate note. So if u are a gourmand lover who find the original candy too simple, flat, sweet, or juvenile or u like the original but u could prefer more a multidimesional, deeper variant of it, i think this one worth a try. In my opinion it's a temptating sexy date night gourmand. ( but i have to mention, it's still juvenil if u like tom ford lost cherry, or more comlex like kilian black to black as dark deep sweet seductive date night scents)

Spooky_KiKi

I'm pretty new so take everything I say with a grain of salt lol. All I get is violet, bitter orange and patchouli. Maybe a bit of powdery cacao? I thought this would be perfect as I remember smelling original prada candy years ago and loved it. This doesn't even smell sweet to me. I'm pretty basic and unrefined so I layered with choco musk by al rehab and I love it that way. Otherwise it's unbearable.
Update: my husband smells incredible with this!! Maybe it just doesn't mesh well with me, maybe it just reads masculine idk. I'm just glad it's getting some use.

erika.isme.98

Tried this with my bf in Sephora and we agree it smells like a raincoat or a vinyl lol it's fine though still a bit sweet

CeeTheAurtist

Candies oranges in the opening and perfumey tootsie rolls is what I get in the dry down. I kind of like it though. Still prefer the OG to this but this is a fun flanker. I wouldn’t repurchase.

irlfireprincess

If you don’t like patchouli I’d avoid this. I sprayed this at Sephora and thought to myself, “wow, this is awful. What is that awful herbal antiseptic thing I’m smelling right now?” Double checked the notes and saw there is patchouli in this. That’s all I get at first spray even though it’s meant to be a base note! Once it begins to dry down, the iris comes in, and it’s very powdery. Someone else may love this, but it just so happens to be two of my least favorite things in one bottle: prominent patchouli and strong powder.

lid-555

I'm a big fan of the whole candy line so this review might be a bit biased.
First of all I love the opening! It's like a tangy chocolate candied orange type of burst from the start.
This last a few minutes and starts to mellow into the main smooth chocolate smell that lingers quite close
to the skin. There is a warmness that I feel continues throughout the fragrance so it's very cozy and comforting
type of smell. It has that soft floral prada dna running through it for sure. The iris here lends a powdery note but it's very subtle for me and not taking over the chocolate. Overall one of my favorites if not my favorite from the line.

Lalunalynn

Hmmm, I'm not sure about this one yet. The opening was promising but then all of a sudden I was reminded of Vanderbilt. Remember that? This totally has that vibe, but it's warmer and more Gourmand. I'm also reminded of Parma violets with this for some reason. It's nice, but will never be a love.

natasha28

This def smells like it's a flanker of the line. Sweet powdery with chocolate added, with a kind of woody fire scent (warm spice). smells very gormound when first sprayed. Maybe its a bit similar to Dior poison girl. Could be worn night during fall winter. Silliage is 6 feet. It's nice, bit in wouldn't buy it myself. I might consider keeping it if gifted a small bottle. Age could be from 20-60 yr range. I like it. Lasts a long time, 12+ hours at arm's length silliage. I think it's a bit too sweet to wear everyday as the chocolate could get a bit cloying. I think Angel Muse by Mugler would be easier to wear daily.

Burgundy Jayde

I went to Monroeville mall today to try this they didn't have a bottle out to spray on my skin but they did have an open bottle under the counter I asked the girl working there if I could try it and instead of her letting me put it on my skin she gave me this little tiny spray on a a little paper card to try I couldn't get the full effect of it because of it. She acted like she paid for herself I was so mad I just left the store. I guess it smelled ok. Different than what I imagined but I wish I could of tried it on my skin. The women that work at the counters are miserable. Underpaid and miserable.

sondermelon

My roommate's boyfriend got this along with L'Homme. Wow, wow, wow! I'm a big fan of the chocolate and patchouli base. I usually only smell it on him after it dries down since I don't really hang out with him, but this is a really nice scent. It's very sweet.

AmarilisV

This is a BEAUTIFUL scent. This is my second favorite in my entire collection. It wasn’t love at first sniff because of that sharp musky note at the beginning. But once I realized that you smell such a warm and inviting gourmand right after, I quickly realized that the musk was OK. I love this fragrance. Highly recommend for anyone that loves smelling delicious. Just let the musk settle, I promise you will love it!!! I get a lot of musk, a deep chocolate, and rich caramel. Very nice, the musk tones down the sweetness!

Agar

Unusual scent, on me people say it smells a bit like tobacco.
I really think this would be great for patchouli lovers as that’s the main note I get.
Overall a very sensual winter scent, very classic ‘dark academia’ scent 7/10

Dragonweengs

Love this scent! I’m so glad I get exactly what the pyramid shows. It is a cocoa fragrance (think cocoa powder) unsweetened and dark. The neroli and bitter orange are strongest in the opening and subside to the background, but remain throughout the longevity. You can detect the Prada Candy DNA but they’re different. I can enjoy it year round due to the bitter orange and neroli adding a bit of freshness to the cocoa composition. The vanilla and tonka smooth it out.

I imagine a dark chocolate dessert made with neroli water and orange zest and a dusting of cocoa powder on top!

2whit2quit

Maybe Sephora had a poorly aged tester, because my nose is picking up the chocolate in this as dusty, stale cigarette smoke and nothing more.

Sachlotta

Completely agree with the previous review. to me it purely smells like coffee grounds. Weirdly sour. I don't really like it. Beautiful bottle though.

MaxieF

I dont personally think this smells like chocolate. It actually smells to me like dark roast coffee grounds. It smells slightly burnt. Doesn't last very long. Doesn't project.

mariakok

Pretty similar to OG Candy but with a hint of chocolate, the mix of the notes reminds me of Italian amaretti biscuits (could be the orange and neroli). The OG is much better and complicated for me but I don’t hate this either

Sugarpoiso

This smells like a better executed Choco Violette by mancera. Smoother with the Prada Candy DNA in the background. The Coco is subtle but nice

alyssaaa33

This makes me smell like a chocolate snack! Some gourmands give me a headache, but this one doesn’t. Subtle & sexy!!

Szilvita

I'm surprised that some people can't smell the cocoa or only faintly, because that's almost the only thing I can smell. Raw cocoa.

The opening is not nice, very dry and bitter. I blame the bitter orange. It softens up a bit with time. I would have liked it to be a less sharp cocoa scent than what it is.

This Candy series in general quickly turns into skin scents. This one is the one I find the strongest.

mirrorghost

i get a lot of neroli, bitter orange and chocolate at first, followed by tonka, vanilla and iris. the orange/neroli notes dominate for several minutes, then finally the iris and chocolate get stronger and balance the orange notes somewhat. it dries down to a neroli vanilla with hints of chocolate. this one is kind of nice, not a love but still pretty. i have not tried many prada scents and none of the prada candy line, so have nothing to compare this to. this is a really long lasting neroli on me.

Genvicii_

I only get iris, Tonka bean and vanilla. Cacao is non existent for me. I was very hyped for this but if you’re expecting it to have a strong chocolate note you better off finding something else. Also it becomes a skin scent very quick. I’ve had body sprays stronger than this:/ smells nice but it’s just not giving

Edit: ok so it is a bit stronger than a body mist but it’s weird it’ll come and go. And I had to do about 4-5 sprays to finally smell the chocolate. Overall smells nice but your better off buying it on Mercari Or something rather than retail. Not worth the full price.

Not_a_perfume_junkie

The interesting thing is I get a minty blast on first smell. Odd. Unexpected. Then it's gone.

I'd say this whole line is unoriginal and overpriced. It is an obvious cash grab for the younger dollars. I would expect something a little more interesting from a design house like Prada. I feel this has been done just as well in celebrity fragrance. Maybe not this exact scent but the vibe is there.

My prediction is the candy line will end up at Ross consistently for $20. Then it'd be worth the money.

Perfumedsecrets

Pretty bottle, but the cap sprayer is terrible quality for the price. I’m going to keep testing it. It’s a soft iris tonka with a sort of mossy patchouli note and not enough chocolate. I was expecting something more like Chocolovers minus the major sweetness and soft spice. I wish the Candy line lasted longer, but I suppose it’s meant to be underwhelming. More discreet. I’ve seen it on clearance, so I suspect it’s being discontinued.

eau de dosa

I guess I’m an official gourmand, sweet scent lover! This reminds me of YSL libre intense but with chocolate and powder. Wish it lasted longer and was stronger

Catnipple

The opening smells like a sharp powdery cat poop, but when it dries down it smells like the OG Candy with a slight hint of dark cocoa powder and an even slighter bitter orange scent.

egoz97

Smells the same throughout first spray and drydrown. I like it though, not my favorite but I recommend if you are a gourmand lover. To me I smell white chocolate, marshmallow and also a hint of booziness. Reminds me of Britney Spears private show. This fragrance is very sweet!

hsiangchi.huang

My favourite from the entire Prada house. Yes, it's better than the OG Prada Candy, hands down! It's dark, sexy, mysterious, delicious... all of that!

This is what I call "gourmand". There's chocolate, vanilla, tonka beans... all the good stuff to make your mouth water, yet not childishly sweet like Candy.

I'd have grabbed a bottle already if the design isn't so tacky, and the sprayer isn't so abrasive.

BellaElle

Sorry Prada. Candy is one of my two signature fragrances, but Candy Night had me thinking about petroleum products. I really wanted to love this one, too. I'm sure it's just my chemistry, but it was a big "no, thank you" for me.

Queen of torts

Strong and sharp when first sprayed. Reminds me of Clinique Aromatics in Black on first spray. Dries down to a sweet and slightly bitter chocolate.

MnM

I wanted to love it, but I should've known better, the Prada Candy line is just not a good line. I tried it at Sephora and liked it, a little dark and not sweet. Fast forward to my purchase... Sprayed about 6 time (I'm an oversprayer :)), but very soon after, it lost any kind of projection and stayed close to the skin, eventually becoming a basic soft vanilla :( I like vanilla notes, but not vanilla frags and definitely don't care for skin scents. I gave it to my daugher.

glitterizer

The opening of this is SO unpleasant and bitter, it takes a good 5 to 10 minutes to go away. Not bitter as in perfume-y bitter, but just "wrong" and burnt. The next phase is a make-up like powdery smell with the faintest hint of cocoa sweetness. The sweetness is amplified a bit on a paper strip, but on my skin it stays very dry and inedible. Longevity is decent, but it doesn't project at all.

Egaines23

Hmm… I don’t smell dark chocolate or even chocolate at ALL. However, it does smell sweet, powdery and like vanilla. I definitely smell the plastic/synthetic smell as well. It’s not terrible. I like it but I can’t say I love it just yet.

LSAUG

I bought a sample of this so I could go over the mark to get free shipping. I was buying a back up bottle of Joy Forever. My husband loves gourmand scents, vanilla etc... I really liked Prada's Infusion de Rose so I thought I would try something from the Prada Candy line. I picked the one I thought would be less sweet. This smells like chocolate mixed w/ florals and oranges but super synthetic smelling. I knew it was going in but many synthetic perfumes smell very realistic, this does not. It is very linear like most gourmands. I'm always disappointed in this genre so it just may not be for me. But if you want to smell like a strange, stale dark orange chocolate bar that has been dipped in floral water you will like this one. Ps... this also give me a slight headache.

HummusLover33

I actually really like this despite the initial spray being horrendous. The first few seconds are pretty bad, I think it’s the patchouli, chocolate and iris combining and they smell like dirt. It goes away really quickly and I’m hit with a cocoa dusted Prada Candy, the DNA is definitely there, it’s not as sweet as the original though. A nice powdery vanilla chocolate scent.

mossmouse

I was really disappointed by this when I first got it, it reminded me of chocolate scented baby powder. But then I let it sit in a drawer for a few weeks and tried it again and it's actually something I'll wear now. It's still a powdery chocolate but that gross talc, chemically smell that I got at first is gone. Now it's much more pleasant and sweet. I wish I got more of the bitter orange, patchouli and vanilla in this because it pulls mostly chocolate and iris on me, but it's inoffensive if a bit generic. It just kind of lacks the depth and longevity that I usually look for in sweet gourmands. It's a very safe fragrance.

TabledThoughts

For me this is a bit of a let down.
Prada dna for sure but the cocoa is rather lacking making it just a generic scent imho.

Happily, from the line, Candy Kiss hit a homerun.

stigmataxe

This perfume is essentially a less sweet Prada Candy with cacao added. It's a dry dark chocolate, very rich and not very candy-like. More bitter and almost smells salty. If you were expecting a milk chocolate scent, that is not what you're gonna get. I'm in my teens and I'm currently going through my sickly sweet fragrances phase. This seems like something I'd appreciate when I'm a bit older. Not for me, but it could be for someone out there.

lovealwaysalisa

On first sniff this triggered a specific scent memory. It reminds me of those chocolate covered marshmallow Santas at Christmas time. Powdery sweet cocoa powder. Perfect for the holidays or even mixing with other fragrances.

Ashalia

Whoa cocoa! I've been hesitant to buy this for years, as the reviews list it as a warm, night-time scent, and those typically aren't my favorite. But, I was pleasantly surprised. The first few minutes after spray were a bit overwhelming. I'm not sure how to describe the smell, but it was very strong and spicy. After it settled, the chocolate smell that everyone has been describing came through. However, it's not a sweet candy smell. I would describe it as an unsweetened cocoa, like what is used in baking. You know, the one that you think is going to taste awesome when you're a kid, but is super bitter because it hasn't been sweetened. This scent sits very close to the skin and doesn't project well. This would be a great intimate smell for a date night. I love the bottle's colors. It definitely stands out among the Prada Candy line.

cassiesta

This is one where I love it when I test it at the store, but the one I purchased (which I wish hadn't been the biggest size) doesn't have the depth and enough cocoa, which makes it very similar to Cocoa & Cashmere from Clinique. I need to test this some more, but it's just kind of boring compared to Angel Muse Eau de Toilette which is my new favorite chocolatey perfume (with nutella as well). I can see Muse EDT working in the fall/winter too in addition to warm weather, so maybe this would be something I'd reach for when I want something less fruity and softer. I guess I need to test this one some more, but it's not the deep chocolatey scent I remember, maybe it needs some time to set and deepen up. This has gone from a love to a like after testing it a few times, hopefully that will change.

Veizi

Oh my goodness here we go.. I can feel this fragrance becoming my baby. It’s simply gorgeous, delicious, edible-smelling, warm, comforting, mysterious and unique and I feel like it fits me and my personality perfectly. I dislike the original Prada candy, but this one…lord it’s amazing! I blindly bought the 50 ml bottle but I should’ve gotten the 80 ml one. Sad. This is intoxicating and I can’t stop smelling my wrist right now. I pray it lasts quite long.
On the first spray I smell dry cocoa powder/dark chocolate mixed with orange and then it becomes very edible: it makes me think of some sort of pastry filled with chocolate/hazelnut cream that just came out the oven as I get a lot of vanilla, chocolate and tonka bean and maybe a hint of orange, and also patchouli and neroli but just in a tiny quantity. I don’t smell any iris. Thankfully I mostly get chocolate & vanilla!

kittensfur

Gorgeous. This stands out beautifully in the Prada Candy line and easily takes my pick for being the strongest in the collection (composition and performance wise). I have this in the travel size (which is a roller-ball) and even the smallest dab across my elbow and wrists makes the biggest impact. To me this smells like a cherry chocolate liquor mixed with vanilla extract and orange peel. This is a gourmand but not in the "mmm so yummy sweet warm cookie" kind of way. It's cold, sexy and very smart. Perfect for someone looking for a more gourmand scent while seemingly disliking the traditional tropes. This lasts pleasantly and has moderate projection. I think this is more of a cool weather/indoor scent but I have yet to test it in the heat.

danidgq

Deep, DARK chocolate! This is not a warm-creamy scent, it's more of a cold-dry type of scent if that makes any sense. It is also slightly bitter but in the best way possible.

It's just gorgeous! I was initially looking to purchase Cafe Tubersosa, but then I sampled this and it also has that ground coffee type of smell even though it's not in the notes.

SailorCupcake

This is such a unique, warm fragrance. It opens up with a fresh note of orange on top of the traditional Prada Candy opening, then develops into a deep, rich cocoa. An unsweeted cocoa. It's a little spicy, a little sweet, and definitely decadent and delicious. This is a great scent for cold weather!

Marisa36

Not what I expected at all. I get a lot of Neroli in the opening. So much so that it reminded me of 4711 cologne initially. Settles into a soft vanilla on my skin. Unfortunately I do not get a lot of chocolate. It sort of smells like the silver/gold chocolate foil wrapped around bitter chocolate when it dries down. Not overly sweet at all and doesn’t smell cheap. Very cozy skin scent and can’t stop sniffing my wrists. Almost the same vibe as Angel, but without the headache and feeling like you’re being suffocated. Love it and will probably get another full bottle when it runs out.

Olfa

I think this is overpriced for the performance and the fragrance itself. I tried every Prada Candy flanker and if you find the original so sweet and less mature yes you can go for this one which is much more dry, stable and faint.
Chocolate note is not chocolate I’ll warn you for that. Because it’s really a no sweet fragrance but a very finely powdered Turkish coffee scent. I hear coffee rather than cocoa in this. So no chocolate but maybe a solid cocoa powder overwhelms the opening.
If you like contrasting smells I’m sure this candy is for that type of people. But this made me want the original candy more. Thanks prada, a nice way of letting people buy the other fragrance by creating a worse version of an original.

tami.creese

I love Prada Candy Night... However, I've never used a bottle of parfum so fast. It doesn't last on me at all. Looking for my next scent due to this awesome scent's lack of longevity. Great scent...but weak for me.

sassa7

The most candy-like of the Candy line, when the Sugar Pop is just slightly tart and then very sweet, but still not candy-like. There is a girly sweet element in this, possibly due to the playful powdery sweet iris, she always does the trick in perfumes, so thats where some powderiness comes from. This is also the closest to the OG Candy so if you wanna go for one, go for this one as it is more dimensional and simply delicious than the more plain, more perfumey powdery-benzoin, oriental and balsamic OG (more mature than Night) that I also started loving. This is more playful, it has some more powdery element to it later on, but the chocolate truly smells like chocolate in the opening, and as it sits on the skin it is reminiscent of pure cocoa powder. Not sharp chocolate as in Angel EDP, but a sweet real chocolate scent, not milk chocolate either, the tonka I believe keeps it deeper, darker like the name denotes, NIGHT. From opening to drydown and its last stage its amazing. Im glad it doesnt have cacao as it never smells good on me with very few exceptions. It doesnt also smell dusty at all (the Florale kinda does but in a sunny-honey way, not as in stale). If it does smell dusty then your bottle is old and stale.

Patvana

I agree with the review below me. It’s definitely better than the original Prada candy. This one has more of dimensions too it and I like the notes better. It’s creamy and sweet for me

Lalouve<3

This is so lovely and lasts and projects better than all the prada candy flankers (original included). I don't get orange either (even better for me), what I get right away is cocoa with some spice and I wondered what the combo reminded me of... and then I realised it reminds me of a chocolate lebkuchen caramel toffee (the spice I was picking up was ginger). Also in the drydown, this is more caramel-y than the original prada candy which fades into a soft vanilla sugar skinscent. <3

edit:
1. this can be layered nicely on top of armani code satin , since satin has also a cacao note it it ;).

2.Also, as I was re-reading the reviews, I saw a couple of people mentioning that it doesn't last more than 20-30 minutes-most of them also mentioned overspraying. My advice to them is: do not overspray - some perfumes become stronger the more you spray (I do not agree with this practice anyway), but some are more ethereal, it is their nature (doesn't necessarily mean they are weak) , and this is one of those perfumes. It is ethereal, overspraying will get you the opposite results - also don't spray on your neck - just arms. And get out, start walking, do your errands, enjoy the day... and you will get delicious whiffs of this perfume as you go... This isn't a heavy perfume, it is meant to act this way.If however, you want sth heavier with a constant smelling stronger sillage, then this perfume isn't for you.

newest edit: If you want that cacao-chocolatey yumminess of the prada night but with longer projection and longevity and a bit more oomph, armani code cashmere is for you - that is, if you can find it...-You're welcome...??? :p

DaniBear1121

I love almost everything about Prada Candy Night. On my skin, this resembles a sexy cocoa butter scent, which I get sounds weird but I actually really like it. The cacao, vanilla, caramel, and musk are all present. I do not get any orange. I love the bottle and the whole vibe of this fragrance. The part that makes me a little disappointed is the sillage being so intimate, and the longevity isn't great. I can appreciate the more intimate sillage for date night purposes though!

hsiangchi.huang

This is better than the original imo. Darker, yummier and just overall more pleasing. The cacao here is distinct and authentic, and is perfectly complemented by the caramel. It's a gourmand frag in line with chocolate, brown sugar, caramel and all the dark sweet things.

EndlessFragranceHolic

I'm really disappointed in this cause I heard it's a chocolate fragrance. But for me, I couldn't get the chocolate at all as it was smelling like cosmetics too much. It feels like I can't dare to eat this fragrance at all. Plus, I get orange notes quite strongly, which I think do not really go well with chocolate if it is too strong.

MissAnnette

So disappointed that I didn’t get any cacao/chocolate at all. I only got linear mix of vanilla and caramel. No orange and chocolate. Safe gift for caramel lovers. The bottle is my favorite in the candy line.

tristan99

The drydown of this smells like 90`ies Lou Lou. Dissapointed. This is suppose to smell like choclate but i only smell sweet spices. A pass.

perfume_angel

this is a dry cocoa powder scent, smells like actual unsweetened cocoa powder. it is good for the winter time but longevity is very bad as usual with prada perfumes. but smells nice

CreamSunshine

This fragrance smells about 90% like baby powder to me for the first half hour. After that, the baby powder settles down a little bit to let the tiniest hint of cacao scent come through. It is not actually a gourmand fragrance, to my nose.

Update: I’ve smelled unsweetened cocoa powder many times, and I have a bag of pure cacao in my pantry. To me, this fragrance does not smell like those. I don’t mean to say anything negative about someone’s favorite perfume, but for review purposes I think it’s good to help others who may be considering blind buying, and let them know that some people will mainly smell baby powder (not cocoa powder) in this fragrance.

GabrielleeeeeW

So far I have not been impressed with the Candy line (Candy Gloss is nauseating and the OG Candy is very weak), but this one is the best out of the 3. It comes across as very powdery on me. It subsided a little bit on the dry down but it reminds me more of cocoa powder than a rich chocolate orange truffle (I got no orange). I love edible gourmands and I would say Candy Night doesn't come across as edible because of the powder. Longevity was a few hours so this seems to best the best performing out of the ones I've tried. Versatile I think, doesn't scream night, would probably work best in cooler weather.

Peepy

Love it! When I first spray it on I get a cloud of unsweetened cocoa powder, and after sitting on the skin for a while it transforms into a beautiful creamy, slightly sweet orange chocolate truffle with a hint of vanilla.

Miruna

Cacao Prada Candy.
Literally in seconds after spraying it I get anosmic and I cam only smell it a few good minutes later.
It starts with cacao, then nothing(to my nose), then the original Candy dna with cacao.
Since I am not able to smell it at all times I am having mixed feelings about the purchase, but I do like it-as much as I can smell. I think it is a delicious intimate fragrance.

ahmosenefertari

Many people complain about the longevity. It is not a problem for me. It lasts 5h minimum, but I live in a warm weather.

This is cocoa powder, unsweteened at the first spray. On the dry down, it mixes more with the vanilla and a hint of caramel and becomes more gourmand, close to a dark chocolate. I really like this, it is quite unique and since it is almost linear, it pairs well with other fragrances. I've layered it with La Vie est Belle Intensement, and it becomes a gourgeous gourmand scent, with more depth than LVEB and not as dry as Prada, very warm and cozy

aspirina

Prada Candy + more caramel, a little bit stronger with added cocoa powder notes. Very nice scent, sexy and cozy but sadly with very poor longevity and soft sillage on my skin.

fanntonyoscar

I’m prone to migraines, but never once has this caused one. This is the absolute only perfume I can tolerate for that reason. It’s so heavenly that I can almost hear angels singing when I spray it on. Lol seriously, though, it’s a sweet, delicious cocoa and orange on the initial spray, and then the vanilla appears in the dry down. It’s the most delicious scent I’ve ever encountered, yet the sillage and longevity are comparable to a one night stand with the man of my dreams. The scent disappears way too soon. That’s ok, though... I love it so much that I could literally bathe in it, so I just spray it again when it wears off. It takes twice as much as the competition, but it smells ten times better so it’s a fair trade, IMO.

tami.creese

Pretty decent blind purchase. The longer I wear it, the more I like it. I hate purchasing fragrance without testing, so I took a chance on the reviews for this one from Prada. I agree with most of the positive reviews so far. I just returned home as it arrived in the mail...tried it on, and...at first, wasn't too sure about it initially...but started really enjoying the dry down. We'll see how long it lasts, but I'll definitely be wearing this as my daily. The price from Costco was difficult to pass up, so I took a chance. Pretty good so far. Prada de Iris (sp?) was always my favorite until it was discontinued. On a super positive note, this will definitely do until I find the PERFECT signature scent, in which I'll definitely have to test prior to purchase.

UPDATE: I purchased this awesome fragrance one week ago. Although I LOVE all the notes and its combination...THIS FRAGRANCE HAS NO LONGEVITY & SILLAGE!!! I'm so sad. I'll keep it, but I literally have to bathe in it, and it still evaporates into nothing 30 min later. I have inexpensive body sprays that last longer. This parfum appears extremely watered down. I expected way better quality from Prada. Great combination, but very poor quality.

Sol0013

This is yummy. 😋 I have the dry down on a sample card. I get vanilla and cacao. I can smell orange but to me it's a very synthetic smell. In a nice way tho. This would make a great winter fragrance. It's not too loud or too sweet. I'd wear this indoors and even at an office job.

Update:
I ordered a decant of this to give it a full shot before buying a full bottle. I don't know what is happening, but strangely, I don't get the orange that I smelled at store. I only get sugar. I'm thinking what if they sent me Prada Candy by mistake!
Anyways... eventhough I really liked what I smelled at the store, I'm gonna pass this one cause it barely lasts. And I'm really sad now :(

2nd update:
I almost finished my decant and I don't think there's anything wrong with it. This perfumes turns into a burnt sugary smell on my skin and then fades away within less than 10 mins! On clothes, it stay longer (about 30mins) and I can smell a hint of cacao a little of that orange. But no silliage what so ever! I need to dig my nose to my clothes to smell something!

Overall, I don't think this perfume doesn't worth the price. Unless you're a collector and you want the bottle.

I remember sniffing this on paper in a store and not being super impressed.
Then I saw it for a great price from Costco online ($63.99 for the 2.7 oz) and couldn't help it.
Now that I have it, I really enjoy it.
For some reason, the initial spray has a weird dusty smell to it. Once it dries down though, it is beautiful.
It's sweet and I get the vanilla & orange but I don't get as much cocoa right away. It shows up as it dries down further. I don't think you could go wrong with this if you like original Prada Candy.

PlanetGrl

I was both disappointed and pleasantly surprised by Candy Night. The sillage and longevity is absurd for what this frag costs—it’s gone in minutes! But that cocoa on top is unexpectedly good, so I’ll keep this, even though my partner doesn’t care for it. Its longevity is such that I think this would be impossible to overspray. I may try layering with another frag to see if that’s helps.

adeline057

I really like this one, a very classy evening chocolate scent. Smells like chocolate orange, a little bit fruity. Doesn't last very long though.

Cyphre

I purchased some samples of several of the Prada Candy line, and Night just won my heart. My complaint is it has about a 30 minute lasting time on me. I love the smell of this stuff though so I bought a FB. I just apply it several times a day and that keeps it going!

Warm, cozy, lazy. Sweet but not too sweet.

Nataliemarie

I liked this at Ulta, but never buy there. I bought this online & am very surprised it's about 95% close to the original. I'm smelling he Cocoa, but not enough. They should have put more. I will not repurchase, I guess my sniffer was off at Ulta, smelling other things in the store. I sold my OG Prada Candy, but I might keep this one for a cozy scent. I Love Prada OG (Amber) & PC Kiss, but this is just a soft skin scent that's just OK to me. I have over 500 in my insane collection, & I am downsizing. Decluttering is happnin' on YT if you are interested, this will be in there ;) Natalie N On Youtube

I don't get any of the cacao that everyone is talking about unfortunately :( On me this smells like an earthy version of the original Prada Candy (which I used to love but not own anymore). I was quite shocked first time I smelled it since this was a blind buy. However, I have come to absolutely love this fragrance and how unique it is. Its sweet, powdery caramel mixed with a very bitter earthy undertone. So my advice is; give it a chance! The dry down is simply amazing. Unfortunately the sillage and longevity is not the best - which is the only drawback with this fragrance.

Overall rating 8.5/10.

Duft Liebe

I am very new to the Candy Line, but I find it really enjoyable and easy for any occasion! My personal ranking of the ones, I know:
1. Candy Night - dark chocolate, turning into sweet vanilla
2. Candy Kiss - lovely musk, turning into sweet vanilla
3. Candy Original - cool, not sweet, but a lovely caramel, also turning into a soft vanilla
(-) Candy Gloss I cannot stand, sadly. Now I know, what a plasticky smell is: plastic cherrys. The bottle is gorgeous.
There is this weak staying power to all of them, but with Candy Night and Candy Kiss I am fine (after spraying about 6 times...). As I am at home during lockdown mostly all of the time, I really don´t mind reapplying.
The line is really worth it trying out. There will be one flanker for everyone.

zelelipe

This is yummy! Cocoa mixed with vanilla - its warm and cozy with a lightness that prevents it from being sickly sweet or cloying.

It's a little powdery and the vanilla is a little close to being too synthetic to be in my "loves" and I'm not sure yet if I would re-purchase but I do really enjoy this. Perfect for chilling at home in fall/winter, you can get away with this for day and night although I would probably mix it for night time because it's not very deep and complex.

If you wear this to cuddle up with someone in winter they will probably really enjoy your delicious skin scent. I would say this is a pretty safe gift or blind buy if you like vanilla and chocolate.

I haven't tried the original Candy but I think I will now. I don't get much of the caramel here and wouldn't be mad if there was a little more in here. I imagine if you mix this with the original it would be bomb!

Definitely a feminine scent, however I would not be mad if my man wore this! It has a natural, body lotion type strength (although it does project a little) which is completely inoffensive and can easily be mixed with other scents to give depth and make it either more masculine or more feminine. I wouldn't be surprised if some men enjoyed this fragrance to sleep in because it is so comforting and yummy!

CallMeT__

Redfloyd’s review (below mine) is spot on! This is literally the original Prada Candy + Cocoa, giving me the impression of a hot chocolate powder mixed in with caramel syrup powder and dried out orange peels (not like a bitter orange but something sweet like satsumas). I know this description does not make sense, but that’s how this fragrance perceives on my skin. It’s also nostalgic to me, reminds me of the chocolate milk they gave us at crèche when I was little! Do I like this? YES!! I find it comforting so it’s one I mostly use for bed, or on my cosy-stay-in days! If you enjoy the original there’s a great chance you’ll like this too. Longevity is around 7 hours which is decent, but the fragrance stays close to the skin. I wouldn’t repurchase since I only wear this in-doors, but it’s a decent gourmand fragrance anyway!

RedFloyd

Somebody opened the bottle of the original Prada Candy and added a tablespoon of dark chocolate powder, closed, shook, and BOOM! My new favorite Candy was born!

taylorcake1

Just blind bought this one, she’s a stunner. At first it it’s got a patchouli powdery vibe to me. As it’s drying down I smell the nice cocoa notes. I find this really unique and sophisticated. I imagine a girl in all black with red lipstick wearing this. To me it has a bit of an incense vibe. Like you’ve just gone to a darkly lit concert and you’re headed to a sultry lounge with your friends. Cool girl vibes all the way. So happy to have it.

LadySnowblood

Dusty cacao powder right after spraying, then just some sweet musk... The orange, caramel and vainilla are very subtle. I personally liked the scent in all the stages but the sillage and longevity are very poor... After 2 hours I only can feel it close to my skin where I sprayed it. Because of that I’m wearing this perfume during daytime anywhere cause nobody can really smell it on me unless they are super close!
I expected more, so I’m overall disappointed.

soumayaela

What can i say??? If you want to smell like chocolate and cacao (litteraly) wear this perfume! I don't though....

Not feminine or gourmande, i didn't like it at all 🤔

Unfortunately didn't get the orange or any other note 😔

This is a weird perfume not for everyone

For me: it's a 4/10

sibaraa

A dark dirty gourmand. Very sultry. An acquired taste for sure.

justlikemagic

I think I'm just a sucker for anything Prada Candy at this point. This is really lovely. I will admit that it was not love at first spray - the top note, orange, is not normally a note I really love. However, it doesn't bother me here, which is truly a feat, as I have, in the past, absolutely detested fragrances with strong orange notes. It is a definite blast of orange at the beginning but quickly turns into a powdery orange, which then dries down to this rich, decadent chocolate. When I'm smelling the cacao note here, that's really all I get - I don't get the caramel here, but I also don't really think I get the caramel in the regular/original Prada Candy (and I LOVE the original). This fragrance reminds me of a weekend with the wind blustering outside where you're chopping up quality chocolate into little shavings to make homemade hot cocoa. Really cozy and delightful, but differs enough from the other fragrances in this line that I have tried so far enough to stand out, while also keeping in line with what makes this line so deliciously wonderful.

Bri1125

I wanted to love this. But I completely dislike it - I had to return it.

Here's my thing: I'm a sucker for warm, winter night perfumes. I totally thought this would be a 10/10 for me. However! After one spray I immediately turned my nose up and the first words out of my mouth were "nope". Like many other reviews on here, I agree that this smells like a Tootsie Roll. Prada Candy Night isn't a gourmand, it's not fruity, it's just "chocolate". It has an overwhelmingly sweet cocoa scent with a hint of the original Prada Candy, and in my opinion, the two don't mix very well.

I just feel like if I wore this out in public, people would hate me because of the overwhelming unfamiliar scent. I mean, maybe it just doesn't smell good on me and my chemistry, but I am so disappointed.. I really wanted to love this one.

uno

i dont like the top note.patchouli and cacao make it too earthy.
but the middle, after 15minutes, the scent changes to bitter chocolates.not such sweet as original prada Candy.

handkmommy

To my nose this reminds me of Coty Wild Musk, which is a 10th of the price. Doesn’t last long either. Save your coins. Unless you are a die hard Prada fanatic, you don’t need this.

Scentflower

I've tried Prada Candy and it wasn't for me. It was to powdery and wasn't expecting that from a perfume with candy in the name. However I tried Prada Candy Night and hello!!! Yum!!! So good. I really get the chocolate note everyone talks about. It reminds me of how a chocolate candy bar wrapper smells like after you've opened it and ate the chocolate. That's really the only note that sticks out to me. It's still a little powdery, hence that chocolate wrapper vibe i mentioned. I really love it though. I think its a great perfume no one would dislike. Only negative is that it doesn't last long on my skin. Definitely needs to be resprayed often.

fyetan

Opening: not sweet. Patchouli and chocolate like Angel, with a 90s powder vibe.

Drydown: sweet cocoa puff cereal and caramel. Yummy.

Half hour in: mostly caramel with a touch of chocolate.

This evening I am wearing Prada Candy Night EDP which is the only Prada Candy that I own.
Cacao,Caramel,White Musk,Vanilla,Orange
Very gourmand scent and a cacao powdery texture. I don't get the orange note.To my nose it is a deep dark fascinating smokey scent of Cacao poweder and ashes of burnt Caramel mixed with a hint of white musk. not sweet ,not too spicy but deep and warm,Lasts 4 hours on my skin.mild projection. It is a very strange perfume but I totally enjoy it.Other versions of Prada Candy are nice too but they are not for me.I always test them in the shop but I think I like this night candy much better.

SeauxGood

Anytime I see chocolate and orange together, I immediately anticipate "Tootsie Roll." Prada Candy Night does have some of that same profile. You can smell the caramel also.

Because I'm not a fan of super-sweet scents, I get a little a skittish at the mention of "gourmand." However, this fragrance is more along the lines of a dark or semi-sweet chocolate. It's actually bearable. It's missing that hint of something floral that I usually crave in my fragrances, but that's just a preference thing. I feel like the addition of orange blossom and a coffee note would really elevate this. (Might be a layering idea I play around with later.)

This really isn't half-bad. It's not my style, but I'm enjoying this sample of it, at least. Although it's called "Night," I could see this working any time of day, especially in hot cocoa and cozy sweater weather. Maybe an entry-level gourmand choice for those who don't usually like them.

Palmer Eldritch

I'm not impressed with this either unfortunately. On paper the notes sound incredible however Prada Candy Night is lacklustre on my skin.

First spray I get the orange for like 30 seconds then it turns into cacao....but a dusty cacao powder that's expired. Not chocolatey, gourmand and I don't know where the caramel went.

As it dries down it's linear but that out-of-date cacao powder gets muskier.

The projection on my skin is immensely poor. Just as bad as 'Sweet Like Candy' by Arianna Grande. I have to spray it 10-15 times for decent silage. This is 100% a skin scent from beginning to end.

I love the original prada candy, candy florale and candy gloss, however this one has let me down. Sorry folks! Wish it worked on my skin...

poolsoflaughter

Wow, I got a rollerball in a swap...what a wonderful treat! Such a soft, rich cocoa smell, but creamy smooth. Surprisingly great for hot weather, and there's a touch of warmth/spice. It's not a slap in the face of sweetness, just a hint of sweet & silky musk.

Whify

I'm afraid this is another Candy flanker I'm not impressed with. This one does seem slightly stronger and lasts longer than the others but the scent does not agree with me. It does not smell like chocolate (in my opinion) and is too bitter, powdery and dry.

perfumeaddict97

This perfume smells really nice. It mainly smells of drinking cocoa powder, with the sweetness from the caramel, but chocolate is the very dominant note. If you pay attention, you'll notice the sweet orange note too - it gives it a chocolate orange type of scent, which I like. I still have not noticed any musk notes or vanilla yet. There is also something in it, which reminds me of the Jean Paul classique perfume. I've also not felt like this perfume smells masculine at all, like some people have mentioned. To me it's quite feminine actually.
This perfume to me is a very unique, pleasant, sweet (but not sickly), cozy and enjoyable winter night scent. It could have been one of my top favourites if it lasted longer and projected better. As someone has previously mentioned, it does smell a bit dry, and I can sort of notice a dirty note in it. However, I don't mind that.
If you don't like cocoa scents, and you prefer juicy fruity gourmands, this might not be for you.

Flacon-de-Bonheur

To me this is a weird combinaison. Straight up unsweetened cocoa powder and "perfumey" notes. Not very pleasant. Unsuccessful blind buy.

Paula73

I had high hopes for this fragrance to be a good replacement or similar to Armani Code Satin which is discontinued and impossible to find anymore.
Unfortunately I was majorly disappointed with Prada Candy Night. I got nothing in the notes other than what to my nose was the equivalent to sticking my nose in a tub of cocoa powder. It literally made me nauseous.
Bitter and sickly on my skin even on the dry down.

junoMACguff

I bake frequently and to me this smells like cocoa powder mixed with sugar. It’s dry and dusty. I unfortunately don’t get caramel or vanilla which are two of my favorite notes. This
was an unsuccessful blind buy. Ohh well, it happens!

dglightblue

Candy night, winter, soon test.

Chocolate!

Its got the clean sweet rounded musk nots similar to the original, I have tries a few cacao scents, this one is clean and cool, the hugo boss ones are more white floral and dusky sweet.
Theres an airiness similar to the musk kissversion of candy, and candy pop.

Def a clean chocolate cacao with clean rounded and cool sweet notes. Floral backdrop but it feels clean anand perhaps white florals to add creaminess rather than flowers.

pleasuretoburn

I am also not a fan of the original Candy but I do like this one, and I am relieved that I am not alone in this. Candy Night is warm and sweet, and it feels comforting to me. I got this as a gift from my cousin, and I expected to not care much for it at all, so I was pleasantly surprised. Very sticky-sweet gourmands are not my thing, but over the years I have developed quite a fondness for the occasional chocolate scent (.mark Bohista back in the day, Nest Cocoa Woods are two that I continue to enjoy, though I do not think they share much in common with Candy Night besides the cocoa.) I think that, since my skin tends to really latch onto musk, that is what keeps this one from being just pure sugar syrup on me.

Zosiasbear

The most remarkable thing about fragrances is how differently we react to them and how they reveal themselves on us individually. On me this is a nice smoky chocolate. Just what I would expect from a "Candy Night". It's almost a masculine fragrance on my skin. I don't feel anything synthetic about it. It's powdery but in a powdered cocoa kind of way.

It's not a powerful scent. No competition for Mugler here BUT it's definitely a scent someone would want to cuddle up next to at night.

girldeadbug

Better than the pillar fragrance which just smells of baby powder to me. But it’s meh. I always smelled Night in Ulta and thought I liked it but now that I have a sample vial and can focus on just one fragrance, it’s just okay, definitely not worth the price tag. I don’t get cacao or any chocolate note in this, it’s all caramel, orange, and musk to my nose. But also it’s so soft it becomes a skin scent quickly. I love the Candy bottles so will be on the hunt for a flanker I like, cus I really want a bottle in my collection. But this is not a chocolate perfume.

marylu

Prada Candy Night is beautiful. It's a perfect night time fragrance. On me, it's soft and subtle, with a hint of smokiness but it isn't overpowering and lasts a long time. A beautiful vanilla scent with hints of chocolate and caramel and other notes which I can't distinguish. The bottle is gorgeous and perfect for the fragrance inside.

Candy Night is one of my absolute favorites. I am so pleased to have it in my collection. Thank you so much to the wonderful person who sent me this. You know who you are. :)

Marina.Klr

This fragrance is so delicious, addictive and intoxicating! It smells as if you've rubbed your body with homemade pure ingredients to make a body scrub. The scent makes me imagine mainly strong cocoa powder, almost in a raw form, mixed with sensual vanilla, dipped in sexy caramel, with drops of bitter orange, (detectable all the time) a note that gives the perfume a feminine, non-girly aura. It has the best longevity of all the other flankers, it's the most wintery out of them all & more suitable for night hours. Gourmand, spicy, sweet-but balanced and slightly powdery. Εdible, yet classy. It's a little bit of everything, without exaggerating.
So passionate but also delicate. It kills softly & seduces with grace anyone who smells it... To me it's a huge YES.
Star signs: Taurus, Capricorn

lnoskin

I used to really like this but as it sits in my collection I find that I never reach for it. It kinda smells like chocolate mixed with baby powder and it doesn't last.

codymarieb

This is a lovely, powdery, cacao, soft evening scent. An easy favorite for me in my collection.

It could be a bit heavy for some as it's quite heavy on the powdery-musky aspect, but to me that's what make it - it adds some depth and originality.

Bares some resemblance to Guerlain Eau de Lingerie - but this one is more affordable and heavier on the gourmand side.

Both are very nice. This one I think is sexier.

rebelspywendy

This took 20 minutes to settle into something tolerable on my skin. The first spray was, to my nose, burnt plastic. The dry-down is nice, but the initial smell would deter me from spraying this on the regular. I think Fancy by Jessica Simpson is a much more pleasant, consistent experience for a better price.

Cmed

It's a dislike from me but I'll try to be objective. So the initial spray is pure coco powder. As though you've dropped a jar of it in the kitchen and it's all poufed up getting right into your breathing space. It's not sweet or smooth but quite bitter. Give it a few minutes and the other notes do start to soften it a little. For me, it becomes tolerable, rather than a 'like'. Not a safe blind buy, in my opinion, even if you like the line and coco, as it's quite intense. I can imagine it to be a bit divisive, love or hate. For every compliment you get, there will be a secret dislike.

PhattBass

Smelling this on paper/card does it no justice. You have to test it sprayed on yourself. The first time I smelled this it was sprayed on a paper strip and I hated it. A week later I figured I would test it on my skin to give it a second chance, and WOW, there's a massive difference in the scent. It's delicious, deep, powdery chocolate heaven! From that moment, it instantly became a favorite for me. I love it from beginning to end. It's not sickeningly sweet nor does it smell synthetic. Just the right amount of sweet. It's classy chocolate. I don't detect any orange/citrus notes, though. It's the perfect chocolate fragrance in my opinion. I never want to be without it in my collection.

Lana-Taylor

PS: I’ve never smelled a fragrance like that before though..., there’s no comparison to any perfume out there, there’s still traces of the original Prada Candy but to me it’s coated with a strong cold dried coffee smell, but that’s perhaps only me, and you might just smell chocolate and be delighted, so give it a try anyways and make up your own mind :)

Lana-Taylor

I wanted to love this so bad, Prada Candy is one of my fav perfumes for colder days, or whenever you need comfort, magic, hugs, and crave for caramel sweeties... I absolutely adore the flankers of all Prada Candy lines, and Prada Night beats them all, I was so excited to embrace it and feel magical, I was expecting it would be like falling right into a Prada Night Heaven... but instead, I had the feeling i was falling right into a pit of spilled coffee, and that is all there is to my nose, cold coffee, as if I just had a clumsy late morning and spilled my whole cup of coffee over my myself while rushing to work. After a few hours i smelled my wrist, my clothes and there it was, still cold coffee but now with some faint slightly bit caramel mixed to it, so basically a cold stingy caramel macchiato. Maybe Prada got inspired by YSL Black Opium but to me this went wrong. I’m so dissapointed with this one, I wish I could swop my nose with Prada Night lovers just to love it for a brief moment. Perhaps it’s just my nose though, I recently can’t cope with all those new perfumes on the market, they seem to smell all the same to me, overly sweet with either too much tonka bean, coffee, or dull flowers, I miss fragrances which are unique, special and tell a story you haven’t experienced yet, fragrances which smell like poems... I’m an 80’s girl so maybe it’s a generation thing lol... Prada Candy however is one of those scented poems, and it will forever be in my heart and compliment perfume shelves as long as it can, but not this one here unfortunately :( I would strongly suggest you to not blind buy Prada Night, it’s not like the other Candy’s in my opinion, and might dissapoint you, unless you’re easy to please or not so picky with smells. Hopefully Prada will come up with a coffeeless formula some day, or perhaps it’s the dark chocolate which doesn’t seem to fit in for me...

annebannan

This fragrance smells amazing! The initial opening reminds me of Terry's chocolate orange candy, but instead of milk chocolate, it's cacao. I'd also say that the orange note is more of an orange peel fragrance. It's delicious without making you smell juvenile. The dry down has a powdery babydoll scent that reminds me of my childhood. Unfortunately, this fragrance doesn't last long on my skin. I don't mind reapplying though it's worth the experience.

MahaS

I really like this fragrance, I have owned the original Prada Candy and I liked it so much that I decided to try the Flankers.

I have owned quite a bit of chocolate fragrances but nothing like this one, this one actually smells like powdered cacao or if anything the cacao straight from the tree. You can still feel traces of the original Candy DNA, it's a well executed fragrance, I got a few compliments yesterday. I recommend it and I believe that if someday I use it out I will repurchase.

Amascent

Just wow, this is the only one of the Prada Candy line that I like, and forget like, I LOVEEE this! Head spinning sexy, sultry, edible in an expensive way that doesn't read too young like other gourmands. This smells expensive and luxurious and scandalous, a true sinful treat. Women who are confident in their sexuality would wear this. It doesn't smell of chocolate, or candy. It smells of rich cacao, straight from the pod. Absolutely divine. It's a powerful rich espresso like deep buttery sweet scent that wraps around you. lifted by fresh orange, sweetened with caramel drizzle, and grounded with musky vanilla. It has a true buttery vibe, a buttery scent that just melts into your skin and makes you feel incredible. It's the perfect cocktail for evenings, and sensual nights out. A decadent treat. You will be positively sexy and edible wearing this. Men love it.

Koko_S

It has the same ingredients as Boss The Scent for Her Intense but Prada Candy Nights has dominant sugar not, but somehow smells like cheap sugar bomb that you can find in teenager's perfumes... Boss The Scent Intense has much more refined sweet note

Lavandermilk

This is decadent dark chocolate. The cocoa hits your nose first, the buttery sweetness of mouth watering caramel, but then patchouli and musk lying underneath it make you say what? Then you have to smell it some more to try and gauge all the scents. Every single time I wear this i find myself sniffing it compulsively, I simply cannot get enough.

It is comprised of scents that don't quite work together to create one harmonious smell but rather an unusual combination of scents all holding their own just a bit but are team players for sure. There is a bit of powdery-ness in there too, and that mixed with the musk makes this a mature scent to me even though it is sweet.

When I wear this I feel so sexy and sophisticated with a fun wild streak. I am not a huge fan of the other scents in the Prada Candy collection so I really didn't expect to love this one so much. I tested it had to go out and get my hands on a full size asap.

Cess268

It's an ok fragrance. Very powdery. It smells how the 80s original cabbage patch dolls smelled, when they first came out. The company's way of making them smell like "babies" I guess. And the scent doesn't last long at all. I get 2 hours tops before I have to respray. I have a sample and I will NOT be purchasing a full bottle of this. It's not worth it imo

DrRosie

This is one of those perfume after you smell it, you want to purchase it but you feel a little awkward because in your mind you think i t is not age appropriate. You keep going back to it over and over again. I keep telling people perfume is ageless and timeless, perhaps I should take my own advice and buy the darn perfume and call it a day. It is the only one in the candy line I am in love with.

Apiaceae

This scent is not really for me but it left a good impression. It is quite an odd one. After a conversation with a couple of my colleagues, we concluded that it smells like an afternoon out in a pub where coffee is served. I would also add that the sweetness is not overwhelming and it has a slightly smoky cocoa quality to it. Very nice!

P. S. I ended up buying a bottle. So, I guess I like it more than I initially thought

tyekristopher

This is a great chocolate ice cream delicious concoction! I really like this one . I say it’s alnost a sister fragrance angel minus the patchouli, if you don’t like angel I would at least try this one .

DebiL1211

Absolutely beautiful. Sweet chocolatey caramel fragrance. Not tooth achingly sweet either. Definitely a cold weather fragrance. Longevity on my skin is around 7 hours. Stays close to the skin after 2 hours. I really like this fragrance and will most likely purchase again.

auroramaria

After testing and wearing this version of Candy I have come to the conclusion that I don't like Prada im fragrances
I have bought a few by this brand but I never found them to be wow.Candy Night is lovely and chocolaty but something is missing, not for me

Efrosini

This is definitely neroli oriented and not orange. Orange would have been a better choice, since the neroli makes it smell masculine, like an old-fashioned cologne. I’m not sure what to make of it yet, if it’s really a good blend.
The cacao and butterscotch/caramel notes are very nice.

dimas_ekoputrariyadi

I love this perfume so much! It smells like a high-quality dark chocolate to me, so pleasant! The bottle is so beautiful as well.. but to be completely honest the performance of this perfume is just moderate to me.. just last between 3 - 4 hours.. *sigh*
but overall this is a nice perfume, I love it!

MistyPenny

This smells just like a box of chocolates! Chocolate, caramel, vanilla, orange - it’s all there! And the chocolate smells like dark chocolate. A very gourmand fragrance! Not too much musk - perfect! It has just enough base to make it a wearable fragrance and not make you feel like you’re wearing a box of chocolates. This also layers perfectly with Prada Candy Gloss and smells like chocolate covered cherries. Great longevity - I could smell chocolate many hours afterwards.

scentnut

Fragrantica please edit the notes. A cursory google search reveals the following:

Head notes: Neroli, Iris, Bitter Orange
Heart notes: Tonka bean, Vanilla
Base notes: Chocolate, Patchouli

With that being said this smells like Christmas to me! Chocolate chip cookies baking, and yes one reviewer nailed it with the Tootsie Roll comparison. My late Papa loved that candy - what a warm reminder! I get a little orange at the beginning which feels a little misplaced but give it a few minutes then the powdery iris makes an appearance. I smell the musk but I don’t really detect the patch and that stuff loves me a little TOO much so it’s either a really soft good one or barely in there at all. It stays pretty linear which I actually love. Imagine it’s Christmas Eve, you’re baking in the kitchen, cocoa powder is wafting in the air from hot cocoa along with an orange Italian cake on the counter, then the most elegant Grandmother or Aunt in your family strolls in wearing some Chanel No. 5. That is what I imagine. This WILL be my “Holiday 2019” scent.

I decided to buy a bottle 10 minutes into the first test. Needless to say I love it!

JetsBabe

I'll be honest, it was a blind buy and I only bought this perfume because of the mesmerizing bottle colors.

I was sure it'd smell like original Candy, too. Well, it does NOT smell exactly like original, phew! Yes, original Candy is there, but imagine you mix original candy with thick dark chocolate and you get this-- it is original candy with a twist.

It is very nice and it isn't sweet to the point where you think you're swimming in "Pink Sugar"...I consider it a more mature sweet? Most importantly, it is lovely and that bottle! Also, lasting power seems good-- isn't potent but does linger for about 6-8 hours

PS: after hours, dry-down reminds of "hypnotic poison" too. This is a total gem

mv88

i dont have a lot of experience sniffing out notes and giving properly detailed reviews, but i think it's good to collect as many opinions as possible before buying, so here is mine!

To me, this smells not at all like cocoa, which i was hoping for, but i loved it anyway!

It smells heavily like violet candy (the kind in Marc Jacobs Daisy and Guerlain Meteorites) and spearmint.

In a really cool way, rather than an elderly way (and anyway, not everyone ages in a boring way, so stop being ageist!), it reminds me exactly of my grandmother's purse! She was always a very elegant lady, and a very stylish gal in her youth, and she maintained a very glamorous vibe forever (think Ella Fitzgerald). She wore Oscar de La Renta as her signature fragrance, which is gardenia, but somehow the mix of that with her leather handbags, her Coty makeup powder, a Dior red lipstick and a pack of spearmint gum she always carried... is what i smell in Prada Candy Night.

Some may be put off by the idea of wearing something that reminds them of their grandma, but my grandma was like a Hollywood starlet of old, and i find it quite cool that this reminds me of watching her get ready for a night out on the town.

It's perfect for a glamorous night out, with a vintage 1920s or 40s Hollywood vibe - - those eras where high glamor was important when splurging on a night out. You don't need to be older to pull it off, because it doesn't feel "elderly," it feels classic and vintage.

rastamama

I received a Sephora sampler for my anniversary. The box of samples that lets you choose a full sized bottle. I smelled many of the samples before but there were a few new ones as well. Included in the ones I’d never smelled were Candy Night. I sprayed maybe 4 before this one and was totally underwhelmed with those 4. However, after spraying Prada Candy Night I actually felt excited. It’s got that beautiful sweet sexy smell that I crave. I love amber scents and although this has no amber in the notes, the chocolate and orange give me a similar feeling. I wanted a new Fall/Winter scent for my collection and this is so perfect.
Love this...cant wait to get my full bottle.

I never really got on board with the Prada Candy trend. In 2011 when the original Prada Candy was first released, young girls went 'bananas' for its sweet, musky caramel blend. It was a best-seller for many years, however, newer scents like YSL's Black Opium and Lancome's La Vie Est Belle seem to have eclipsed it in popularity.

Prada Candy has spawned many flankers over the years and although I haven't tested every single one, there's a few here and there that I have occasioned to smell. Prada Candy Night is a relatively new flanker and one of the most interesting Prada Candy releases to date.

Prada Candy Night is all about the dusty chocolate accord. The signature caramel note is still present, however, it tends to take a back-seat in this composition. In the initial stages, I find Prada Candy Night difficult to wear. The top notes feature a zesty orange note followed by dusty cocoa powder, the unsweetened kind.

Thankfully, the drydown is far more palatable. Sweet, gooey caramel and a pleasant white musk softens the bitterness of the opening and provides a delicious gourmand touch.

Despite having grown out of wearing gourmands in recent years, Prada Candy Night is a novelty, a fragrance that one wears when they're craving something sweet. On a younger woman, a man may find a scent such as this one alluring and sexy. A more mature man or woman will perhaps consider Prada Candy Night to be too sweet.

I do recommend sampling Prada Candy Night before a blind purchase. It's not for everyone. Even fans of the original Prada Candy may find this fragrance difficult to wear. Chocolate is a tricky note in perfumery, but for what it's worth, I enjoyed smelling it.

This is choco musk. I‘m not talking about the Al-Rehab fragrance of the same name, which I have never smelled, but the name immediately popped to my head when I tried Prada Candy Night. Chocolate is the dominating note in it, blended with the Prada Candy DNA of powdery caramel and musk. In the opening I quickly get some orange, but it doesn‘t stay for long.
In my opinion this is neither a night version of Candy, nor more intense, it would work well for any time of the day in cooler temperatures. Very cozy, like a mug of hot cocoa.
While this doesn‘t smell like a cheap chocolate body-spray, it‘s a little too flat and linear to me. I think I like my chocolates darker, with some patchouli added, or with more fruity notes, so that‘s just my taste. I‘m also more into caramel than chocolate, so I prefer regular Candy EDP. But if I ever felt like I needed a very simple milk chocolate scent, I know that Candy Night would be a viable option.

When I first encountered this it was on paper and I picked up a slight “cough syrup” scent. It then went to a “Turkish Delight” chocolate bar (remember those?). The next encounter was an actual spray on my skin and then I fell in love with it! The longer it sits on the skin, the better it gets! Yummy chocolate and that unmistakable Prada “something” that I can’t quite put my finger on but always love. I think this is my favourite Prada so far. So warm and comfortable, like curling up in a cashmere sweater, with a Turkish delight chocolate bar. There’s a freshness to it as well that will take me from fall into winter.

On me this is all musky cacao and orange. Based on the notes I thought that it would be an absolute love for me as I’m into vanilla/cacao gourmands, however it wasn’t quite what I expected. I’d definitely recommend testing a few times before buying. I was just getting used to it then somebody told me I smelled like a chocolate orange, which is not really what I’m going for. Reminds me of Boss the Scent private accord for her.

The first sniff is a strong minty white chocolate smell, a bit overwhelming. After a few minutes the notes gets clearer. I smell oranges, vanilla, caramel and cacao powder. It smells more cacao and vanilla than caramel, but maybe I need more wear to notice the caramel better.

The projection starts moderate strong, after 1-2 hours it's more moderate soft, then around 3-4 hours it goes softer and closer to skin, I can still get faint sniffs for the rest of the day. I think I would reapply once after 5-6 hours if I feel to give it a final boost.

I found the smell flirty, cozy, agreeable to wear, but I think I got perfumes with similar notes that I prefer in my collection. I found the performance average poor, not to the point to be a deal breaker for me. In overall I don't regret my purchase, it's something I will enjoy this fall winter, when I feel for a soft vanilla chocolate powdery scent.

Edit: Just like another reviewer here, I also smelled incense. That wear was incense and white chocolate.

I am in LOVE with this perfume!
First off I'm a huge fan of the Candy line (except for L'eau) and I've owned them all, so I was REALLY concerned about the longevity of this new addition.
It starts off with a very intense alcoholic orange before very quickly settling down and letting the cacao/caramel combo shine.
This part is hard for me to describe as the fragrance dances between waxy chocolate bar and sweetened cocoa powder - all the while mixing with soft gooey caramel and vanilla.
Performance wise, Candy Night is light and airy - and I really don't mean that in a bad way! Instead of a thick, heavy gourmand cloud following you around (which is what I usually prefer) Night takes the back seat and and whispers you sweet nothings while you go about your business.
Sillage is soft to moderate (I don't see this being offensive to anyone at all) and the longevity is a solid 8 hours plus. FINALLY A CANDY THAT LASTS!
I'm a little biased on the Candy line, however I give this a solid 9/10!

Finally finally had the chance to sample this..Night starts with a blast of cocoa almost tootsie roll like in smell that quickly morphs into a cocoa powder caramel combo..similar DNA to the original with its powder muskiness..I like but I surprisingly don’t love it :/. Like I deff don’t see myself needing a bottle of it..all the way dried down I got some similar DNA to candy kiss..strange must be the added orange note..not bad but I still think there’s open room to a Candy Intense still..overall quite enjoyable don’t think I’ll spring to buy it but sure I’d wear it if it was gifted..

I LIKE, I LIKE, I LIKE!!🖤🍫 It opens with a sweet blast if cocoa, followed by caramel, musk, and a hint of vanilla in the dry down. I can't detect any orange in this fragrance. This is a gourmand lover's dream. You get about an hour or two of good projection and about 3-4 hours of longevity. This is definitely good for winter, nights out, and close encounters. This is the only fragrance i like out of the Candy line.

I really did not like the first spritz. It was SO intense. But wearing it on my skin makes all the difference. It is so nice to have the orange added here. Really changes the whole vibe of it. And I've officially fallen in love with it. Longevity is awesome, sillage is perfect. Very close to skin, very sexy!

I have tried this fragrance several times and liked it, but not enough to pull the trigger and actually buy it. I might have to bite the bullet soon because a lot of YT viewers of my channel messaged me asking for a review of this. Compared to the original, this is a simpler, more straightforward fragrance. That is, it is more of a crowd-pleaser and I find that it does not cause a headache regardless of how much you spray at the get-go. It is a solid gourmand fragrance that offers nothing too spectacular. The price point is problematic, for what this perfume offers. If you dont mind shelling out that much money, then it's a good buy. Otherwise, there are better caramel/chocolate gourmand fragrances out there for this kind of money.

I enjoy many of the scents in Prada's Candy line-up. As I mentioned in my review of the original, the name "Candy" is a bit misleading. What unites all the "Candies" is their focus on musk, not on sweets. Only a few from the line could be considered gourmand, e.g., the first OG Candy, Candy Gloss, and now this, Candy Night. What I most appreciate about Prada, though, is when they do opt for gourmand, they create it on their own terms. Think of the popular gourmands on the market today—Black Opium, La Vie Est Belle, Bonbon. While I like to smell them occasionally, they can quickly veer into cloying, like they're completely saturated with SWEET, SWEET, ALL THE SWEET. Prada's gourmands are nothing like that; they have a measure of restraint and maturity about them. The previously mentioned gourmands are like a sugar binge: it's fun at first, but then your stomach turns, regret rises, and you just feel a bit gross (for lack of a better word). In contrast, Prada's gourmands conjure the luxury of an artisanal sweet gifted to yourself at the end of a long day.

And what a luxury Prada's Candy Night is! It retains the DNA of the original, that delicious, decadent caramel oozing into benzoin, vanilla, and musk, but everything's been infused with cocoa. A dark cocoa, the darkest cocoa, the kind you keep away from your dog—just a small nibble would send them on an emergency visit to the veterinarian! Succumb to the pleasures of this fragrance. Give it a spritz. With ecstasy, eyes roll into the back of the head...

I tried it twice because I though there might have been something wrong with the first one.

So the opening is a very herbal cocoa. I do not find it pleasant at all in the beginning.

Afterwards, I am not getting much vanilla, orange or caramel either - it's just raw, plain, unsweetened cocoa to me. The herbal feeling disappears after a while, so it becomes more likeable.
