Basically a pineapple fragrance for young people.

Perfect for cool days, very fruity. In my opinion, besides Vibrant Leather, this is the one of the best perfume ZARA has to offer, projection and longevity is good enough.

I don't smell the pineapple as much in this one, not as strong as it is in VL Bogoss, though. However, this fragrance offers a calm and 'salty' blend of lavender and pepper, which almost tricks you into thinking you're smelling milky scents. It didn't get me compliments directly, but when I wore this to see Barbie, the woman next to me kept asking her female friend, 'Where's that good scent coming from?'

Three years ago when I met my best friend he wore it religiously. He has since switched to Juliette Has A Gun's Moscow Mule but this one is still his signature scent to me.

We spent the whole summer getting drunk at the park and studying for exams and every time I get a whiff of that strong ass pineapple it takes me back to every hoodie and the leather jacket I borrowed on colder nights.

I've had a very different experience re: longevity, as this lasts all day on my skin and it's practically eternal on clothes.

Overall it feels heavy but it's so so delicious. I'm on my second bottle and it looks like I'll have to restock soon.

I wore this the other night and got a continuous compliment from someone who "just couldn't believe how good it smelled". He was equally as shocked when I told him who it was by and how much it cost. This fragrance is heavy pineapple and not much else, except maybe some woods in the dry down. I don't get lavender or violet leaf at all, and I am not sure I'd want to. This may be due to the batch I have being from January 2018. Things might have changed up a bit, since the bottle I have is solid dark blue, and not white as depicted in the photos. The appeal of this fragrance lies in the quality of its simplicity.

Update: 7/2023 - Received another random compliment from someone who couldn't believe this fragrance didn't cost more than it does, and that it was from Zara.

My mate told me about this fragrance. He bought it in bundle that comes with another Zara fragrance for like $30.

So, $30 for 200ml of fragrance juice. I was expecting a downright synthetic, headache-inducing fragrance.

I was sorely mistaken.

3AM is a fresh, fruity and citrusy that can be worn anywhere. On top of that, the blending is smooth as hell.

The opening starts with a mouth-watering combo of lemon and pinnaple. Just a few minutes later, lavender and the woody notes shows up and turns the overwhelmingly zesty aroma into an aromatic fragrance.

Yes, as many suspect, the longevity doesn’t even touch 5 hours, but for the price I’m OK with reapplying after 4 hours.

Try it. I’m confident you’ll like it.

It didn’t shine on me. We just didn’t click. Not bad, just not great. Very simple and it won’t offend anyone but it won’t make you feel good. I received it as a gift with its hideous sister 12 am. I found this more likeable than the other one but at the end of the day… life is too short to not use what you really love. Sample before you buy and remember, 5-10 more bucks for a fragrance you could love are worth it.

I don't hate it/love it either, the opening is very weird. It has kind of a plastic-y/synthetic-y opening that is not really pleasant, after 15-30 minutes it startes to get smoother and become more enjoyable fragrance. Citrusy sweet with a touch of floral from the lavender, it's not unique but it's not bad. Longevity is alright (4-5 hours) with moderate towards weak projection & sillage.

I am not good about the notes and comparing a scent with others. But i am so sure that this is the best Zara perfume i have ever smelled. i have got the navy bottle of this. Dont know this is old or newer one. Got this with a set only 15$. This is my second buy. I was looking for something more expensive so i can expect more but i love this scent and just got it again. if this was not on sale as a set probably i would buy 3-4 bottles. Longevity is really good for a Zara perfume. For me this is spicey. Only can say this because i am a noob about scent. But i am sure this is one of the best Zara perfume i have ever tried.

Anyone who consider that this is a Dior Savage clone, please donot waste much money on fragrances. Clearly your sense of smell is not that great.

This fragrance is a direct Black XS clone. However it is synthetic, heavily cloying, and has poor performance. Still, it is a nice scent for the price.

Anyway, I would recommend Jacques Bogart fragrances instead of Zara among cheapy. The only Zara fragrance for men that is really good is the classic "Zara for Him". And it also has poor longevity.

To me it doesn't resemble anything like Dior or Dylan Blue, creed etc....Never smelled Black XS but this lasts a few hours and is kind of linear but smells good. Good value, has that Zara feel or vibe to it, to me 8pm smells like invictus vibe, this has a dark blue type vibe.

Smell:
Milky pineapple opening, which, the pineapple, will later blend with the soft cedar note and the scent will remain that way for the until it fully goes away.

Longevity:
It lasts 3-5 hours on my skin.

Sillage:
The first hour or two hours, it's at arms length; and then it just sits close to the skin.

Occasion:
Casual - you'll smell nice and friendly; but not sexy. I wouldn't reach for it when the weather is 35+ degrees Celsius and humid; unless you'll be in a space with air conditioning because the pineapple is too cloying for that weather.

Personally, I'd wear this at around 25 degrees Celcius (that would be Spring/Autumn for the average countries).

Yes, I have a bias for the way the pineapple smells in this.

The pineapple really suits this frag more than Paco Rabanne Black XS, I loved this one so much

Paco Rabanne Black XS. WEt3AM is not as sweet or boisterous, but it is obviously a close copy of Black XS.
Since I really enjoy Black XS, this is a good frag for me.

Never owned Black XS but a friend showed me his bottle and at first whiff I figured that it smells very similar to this Zara bottle that I have. So people are right about this being a clone of XS.

It's not bad, it's not amazing. But I reckon I'm just not the biggest fan of XS itself. I do not see how this is best suited for summer as reviews say though. If it's too hot it seems a bit cloying for me, and it seems to have a better vibe when it's cold. Still a day frag.

This, along with its Till 8PM sibling, works good as the "I don't have any plans right now but I still wanna wear perfume" bottle on the shelf.

They could easily call it "Vibrant Lavender". It is synthetic and flat, but that doesn't ruin its charm. A light fruit punch, sweet but fresh. A warm sunset at the beach. I guess a night option for summer too.

I agree with the user who said this smells nothing like black XS and Dior sauvage because it literally smells nothing like those 2 Soo don’t go buying this fragrance based off that. This smells like armaf club intense but with a more prominent pineapple note And minus the smokiness. This fragrance Smells amazing and surprisingly has above average performance! Can’t go wrong. Even if the performance was mediocre..you can’t beat it for the price.

If this scent only had some clout, and legs, it would be killer. It's simple yet a compliment grabbing scent with the pineapple pop up front, and the woodsy violet leaf in the mid & dry down. Wish it lasted, though at this price point you can spray all day!

If you are looking for an alternative to those trendy “skin scent” style/ smells
like clean skin with a slight hint of scent minimalist niche fragrances, look no further.

This to me smells like a sweet, fruity (pineapple) musky citrus with a hint of “i just came from the shower vibe”. This to me is definitely NOT a beast
mode fragrance.

Visually I associate the bottle’s simple/minimalist design with the style and performance of the fragrance. (I have both 8am and 3am and they both scream minimalism)

It might be to synthetic, simple, too clean smelling, and sharp for some during the first hour, but prefer the sweet dry down of the fragrance. Its like your skin just smells naturally sweet.

I layered this today with byredo’s super cedar and im enjoying the dry down even more.

I might be hyping it too much than it deserves but for the price, this is worth
having if you just want to smell hassle free clean without spending too much.

Longevity on me:4-5 hrs with moderate to soft sillage.

I have smelled Dior Sauvage before and some serious clones which perform better than it sometimes,like Ventana Armaf.
This being an attempt to imitate that smell... Actually smells blank as it lacks that pepper and citrus smell on opening. In 7 mins it starts that sauvage vibe, continues so for next 20 mins due to lavender and woody note.
After an hour, it smells nothing even close to sauvage.
Amber-Cedar smell lacks.
As individual smell, I doubt anybody will buy this 'watered down' smell. Too toooo weak.
I recommend not to waste money in it. Even if it is cheap and 30% clone of sauvage.

Very reminiscent of Dylan Blue but simplified. Rather than the fresher blend of grapefruit, it's pineapple. Still discernibly different than Dylan Blue. Not an alternative choice or clone to Dylan Blue, though.

Performance-wise, one of ZARA's better performing release owing. Longevity is ok at 4 hours, but sits close to the skin. You really get what you pay for, honestly.

Still worth a buy considering the mad cheap retail price, but as with many ZARA scents, go crazy with the trigger. Spare no juice with this one. Decant and reapply if you can.

Worth a re-purchase? Unfortunately not. Dylan Blue is reasonably cheap from discounters anyways, as far as designers are concerned.

I don't dislike it, but to me it reminded me of a "dirtier" version of Bleu de Chanel if that makes any sense. Keep in mind I haven't smelled too many fragrances, but this scent did remind me of Bleu, just not as clean or fresh smelling. Both have this heaviness to it, probably from spices, but the Zara is heavier and a bit more muddled.

Honestly no idea if I'm even describing it correctly. Zara is interesting to smell, but a bit stronger than I expected and a bit easy to get tired of quickly if you are not used to it. After spraying though I did keep coming back to it as I tried to unwrap the scent in my mind, so I can't say it is bad but I don't know if the smell lasts very long. I sprayed it on myself about 4 hours ago and smell nothing now.

How can some people say this smells like Black xs and other people say it smells like sauvage? they dont have anything in common

This scent is probably my 3rd favorite scent from Zara after Zara 8.0 and Vibrant Leather. Havent tried testing Bond 9 Scent of Peace for Him but I did picked this bottle from Zara after knowing that it has the top note of calamanzi and liking it.

Unfortunately like most of Zara fragrances, they all share the same weakness in longevity. Multiple spray on my chest under the shirt leaves a skin scent 5 minutes later.

And for the rest of reviewers here, can we finally stop comparing scents to Creed Aventus just because there is a pineapple listed in the top notes? Its getting cornish already. Time to grow up. The notes list doesnt show how much volume or concentration of pineapple really was in the mixture. I cant even detect any hint of pineapple in this scent and its better that way.

What I actually smell is a trace of creamy coconut milk but weirdly, it's not in the official list of notes.

Got the dark blue bottle as part of the W/end 2 bottle set from Zara for £12.99

Decent frag to be sure and it does have that SoPfH vibe to it along with the impression of a less sweet and sort of 'eau freche' version of Music for a While, owing to the Pineapple/lavener accord that dominates the fragrance.
Through its life, I got over 14 hours longevity with 1 spray, the frag seemed to fluctuate between SoPfH, MB Legend and Music for a While, and I have no rhyme or reason why this should be the case, but i'm telling it as it was.
Didn't get the PRBXS vibe from it at all, but maybe thats down to skin chemistry and that I seem to be very sensitive to pineapple and lavender as notes, as they always leap out at me when I wear juice that has them in it.

Given the cost to quality ratio I'd say this is a safe blind buy and nice addition for a warmer weather dumb reach or even a gym scent.
Would it replace SoPfH? No, but it gives that vibe and is in the same ball park.

Smells like Bond No.9 Scent of Peace for Men (Got the dark blue bottle version).

SMELL: GREAT, It's a light aromatic, semi-sweet, light floral, fresh frag; could fall in the unisex category because of it's light floral and semi-sweetness, but it's not super sweet and has a clean freshness about it that it can be worn by a man; definitely a spring/summer daytime or office fragrance

SILLAGE/PROJECTION: GOOD, it's light so it's not a "beast mode" frag that's going to take over but it's very aromatic and projects very well for such a light scent that it will get noticed in the room.

LONGEVITY/PERFORMANCE: GREAT, can still smell it the next day on clothes

I live in thailand where they have street vendors preparing pineapples on the side of the road all of the time and I wanted to smell like that. This does the job nicely.
So there is a tiny resemblance to sauvage, must be the bergamont but it doesn't last long

Nice fragrance. Pleasantly interesting. I like the fruity green opening with a spicy undercurrent in the drydown. Not a longevity beast, but performance certainly isn't abysmal. Not a bad purchase for the price point.

ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! The bottle I got was dark blue and was in a pack with W/End 8pm at the Zara store. Comparisons suggest this cologne is like XS, but I have XS and this smells Absolutely nothing of the sort. The bottle shown here is white so I’m not sure what’s going on here. It’s a beautiful aromatic aquatic scent but from what I can tell it’s weak on me. For me, I literally have to overspray to achieve any longevity, which I dislike doing. I have a 6 spray rule. One on the back of the wrist each, one on each side of the neck, and 2 in the chest. I did that the first time and got maybe an hour. The best scents for my skin that last are purely citrus scents, think (Christian Dior Homme 2017 white bottle) aromatic scents do not last on my skin. I have a 95% filled bottle if anyone wants a trade. Think of a sweeter Invictus clone. Invictus doesn’t last on me either. :(

I don't get the pineapple, and tbh it doesn't smell good to me. It comes in a pack with w/end 8pm, which is pretty nice. Then again, 8pm smells similar to Seoul. So if you're getting the pack because of 8pm, I'd get the Seoul / Lisboa pack instead, specially if you enjoy citrics.

All in all I don't like w/end 3am. Still, Zara makes perfumes that are often above average for the price. If you check my profile, you'll see that I'm taking the time to buy and review many of them, since I think they have a bunch that are worth a try.

A nice summer fragrance .

For It's price it definitely has a good lasting power.

Pineapple and lavender are pretty much the dominant notes.
For a younger audience and it could be pulled off by day and night.

2018 bottle that comes seperate or with 8PM. Note that the older bottles came with 12AM in one pack. The new one has these notes:

TOP: Calabrian Bergamot, Pineapple, Calamanzi

MIDDLE: Lavandet, Sichuan Pepper, Violet Leaves

BOTTOM: Amber, Cedarwood, Oakmoss

The same frag as before, maybe more longer lasting but the same pineapple fresh vibe that is very fruity and non offensife. But it projects quite good, and very light, airy.

If only this smelled different... :) Don`t get me wrong, it`s ok, but with very limited purpose. Almost for young clubbers onl. But I still like it, it`s like a feelgood scent you would put on a cold winter night to remember the summer parties you went to when you were young :)

I get great performance from this one (probably the best of all zara`s frags that I tried): 3 hours of strong projection and 9+ hours of longevity. If you like the scent, this is a no brainer...

W/END till 3:00 AM opens on my skin with a bit exotic,fresh and citrusy blend of pineapple,bergamot and lemon laying on top of a clean lavender.At this point,in the opening,he's got that tropical vibe going on.
As time goes by,during mid development,lavender becomes stronger,deeper and more intense with a hint of violet leaf and with a wisper of warm pepper.At this point,in the middle,W/END till 3:00 AM has some similarities to Sauvage by Christian Dior,but Zara is in a completely different ball park.
This all leads into a woody and a bit powdery base with dominant cedar and lavender and with a hint of amber.
"Quality/Cost Ratio"is high.

Longevity - 7/10(7+ hours)
Silage/Projection - 7,5/10(moderate projection and silage for the first 2-3 hours)
Weather -For more or less any time of year.Best in early autumn,spring and summer.I personally wouldn't wear this on a really cold winter days.

I got this in a package with 12AM. This is a very aromatic levander and pinneaple scent. At first i liked it but now, not so much. It smells too much like cheap car air freshener, or some other levander cleaning product. The performance is incredible, you can smell it around yourself after 7+ hours of wearing it , you can take a shower and still smell this on your skin. But that levander note...

Its like lighter Dylan Blue with pineapple scent. It a good blind buy to me.

This smell just only 790 baht in thaialnd is so cheap and save money for the people who liked smell like CD Dior Sauvage.

couple days ago i bought this fragrance at Zara store in my city. it was a blind buy because there is no tester on the store and i alredy saw couple of review from this forum before i decided to buy this stuff.
first spray smells little bit strong in the opening but later it became soft, fresh and fruity, sweet, so sweet that i can feel taste of strawberry on my teeth. for longevity i would say 5-6 hours.
i bought this for 16USD 100ml and dark blue bottle. nice..

As soon as I sprayed this fragrance on me immediately I made a memory of a very similar and identificable new relative in this family. It took me a couple of days until my subconscious mind kicked in and got me the answer...It smells just like Bvlgari Aqva Atlantique, very similar in fact. The more I alternate them, the more similar they seem to me.

I don't know if this is product of the warm weather here in South Florida or they are actually clones. The main difference is that Zara W/END till 3:00 AM perform far better than Bvlgari Aqva Atlantique, you get more hours and more compliments with Zara W/END till 3:00 AM.

There is a balanced combination of fruits and florals. It is the type of fragrance that work perfect in Countries like Brasil and also Tropical smells fans (Hispanic Culture).

They both smell pretty good to my taste but I live in a permanent Summer-Spring weather in Miami Beach and love this type of fragrances.

Dylan Blue is also a member of this family but takes the first place in regards to long lasting performance and sillage.

But ZARA W/END till 3:00 AM is a very good option if you want a nice, freshy-Tropical smelling fragrance without spending a fortune.

I actually went back to the ZARA Store and purchased a second bottle because I know it will be gone pretty soon and probably won't come back.

I do recommend this fragrance if you enjoy the BVLGARI AQVA line of products.

P.S. Very Under rated my overall grading: 7.5 / 10

I am wearing it right now. Freshly applied. The temperature is slightly lower than the summer heat where I didn't get this powdery feel that is currently dominating. Other than that, the strawberry/pineapple/sweet+citrus top notes similar to Black XS are here, and the drydown was always dominated by amber, which would often waft up to my nose.

After the initial fruit, it settles into this very clean aura. And projects nicely for a couple hours.

Longevity is above average, especially when price is taken into consideration, and the fact that this and 12AM can be bought for 13ish US$ or EUR shows one doesn't need to spend a lot to smell awesome and/or better than most people.

Definitely a fresh but sweet frag. Ripe pineapple, a bit of melon and lavender. Not for my nose, but I think it will please One Million and Ultra Male fans. Good smell and price, but I can't tolerate more than 15 mins on my skin. I give it a 7/10 for price x benefit relation, but would not use. Give it a try yourself. BTW - the comparisons with Creed Aventus are not 100% accurate, as the pineapple here is not smokey, but rather high fructose, its almost as the juice would leave a sticky trace on your skin.

Triple Doppelgänger

The start is Black XS, in truth it's impossible to achieve this and strawberries' and Pineapple's smells are worlds apart but as in Black XS so is in Zara Till 3: Sometimes I think it's the pineapple and other times it's the strawberries.

In the mid phase it becomes tart pineapple with powdery lavender, reminiscent of Joop's Nightflight.

Dry down is Sauvage 2015, that (not in a bad way)synthetic monotone ambroxeni bundle.

Longevity: 5 hours
Projection: 1 foot for 30 minutes and then skin scent

Anybody feel this is very similar to Black XS?

I get to sample this one during my visit to a local mall store. I did 2 sprays on my left arm --- man, it smells beautiful! It's moderately sharp & sweet pineapple. A nice opening overall & I was immediately impressed I must say.

However, an hour later the smell starts to turn into something that evokes feeling of being in a hospital room/ward. I dunno but the nice pineapple note has gone weak and all that's remained is that sharp isopropyl alcohol-ish faint fruitiness.

Maybe your bottle went bad. It happened to me. When a frag goes bad its beyond awful. To me tis one is one of the best Zara has to offer. Maybe you dont like this kinda of cheaper simple frag. I came across tons of those that ppl simply love and hype but on me it was god damn disaster. Like nautica voyage, 360 red, boss bottled... so maybe this simply isnt working for you. I find most zara frags not so good. Even those that are, they are good only in the opening. This one however has everything I need and frankly, lasts a long time. I too have dark blue bottle and the white mat one. The smell is the same.

An absolutely perfect summer fragrance. I tend to stay away from fragrances with pineapple notes as they tend to be too sweet for my nose, but Zara W/END has just the right balance.

The open is a lovely pineapple, which sustains through the drydown, with a hint of bergamot and lavender. The cedar comes through in the drydown, and that pineapple-woodsy mix is absolutely divine.

I don't think this is anywhere close to Aventus, it's not as fruity or musky. This is much closer to Bond No. 9 the Scent of Peace for Him, minus the vetiver and juniper (and at a 10th of the price!). Don't be fooled by the similarities, however. This is not a clone, and stands very well on it's own.

Longevity is average, I get around 4 hours on my skin with moderate sillage.

Definitely a great purchase if you can find it, I paid around USD 20 for 100 ml and it's worth much more than that!

As scorching summer heat arrived, I've been wearing this one more and more. And honestly, this is best than most summer frags people are talking about.

This is pineapple from start to finish with a bit of a woodsy dry down. It is fresh, a bit sweet but not overly. It is so smooth, balsamic like a gentle pineapple cream. If you ever tried YSL Lhomme, it has that easy going sweet fresh blend. Just the right amount for summer that stays fresh and not cloying. Not the same smell as Lhomme but you know, that smooth gentle feeling. not too sweet, not too sharp, not aggressive or cloying... like sleeping on a hot summer night covered with fine silk that smells of fruit. That is the best description I can think of.

Amazing longevity in the summer heat. 8 hours easily with 2.5 of good projection. Period!! One of the best that Zara has to offer. I don't care if this is close to Aventus or some other... it stands superb on it's own and smells divine!!

The blue bottle seems to bare more similarities with The Scent of Peace for Him by Bond No9.

fresh perfume not as strong as vibrant leather which still has my preference and has very similar smell from Zara - but the hell - I bougt it for less than €13,- a box with this one and the 12:00 am in 100ml bottles - so I am not complaining - there isn't any retailer where one can buy these quality fragrances at these prices

Nice fresh pineapple lavender fragrance that lasts for 10 hours and projects for 3 if you put a bit more. It survived a 10 hours of sleeping and washing hands after. A skin scent by that time but very noticeable. On clothes it lasts for a day. Reminds me of Aventus because of that pineapple, but it's more of Bond Scent of Peace for Him. For a price and an every day casual wear... definitely worth it.

It starts as a very fresh pineapple and I get a bit of gentle cedar in the dry down, but overall straight up pineapple from start to finish and a very very good one, not synthetic at all nor does it change from a beautiful opening to a strange dry down like most Zara frags do.

This is 95% Bond No 9 Scent Of Peace clone. I mixed Zara W/END till 3:00 AM Zara for men with Zara Vibrant Leather Zara for men and made the classic Creed Aventus 2011 batch clone.

I get strawberry more than pineapple. Generic fruity I'd say, not bad but I'd wear other things over this. Longevity seems meh.

Paid 9.99€ for this, not too bad.

this perfume to me is pure pineapple, this is why i layer it with armaf club de nuit intense man to make it smell more like aventus.

I think I am really smelling the lavendar and violet leaf here, violet leaf gives a slight sharpness? which I like and is sweet at the same time. Digging this one, can totally be unisex, it is $10 CDN for one ounce and $16 for 2.7 ounces so you really can't go wrong with this one
