Just a simple way to separate real from fake! I found between this and the hologram on the box (or lack thereof), is the easiest way to discern real from fake. The fakes appear to be very well-made (at least mine was).
Real : Forrest Green
Fake: Pale Blue
Freight Scales:
Real: 850 grams
Fake: 700 grams
Kitchen Scales:
Real: 837 grams
Fake: 683 grams
If you are buying second hand and unsure, might pay to pack the baking scales.

Where did you get the fake one? That is so terrifying.
I wouldn't call it terrifying, it was annoying though. From Ebay.
I will avoid buying 2nd hand Ergos. Too many fakes for this brand.
